Tried their chicken sushi burrito it was OK. Wasn't fond much of the taste but I guess because I chose chicken. Will try the salmon next time

Went there yesterday. Was excited to try their 25 derhams deal (6 California sushi pieces+ miso soup+ pinapples). For the the price you're paying, it isn't bad at all. I really enjoyed the soup and the pineapples were actually the best part.<br/>However, for a place in the foodcourt, food takes long before it's done.

I tried the shrimp avocado roll and the salmon california roll - both of which were average. As soon as the cashier accepted my payment, I asked her if i can change one of my meals to the meshi box and she advised it has already been punched and it cannot. I dont think its a big deal but hey customer satisfaction means a lot if you want to at least try it.Honestly you will give this place more than a two star only if:<br/>- you are super hungry and want to just try it<br/>- you have an entertainer voucher<br/>- you have no idea what sushi is

Good start for A Sushi Virgin... A vegetarian one...<br/><br/>I always wanted to try Sushi, but always found lack of Veg options at most of the Sushi Restaurants...<br/><br/>But, that became the calling for me when I reached this counter...<br/><br/>More than 10 types of Veg Sushi.. And, I thought, today is the day I try one...<br/>I tried Sweet Garden California Roll and Avocado Sushi...<br/>They served it with a dip and Wasabi sauce.<br/><br/>Avocado Sushi tasted OK..<br/>California roll was good...<br/>Wasabi and some Shaved Veggies on Side were full of heat and had a kick to it... Yummy...<br/><br/>However, it seems, Sushi is an acquired taste, and I will need some more encounters to eat it right and get most flavors...<br/><br/>Recommended for loosing the Sushi Virginity...

Who says you need to visit a restaurant for you to try jap food? Nah!!!! <br/><br/>Sushi counter in IBN foodcourt offers a variety of jap food, from salads to rolls to burrito. You name it! Food I have ordered were great and service was superb!

Hey all,<br/><br/>Was there yesterday and tried out the Salmon poke, it was a great dish, I had it with quinoa while all options available (Rice white, brown and black)<br/>I would recommend if you order this dish just add on top of it some soya source to enrich the flavors .<br/><br/>Didn’t try the sushi there, will do maybe next time.<br/><br/>Enjoy eating 😊

Love it! Every time, I love it! Tonight I had <br/><br/>- cucumber maki<br/>- salmon nigiri<br/>- tuna roll with avocado<br/>- steamed edamame <br/><br/>And there is nothing else that you should need. I like to keep it simple. It was fresh, tender and delicious. Thank you sushi counter.

First advice for those who understand absolutely nothing in sushi or in any other world cuisine - better to shut up than to give your stupid comments. <br/>Sushi counter is one of the best sushi-making place in UAE, especially their Ibn Battuta Branch! Guys you make fantastic sushi and your "sushi burrito" is awesome and unequaled! Thank you very much!

This is the worst sushi i ever had, the shrimp is oily bad wrapping, they even heat the fried shrimps in the micro wave. For the first time i couldn't eat my meal.

Ordering sushi from IBN Batuta to Discovery Garden, waiting 90 minutes for delivery and ending up another food from another restaurant by driver mistake, spend 30 minutes more to fix to issue and after 2 hours eat your food if you can enjoy.. Never ever again!

Over priced and leaves you feeling completely ripped off, specifically in terms of portions and can be quite irritating when you see what you can get for the same amount in the food court. Be prepared to dish out a lot of money for a very average fare if your ordering hungry. Never ordering or going to these folks ever!

Very simply love the raw mango and prawn one, the sun dried tomato one and don't love so much the prawn tempura variant here.<br/><br/>Must try the raw mango and prawn. Amazing flavor.

Sushi is becoming one of my favourite dishes these days - so I tried something new from this branch of SUshi counter. The delivery was approximately around the estimated time. And the big bag I had been delivered, surprised me a bit.<br/><br/>I had ordered sushi platter which came with 3 different kinds of sushi, 2 of them salmon and one prawn. It also came with salmon salad and a beverage. But the most exciting part was the sides they gave with the items and there were so many in small amounts. I especially loved their wasabi sauce - it had a very, very strong kick, which I crave in all wasabi sauces. Overall, good experience!

As a sushi restaurant located in the food court, where it's self-serve, it is somewhat over priced. There is no value for money as the quality is below average, tasteless.... <br/>I personally will not give it another try.

This is located in the food court in Ibn Battuta mall.<br/>Not a bad place to try sushi. They are average to good.<br/>They used to have the The Entertainer offers but not anymore and they used to treat you bad if you mention using them. So service is average.

I heard enough negative feedback to turn me off before... still I wanted to give it my personal feedback.<br/><br/>Authenticity 2<br/>Service 3<br/>Deliciousness 2<br/>Value for money 1<br/><br/>I had the quinoa salad and the passion rainbow dragon roll.<br/><br/>Small portions. . 45 dhs for an average roll and 25 dhs for a pathetic excuse of a salad. The smallest salad portion I ever seen!<br/><br/>Didn't seem very fresh with limited options on the menu.<br/><br/>Don't recommend. If u r in ibn batuta and craving for sushi ... well good luck with that!<br/>;)

Love Sushis! And especially when the craving gets a lil out of control this place is a treat to go to. Good place to satisfy your hunger for the fresh Sushis in town! Really recommend it :)

Offered in the Dubai Entertainer 2015, you can purchase one main menu item of sushi and receive another for free. I ordered the shrimp avocado roll whilst my friend had the TNT California roll which we both thoroughly enjoyed.<br/>The sushi here is made fresh to order so you will receive a buzzer which will go off once your food is ready for collection. Perfect for a quick and light meal.

It's got to be one of the brightest restaurants in the food court. The pricing? Not so bright.<br/><br/>It's got good quality sushi, however, because it's in the middle of the food court, it's very expensive. It's probably the perception of the location that weighs on your mind when your card is swiped. <br/><br/>Good to try if you're not in the mood to walk all the way to Yo! Sushi in the China cluster.

It might be 'food court' sushi but seriously, what's not to like. It's prepared fresh, it's quick, tasty and hands down beats the vast majority of food court outlets. The spicy miso soup is delicious, the quinoa salmon salads zingy and fresh, and the rolls platter with 2 x crab, salmon, shrimp and tuna rolls all makes for a great lunch time refuel that's healthy too. It's a bit pricey but I think it's worth the money. My current fave lunch time spot

My first experience at Sushi Counter. I don't know why, but I just can't get behind food court sushi. Maybe I'm a sushi snob.<br/><br/>I went with the seafood noodle miso soup. Nothing special here. Ramen noodles in miso soup with pretty good seafood. Probably not something I would try again.<br/> <br/>The sushi looked tasty. Maybe I'll get over my food court sushi phobia and give it a try sometime.

Sushi in a food court? Well - Sushi Counter looks slightly more confident than other food stalls, when it comes to quality. Hence I gave it a try.<br/><br/>I ordered beef nigiris, some beef and tuna sashimi and nigiris and a spicy tuna roll.<br/><br/>The quality is... quite expected. Not bad at all. But what puts me slightly off is the price, which can definitely compete against some finer establishments in the numerous 5 stars hotels, which sport a Japanese restaurant in Dubai.<br/><br/>There is not so much to report. If you are craving for an adequate maki roll or nigiri sushi, please don't hesitate to order some of them. But it is not that special and quite expensive as well.... pass...
