Took a while to find it, but once you do, it's a pleasant surprise.<br/><br/>They have outside tables, and would recommend sitting there when the weather permits. <br/><br/>We ordered the Ottoman Breakfast - their signature Shahshouka served with cheese, honey & jam on the side; and Khameer Benedict - Pached eggs, khameer bread, spinach, hollandaise sauce, served with mixed salad on the side.<br/><br/>Quantity was right, both egg plates were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the coffee.<br/><br/>Recommended if you would like to experience a hidden gem in the middle of Mirdif.

A cheese omelet and toast that taste burnt, not toasted. Even the egg tasted that. Fresh orange juice was a little bland. Lentil soup was mediocre. I ordered here cos the prices are up there so I expected great food. Of course it's disappointing especially that it's breakfast. Anyways.. hope they do stuffs better

The regag was doughie texture<br/><br/>This is an emirati restaurant that should be proficient in the food that they are cooking.<br/><br/>I dont think I’ll come back but I do advise to skill up the kitchen. <br/><br/><br/>

It has Good decoration and low level arabic music which makes it tradational😊 we ordered foga meat i mean lamb and rice with salat and they bring laban with cucumber additional. Portions are big as we are 2 person we ordered 1 main course. Our orders arrived within 10 minutes.<br/><br/>The shakshouka came with feta cheese, olives and jam on the side. It smelled so good and tasted great as well.<br/><br/>The eggs benedict came along with some salad and the bread was khameer bread.<br/><br/>Our food was fresh and well made. The service was good. I came here today to avail the AED 25 combo offer as the Dubai Food Fest is going on. The restaurant was quite easy to find and is located behind Union National Bank in Mirdiff.<br/><br/>I started off by ordering the Veg Pasta. A bowl of Penne pasta in Pink sauce with Mushrooms and Broccoli along with some Mozzarella Cheese. The pasta was quite creamy and flavourful and was pretty good in terms of the quantity. It did take some time to be served but was worth the wait. The presentation was really on point. <br/>After that, I had the custard with almonds and blueberries. The custard was cold and was really tasty. Kudos to the chef as the almonds and blueberries gave it that extra flavour. The cold custard was exactly what was needed after the savoury and slightly spicy pasta. <br/><br/>SMAT is a restaurant with really nice and simple interiors and the servers are really nice and friendly and despite the service being a little on the slower side, the food is worth the wait and is a must visit.

Tucked away in Mirdif, arrived for iftar we were the only customers inside but that's okay we can still enjoy our meals:). The decor inside was really well put together, they had those old record players, the chairs looked like big pots it was very quirky I must say. Food was a hit and miss, lentil soup wasn't the best was quite bland or watery, samboosa was great, kofta and shakshouka was good, didnt like the threed chicken, its basically chicken stew with bread. They have some creative and unique dishes such khameer sliders. <br/>As I have tried their food several times at home, I should admit that their packaging of the food is really great and eye-catching. However, I would recommend that they would focus more on the taste of food and enhance the dishes.<br/>I like their Emirati breakfast; highly recommended. As well as don't miss the delicious Emirati desserts.<br/>

I've been to the restaurant 5 times maybe and I can say the restaurant is 7/10 , with all the competition in dubai. very sweet staff and nice interior. The service is excellent. <br/>My personal favorite is the breakfast menu(8/10) and the desserts ! You must try the brownie chebab. <br/>Smat salad - greaat ! <br/>There are some areas that need improvements in my point of view ex Karak tea and the french toast<br/>Also, the food must be more consistent every time<br/>At the end its a matter of personal taste <br/><br/>Overall its great ^_^ !!

I visited SMAT uncountable times with friends and family. We ordered Shakshoka, Rigag, Osmani breakfast, and many other meals. Every time I go there I find that the quality of the food and the service are getting better than the pervious visit. Not only that, but also the variety of the food. Its one of my favorite Emarati cosine , as the the quality of the food, the location in Mirdif near to my house and also the lack of the Emirati cosine in Mirdif covered my needs.<br/>I highly recommend SMAT for every meal.

This is my third visit to Smat.. the last visit is the best.. <br/><br/>I ordered Shakshooka, Arabic Coffee and Logaimat<br/><br/>The Shakshooka taste was nice but the biggest problem that it is very very small portion and doesn't look like the picture on the menu.. a small advice is to add veta cheese on the top of it and change the dish to make it bigger portion. Trust me, it would be amaaazing!<br/><br/>The Logaimat and Arabic Coffee is waaaaaaaw! It is very rare to find a place perfecting it, well done! Small advice to change the date syrup as it was a bit bitter.<br/><br/>Will definitely be back!

Grate place, grate people very welcoming from the door step in to visiting again. You cant have enough of the delicious haress. And the innovative mini sliders. The food in general is good to excellent. I Never ordered until now something I didn't like. The desserts is outstanding, cheese cake in a jar !!! What a creative way plus super delicious, and don't start me on the date cake, yes date cake simply awesome!!!

The Mac and cheese sliders here were amazing! Also I would highly recommend the desserts in this place. The chocolate covered fried dough, the honey cake.. you really can't go wrong!

Stumbled across this place out of sheer luck thanks to the Zomato app. I placed an order for their Khameer sliders and chicken fogeh and the food arrived on time.<br/><br/>The sliders were actually pretty good - they come with a side of fries and would highly recommend those in the neighborhood to try. The fogeh though is a pretty unique dish - the combination of rice, peas and chicken was at times a bit dry; though different from a lot of other available options. <br/><br/>All in all, they do have a pretty unique menu for the neighborhood - am looking forward to dining in and other items on their menu.

It's the first time I try Emirati cuisine and honestly it was a very nice surprise! <br/>Everything we had was very tasty, from the lentil soup to the sogeh (meat). The pomegranate juice was also made from fresh fruit!<br/>And on top of that I discovered a new saffron dessert in a jar made from a seed called sago, and it was simply fantastic!<br/>Will definitely come back, and shoutout to the service, the people there are really nice 😊

Smat was a great experience with delicious food, we went for breakfast and had the Emirati sampler and it was absolutely amazing! Loved the Arabic Coffee (Qahwa) on the table as well.

When I was told that Smat will be a restaurant that serves traditional food, I thought it'll be like every other restaurant ( nothing special). Once i tried it, i changed my mind. The food they serve has the special lovely taste of the traditional food with some modernized touch which make it too delicious to resist.

I got the ceramic done for my car just last week...It was great, they did an excellent job in n out...gave me a great deal...even helped so much with the pick up service....I didn't even have to bring them the car they came n took.....I hope it stays great in sha Allah

Extremely service oriented and courteous staff, fair priced and good quality of work.
