When we walked in, we were told "this is a smoking bar, but the food here is phenomenal" and that was 100% accurate. Everything everyone in our party tried was fantastic, no complaints. The chicken fried pork chop was recommended as the best option, and it is so good, you might like it even if you don't normally like pork chops. The grilled oysters are also top notch, but if you need a less adventurous option, the cheese fries have an excellent queso on there that will please the pickiest of eaters. Definitely a great pick for some unexpectedly good food.

Stopped in here completely at random. Was staying in a nearby hotel and was looking for somewhere that was open late.. Ordered a poboy and a beer. Kicked back and just took in the atmosphere, wasnt really where I thought Id end up for the day but it was a decent experience. Food came out after not too long, and was pretty decent. No complaints..

An Addison staple. The menu is simple, and approachable. They are known for their oysters , which are procured from the best of the best suppliers in the Gulf. The entire menu has hidden gems. Don’t let the casual, local watering hole feel fool you. There are seriously amazing culinary delights to be had! Go for any Po Boy!!! Bread is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside! (Rivals any Po Boy in NewOrleans.) My favorite is the blackened catfish Po Boy with cheese. The fries, ohhh the fries! You’ll throw rocks at McDonald’s! It’s a special secret salt made especially for THIS Shuck n’ Jive and Nowhere else. The wings are OUTSTANDING! (Local tip)… Get the lemon pepper wings, it’s not on the menu, but it’ll change your expectations for wings! They are BIG and perfectly cooked. (Local tip)…Don’t ask for all drums or all flats, they are as perfect as wings get, honestly the best wings in Addison! Honestly, a can’t miss menu that everyone will love!

My first time in this location. Had to wait for bartender to clear glasses from previous patron. I noticed there are a lot of regulars at the bar and they were quite loud. The music was very loud and everyone was shouting over it. The food was on the mark for this chain. The NBA finals were on and one patron was getting excited and even louder than the roar of the regulars. One of them told him to shut up and hit himm. The louder patron pushed him into another customer. Manager asked only the louder guy to leave and not the assailant. This did not bode well with either the loud guy or the other patron who was not involved. The loud guy threw his beer across the room to the floor and turned to leave. At this time another of the regulars bum rushed the loud guy and shoved him from behind. Others rushed in to prevent further escalation, and the loud guy left. Most fun I've had in a while.
