Store is closed down and no longer open. I believe on what the outsiders are saying is that they have relocated to another location. Hopefully a different cuisine will be available as we all know Al Qusais is very limited. Bring on the Thai, Sushi, Korean, Mexican, Pizza and Western cuisines!

I have heard about there showerma thought of having a showerma reached there at 1:25 pm but the restaurant was closed I checked the timing at Zomato and it was mentioned there that the restaurant is opened from 12 noon to 11pm.

The owner is from Delhi and he has managed to assembly good staff and place. My kashmiri friend took me there for the first time so that i could taste some Kashmiri cuisine. Ambiance is good. Service is also good. Tried rista, tabakmaaz and rice. The food was good and fresh. The rista balls were tasty but small sized compared to the ones i have had before. Tabakmaaz was a revelation and i quite liked the taste. Overall a good experience.

Hopped in one of afternoons last week for a late lunch around 4 pm. We wanted to have the lunch buffet for 42 dirhams but unfortunately we were late. But we had their buffet before, it is pretty nice and worth the money...<br/><br/>However we resorted to the Ala carte menu and ordered Purani Dilli ki mutton nihari, Chicken tikka butter masala, zeera aaloo, mixed veg along with butter naan, garlic naans and tandoori rotis. <br/><br/>The food was amazing but soon we realized that even four main courses are not sufficient for 6 people. That was disappointing!!!<br/><br/>So we ordered Chicken Jahanghir which was their dish of the day but that too came with just three pieces.. <br/><br/>Food quality and taste was superb but the portions need to be improved and this restaurant can go upto 4.5 too.

a total disappointment....ordered nihari and butter naan...simple order as the nihari was just picked up frm the buffet chauffing dish...but the naan was disgusting...the worst bread i evr ate in my life...literally felt like as if i was chewing a bubble gum which ignores all ur efforts to pull apart....the bread was not properly cooked and its literally gave me a run for my money....please make sure your food is good or else dont bother.

(Too oily, extremely strong odor of ginger n garlic paste)<br/><br/>Order took 30 minutes...to be shocked, the waiter whi took order went for delivery and they forgot our jerra rice order.<br/><br/>Waiter was complaint that they are always short of staff.<br/><br/>Hope Management take note of this and improve the service snd quality.

Just visited this place yesterday along with family, coming back after a while. Was really shocked to see how the place is now. Use to be really good two years back, use to be frequent then. The service , food and ambience has just died out. Seems like these guys are not interested in running this place ! I have been throwing up since morning as something I ate from the buffet didn't sit well with me. That's why taking the hassle of writing this review so that others don't go through the same.

Table booking is recommended. <br/>Starters: Seekh Kebab with Mint Sauce. One of the best, spicy sauces I've ever had! The kebab was cooked to perfection and was juicy on the inside. <br/><br/>Main course: Plain Naan with Butter Chicken and Veg Kadai and Chicken Biryani. The gravies were delicious while the Biryani was mediocre, as it had very less flavour to it. Naan, as usual, was good enough. <br/><br/>The service was quick and the staff were interactive and friendly. The ambience was good. <br/>

This is the ONLY restaurant that I would never ever even DREAM of visiting again in my life. I wished I wouldn't have to eat the food the moment they served it! We just went an hour back and came home with a severe headache and what not! We ordered Butter naan (specified not to put too much of butter, but still served dripping with butter), Kadai Paneer (that tasted like rotten pickle with stale paneer for 26 DHS) and Malai Kofta (which at 30 DHS was a bland, ready-to-eat Malai mix). I'd previously been at the Zaiqa branch at Oud Metha and came with high expectations as we had LOVED our meal there.<br/><br/>Let's sum our experience like this- Spent 40 mins at the restaurant, Food took 20 mins to arrive, and the waiter never came with the bill which took another 10 mins, as I went to the counter myself to pay up after nobody turned up at the table.<br/><br/>This place deserves a wildcard entry into Gordon Ramsey's KITCHEN NIGHTMARES any day. Words fail me when I try to describe the utter despicability with which we felt we were treated here. We were just TWO people in the restaurant for the entire duration of our dinner and the waiters were just loitering around instead of attempting to even take our order or to be of any help to us! What's worse, we saw the waiter blatantly taking out the Kadai Paneer from the buffet counter before serving us the same thing 15 mins later!!! Guys, the Rumali roti must be served hot, not when it actually starts feeling and tasting like a kerchief. We lost our appetite after having food from this Outlet. We would STRONGLY advise anyone to NOT visit this Outlet. The waiters are experts at wasting time and are least bothered about their customers. No wonder we were the only visitors at 8PM.<br/><br/>It does not end here. We clearly told the restaurant manager our concerns. To our shock, he admitted the Chef who cooks vegetarian food at this Outlet isn't as good as the Chef at Oud Metha..! What are we, as patrons, going to make out of all this? Am I coming to have your food at the restaurant or to sort out staff issues? If you don't have a competent chef, why would you fleece your customers and risk bad publicity? I consider the money spent here for our dinner as completely WASTED.<br/><br/>An icing on the cake. When I take the effort to go up to the table and pay the bill with my credit card, the waiter sheepishly apologises and tells me that his card reader has not been working the whole day. Lovely. Can it get any more divine than this?<br/><br/>Dear Owners of Zaiqa...this Outlet of yours is located on Damascus Street- a place renowned for its culinary options. If we don't get want we want here..we will just hop on to the next place 10 metres away. For us, it was a grave mistake that we even thought of coming here in the first place. Even the chopped raw onions served to us were stale.<br/><br/>Don't believe this? Check out snaps of our plate and the Kadai Paneer (which btw, we asked them to take the excess oil FROM.)<br/><br/>What a marvellous excuse to waste money.<br/>

I had gone with my family for lunch. They have buffet for lunch too, which is an option you find in very few restaurants. However, I was not impressed with their buffet options. I felt the buffet as a whole does not provide much variety- there are more non veg options, so if you are a vegetarian I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and the charges per person are high. The prices on weekend are higher than that on weekdays. The food taste was also average. The staff is friendly and the ambience is okay. There is limited parking space. The restaurant is a little congested.

Have bought a veg combo on 18july as per the menu they have to provide sahi paneer however they packed mushroom and gave the parcel. They dont allow to eat combo in the restuarant its only take away. They parcel whatever they want thinking that no body will raise this issue... for me this resturant doesn't exist in the list now.

Visited Zaiqa yesterday on 15/07/2016. We had a 2for1 voucher, so we decided to give this place a try not expecting much.<br/><br/>Our first impression was dull as we felt the furniture and look of the restaurant was a bit worn out and the place needed renovations quite badly.<br/><br/>We ordered fish tikka and mutton seekh kebab for starters. The mutton seekh to our suprise was so delicious, juicy and succulent we loved it very much it was worth the 29.dh cost. Unlike we have had before. We really liked the fish as well it was cooked well.<br/><br/>For main course we had mutton nahari and chicken jhangiri. We really loved the nahari, it was full of taste and the mutton cooked so soft it melted in our mouth. The chicken was a bit undercooked though the gravy was tasty.<br/><br/>Overall I would give ZED 3.5/5<br/><br/>They need to work on the restaurant look.<br/><br/>I would highly recommend the mutton dishes. ZED knows their mutton.<br/><br/>We will come back here with our family:) as we have more 2for1 vouchers to use😀

Visited on 14 July for lunch with colleagues. Had a buffet lunch. The spread was kind of good. Had various choices of Tikka, Mutton Sheekh kabab. For main course I opted for mutton nihari with roti. I loved the nihari. Dessert was firni which was also good. Over all had a good experience for the amount we paid with a promotion coupon.<br/>However the airconditioning system was not working properly.

We were already upset with this treatment and could not wait any longer so skipped dessert and asked for the bill, which took almost 20 mins and we had to go to the counter and tell him to make it quick , but looks like people there dont care , the cashier made us wait 10 more mins just to confirm the nan and roti issue and finally we were out of that restaurant with a promise to never return

Being a Delhiite, "Dilli wala khana" is something always close to my heart. Zaika E Dilli dies comp k eye satisfaction to repentance that feeling. The buffer spread us sumptuous and delectable. The biryani, mutton preparations, the rolls...what say even the vegetarian dishes are a "die for"!!! Would strongly recommend to all authentic Indian food lovers.

I’m more of a "reviewee" than a reviewer but my recent experience at ZeD pushed me to write this review. We’ve been here once before (about 5-6 months ago) and the food though simple with a few choices, was tasty. This time round, we couldn’t wait to leave and highly doubt we’d ever be back! Completely turned off by how dirty the restaurant was. We saw at least 3 cockroaches crawling around the restaurant, floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped, swept or cleaned in a while – covered in streaks of dirt and oil and food particles everywhere. There were plenty of staff with barely a couple of diners but no one seemed to be bothered about the condition of the restaurant. Managed to get a few snaps to validate this review.

Now a days u ll find every second restaurant on the name of Delhi to create there customer base. Same thing applicable to this. I ordered daal makhani and butter naan. It was a home delivery, the restaurant is around 300 mtrs away and it took 2 hrs for them to deliver the order. Thats fine, finally i had food in my hand, as soon aa i opened the naaan are so hard that its difficult to break. Daaal was also just ok.<br/>Overall a bad experience.

Had been to the restaurant few days ago for their Buffet. They had a decent spread of non-veg starters which were not refilled frequently. We had to wait for our refills and though the staff served it on our table, it was not very pleasant to wait for everything when you have come in for a buffet! The main course was OK with only Chicken Biryani being the best of the limited Main Course they had. Deserts were ok with limited spread. The review will not be complete without a mention of the Special Shawarma they served as a part of the buffet was truly amazing. Nothing much to mention about the ambiance.<br/>Recommendation: if you are looking for affordable non-veg buffet this maybe one of your choices

I've had their buffet, and it was an okay attempt at well spiced, rich Indian cuisine. <br/>One thing I noticed was that their food was pretty spicy, but their variety and choice of dishes was pretty nice and similar to any restaurant at par with them.<br/>Neat interiors and above average service. Nihari was bad our whole experience was spoiled for mainly two things very spicy Biryani and stale Raita given along with biryani. There was no reaction even after we complained. Everything tasted so bad and I had to force myself to eat it. Highly disappointed. <br/><br/>I'm never eating from this place ever again and I will never recommend this place to anyone.<br/><br/>Totally not worth it. I wish I can rate it "0" !!

An average restaurant with over priced buffet.... We approached them once to discuss about a package for birthday party... They made us wait for long time on a working day when there was no customers, then started discussion with a pen and paper and the offer was that the price will be same as a normal customer but will provide separate space for 1 hour.... I told him that, if we really plan to conduct the party, we will just come as a regular customer and occupy the same location and spend as much time we want to spend there....<br/><br/>We stopped visiting this place due to this unprofessional approach

Its an ok place. i dont understand they have Dilli as their name and they are serving Shawarma....why is that? unless i am mistaken and Shawarma has originated from that part of the world. The signature dishes are alright. prices are on the higher side, but i dont mind paying if the food is also upto par. maybe its the interior which has raised the prices. service is quite good and friendly.

They say "If you don't suit your customers, your customers will suit themselves by going somewhere else". And that's exactly what I'm going to do. I wish there was a rating scale lower than this. It has been two hours and they have not delivered simple vegetarian food out of their menu n I stay 5 mins away from their Qusais outlet. I have called them 5 times and every time they have consoled me saying the delivery boy is in my building only n I'm left with bitter taste even without eating anything. I strongly recommend prohibiting yourself from eating here coz they certainly don't value their customers. Highly unprofessional and unethical, you can't do business with people who lie to you, Isn't it?

I had all the signature dishes of this place.. The 24 spies shawarma , dili nahri & chicken biryani. The shawarma was very nice & flavourful.. but the quantity was small.. but worth a start . Nihari was also very good but was little overpriced.. chicken biryani was ordinary & little on the oily side.. The restaurant has a very dull look..

Just finished a dinner in Zaiqa e dilli, And i admit that almost after 5 years i had authentic qorma in dubai. <br/><br/>Dilli ka Mashoor shawarma: it's not a shawarma it's some thing more than a shawarma, being spicy food lover i love the taste, the softness, every bite was so delicious so juicy that you really think this the best thing in this restaurant... But the surprise is not over...<br/><br/>Mutton Qorma: The moment i took first bite I was transported back to my country at the time when the food is served in weddings. Aroma hmmm can't expressed in words and the taste authentic qorma will give 5 out of 5 must try. Will 100% come back to taste it. And if you want to deeply judge the taste try it with the garlic naan you wont regret it.<br/><br/>Biryani: it's look like a competition between biryani and qorma. Biryani is as well Cooked and deliciously flavored as qorma. Definitely going to try there mutton biryani.<br/><br/>Gajjar Halwa: winter treat i am righting this review while enjoying this winter treat properly blended not very sweet well cooked garnished with dry fruits. Opted for the lunch buffet which was truly an excellent spread of mouth-watering genuine 'purani Dilli-style' fare. The roghn gosht in particular was prepared with typically Dilli spices and had that distinct, authentic Mughlai flavour. <br/><br/>It is reasonably priced and the buffet has a nice variety of veg and non-veg dishes. <br/><br/>A must-go for serious food lovers...

We tried mutton seekh kabab, chicken shawarma, chicken jahagiri and butter Nans. Food is OK little on the oilier side, Nans not properly cooked. Staff OK.. Service also I would say OK. The menu is over priced.

Staff is so friendly, thats it. Nothing special about food except different kind of Rotis. We had Mutton Seekh Kabab (good), Chicken Reshmi Kebab (good), Mutton Jahangir (good), Chicken Karahi (Ok), Different types of Rotis ( Good). Ambience is good. Parking No issues. Ordered mutton kadai and it was the worst kadai I ever had, it was loaded with nothing but chilli powder and the meat was rubbery. Mix grill was fine. Delivery was prompt.

My first time here and I loved the food. Decent interior and helpful staff were a welcoming sight. Dinner buffet priced at Aed 47 for someone like Cherry In Pink and myself is a great deal always. Loved everything across the selection. Biriyani was decent. Nihari, Shahi Paneer, Mutton Qorma and Malai Tikka where especially outstanding. Delhi ka Shawarma was a revelation. It was spicy, juicy and left me craving for more. One issue we both had was with Gulab Jamun. There was something off about it. It had a clumsy, lazy feel to it. <br/><br/>But all in all, a satisfactory experience and I will surely visit again. <br/><br/>And one last thing, it would have been nice to have a beverage like lassi included in the buffet to round off the experience.

Good place for buffet dinner but the menu is same constantly through day and night and days too. <br/><br/>Feel there should be some changes in the buffet menu, also feel the kind of advertisements done are not upto the mark with the taste of food. As the name say Zaiqa E Dilli, there are somethings which doesn't really makes me take the Zaiqa of Dilli but there is one thing to have there and it is their Dilli Shawarma.

So I had Been to this place couple of months back. We had nahari, chicken tikka and some chicken rolls. Nahari did not taste like the dilli nahari at all, as we really like nahari and know how it tastes. The chicken tikka were normal like every other place but good. And roll was extremely spicy and did not taste good. So it was just a Ok experience, I was expecting alot.

I was at this place around 3-4 months ago but couldn't find the time to write a review. Had been planning to pay a visit for quite some time after hearing their radio ads and passing by many times. <br/>It was a weekend and this place was crowded. Plus their seating is also very cramped up but that is probably the case with most of the desi restaurants anyway. <br/>The food was really wonderful. Loved their Biryani and butter chicken! The mutton kebabs, chicken boti and fish were also nice. The Nihari was not up to the mark, Korma and Chicken Noorjahani were fine. Not having any choice in the roti was disappointing as were are used to a variety of Roti, naan and paratha options in buffets. <br/>Overall the food was quite spicy but tasty. <br/>The choices for salads and sweet dishes is also quite limited. <br/>The popular Delhi Shawarma is not part of the buffet so couldn't try it. Will need to go back some time to try that. <br/>Overall a good experience worth trying again.

Last night finally I decided to visit Zaiqa e Dili restaurant after hearing so much about them, I must say amazing is not the word...... Starting with their shahi mutton qorma, and mouth watering butter chicken tikka masala and super delicious chicken biryani the list is endless, Excellent service with good ambience and the best part is super economical price makes the buffet best in the UAE, talk about Mughlai food and Zaiqa e Dili is the place. ................

I have to rate 1 as there is no option for -5 or 0. They want to push for buffet only. Waiter and manager not wanted call for help rather take it from buffet, pay and get last attitude. Even below review reply shows how they are rude and careless about their customers, I don't think the staff are really willing to run the restaurant. If anybody ever visited don't even think of trying it....

They serve this dinner buffet for about 40 dirhams. They serve plenty of curries. But only one bread option and one rice option. And the rice is biriyani. They do have many more breads available but the he diner should pay for them. It is naive of them to assume that one bread option is enough and no rice apart from biriyani should be included in the buffet. Or are they very greedy and want the diners to purchase food even when one is having their dinner buffet?

If there was a word to describe this restaurant it would be; mediocre.<br/><br/>The food was pleasant yet boring. But the worst thing was it was all painfully spicy. Half the food was half inedible because of the spice and by the end of the meal I was sweating buckets full.<br/><br/>Although the buffet price was reasonable and since its "all you can eat" its a good deal for iftar. But the food really didn't live upto its expecations. The malai kabab was bland and the gulab jamun was too sweet. There were faults in almost all the food and it made the meal very upsetting.<br/><br/>The ambience is alright. The servers are quite nice but their location is brilliant with ample parking which gives them a great advantage.<br/><br/>Overall very meh-ish food. Wouldn't recommend a second time. I went there for the first time tried below<br/><br/>1. Shawarma = Good<br/>2. Chicken Jahangiri = Throwed full bowl into the bin, was not worth even to put it in mouth. Horrible.<br/>3. Have tried their buffet twice and have mixed feelings. The first time was invited for iftaar and found the food and the service both good. Maybe coz I was hungry due to the fast and personalised service on the table coz one of the guests was a friend of the owners. But the second time was pretty disappointed. The qorma, Nihari and most of the other stuff was too oily and spicy. The biryani was also pretty ordinary. The desserts lacked taste as well. To top it all the service was tardy.
