My friend and myself dined in at Chowking Al Ghurair Centre outlet today about an hour ago. Self have been to Chowking many times and was always pleased with the food. But today the dining experience was not so good. Overall the quality and quantity was not as good as it was before. Moreover they mistaken our take away order of Pearl Milk tea for Iced tea and we also didn't look into it thinking all was ok. <br/><br/>Anyhow it doesn't look like self will check into any of the Chowking outlets for the coming days; atleast for a long period of time. Anyhow I hope they recouperate and wish them the best for their future endeavours.

I have frequently ordered Halo-Halo with extra Milk which I usually pay for 2 aed xtra, since they dont have the key added to the menu to add xtra milk, I just put additional comment for them to see, so maybe from 5 orders, only once they got it right. And its so disappointing that always happens, I can understand if this was once. Staff clearly don’t have attention to details. Too bad.

First time ordering from Chowking. I ordered the beef lauriat. Food was excellent and tasty. Portions were big enough as well.<br/><br/>The only downside was that I didn't receive my iced tea with my order. But Zomato and Chowking really came through with their quick and efficient customer service. Chowking called me and assured me that they will add free iced tea to my next order and apologized for their mistake. I was more than pleased with their customer service.<br/><br/>Mistakes happen but what matters more is how you handle it. Well done Chowking for amazing service!

I am and will always be a Chowking Fan!!<br/>This time around they have THIS KING CHAO FAN deal. It was a lot to be shared for four persons. Their iconic Halo-halo (shaved ice dessert) never disappoints.<br/>.<br/>Also, in love with their chicken barbecue it was perfectly cooked. The glaze of the chicken was so tasty and so addictive. Definitely a must-try. Their Chao Fan Rice was also a winner. Savory and the shrimp toppings and vegetable garnishings says it all. Love it!!

Their delivery takes around an hour but the food is always still hot. What’s awesome about them is how thoroughly they package everything so they reduce the risk of spillage.<br/><br/>My favorite dish is king chaofan. It’s a sweet and spicy fried rice with shrimp and sausage and chicken. It’s so yum!

The driver is very rude. He get mad coz the number i gave he said is wrong. The mobile number i am using here is my personal number. We ordered for brunch charbroiled chicken with rice, stir fry prawns in schezwan sauce and king chao fan meal. It took them more than 1 hour to prepare and deliver our order. The chicken and rice were not cooked properly/well. We love shrimps/prawns but the prawns in schezwan sauce was hardly touched because we couldn't figure out the flavor - didn't taste schezwan at all.

Horrible experience. I ordered at 6:54 pm and my food was supposed to come at 7:54. They have 1 hour to prep halohalo, siopao, 2pcs chicken and tofu. At 7:54 i chatted with zomato to check my order and was told that i had to wait for 10-15mins more. Eventually, my food came at 8:30.. so late that the food were no longer hot.. ughh.. very late..👎

Not a good service. It took them time to deliver the food for almost 2 hrs if i didnt call no one will bring our food. They even deliver the food almost cold and they didnt even give condiments etc. the beverages included is warm also. I am living less than three minutes away from the store and it took them so much time to deliver. Bad experience.

When they heard that i wasn't satisfied with my last order (bulalo) due to most of the soup spilled outside the packaging when it arrived, they reached out to me, apologized and delivered the same order for free. This time, without any spills. <br/><br/>Miss Raya from Al Ghurair branch called me and she was so nice and knows how to handle customers very well. <br/><br/>My original order was actually 50% off and i am very happy that they still made sure that i am satisfied with their service even though i only paid half. For this, i am giving 5 stars!! ❤️

Recently ordered the Ramadan Combo Deal. Its perfect for a Family Iftar.<br/>With 8 pieces Chinese Style Fried Chicken, 1 Chopsuey, <br/>2 Chao Fan, 2 Egg fried Rice, 4 PCs Buchi, and 4 Lemon Ice Tea<br/>The Quantity is good for a family of four.<br/>We really liked the Chinese Fried Chicken it was well cooked and crispy on the outside.<br/>Kids like their Egg Fried Rice and Buchi (Sesame Balls)<br/>Chop suey was not that great..<br/>Lemon Ice Tea was refreshing and taste perfect not too sweet.<br/>Chowking's specialty is their Chao Fan. Its really tasty.<br/>Packing was perfect and there were no spils or leaks of any kind.<br/>Delivery was on quite fast and food was hot and drinks still had ice cubes in them. For safety reason we transferred the food in our own dishes and discarded the packaging.<br/>

Fried rice is oily and a bit salty. Shumai taste like microwave from being frozen. The lemon juice is too sweet. The noodles has very few meat pieces but sausage taste good. The shanghai rolls taste like re-heated because of its texture. Overall, shanghai lauriat is 2/5.

I’ve ordered for home delivery. And my order was Vegetable Hakka noodles without onions and garlic. For to make sure everything Mr Sandeep from ChowKing called me and he explained that ChowKing will use eggless noodles and my order will be completely within onions and garlic. The delivery timing was really short. Will love to order again.

My favorite Chinese Restaurant in the Philippines and here in UAE.With a great number of branches all over UAE. Pre-Valentine Date at Chowking, Al Ghurair Branch was amazing and memorable. I Recieved flowers & Chocolate while I’m Busy Taking Pictures of my meal. (I just want to share this felt some butterfly flying on my tummy that night.)

Delivery service is really popular and we could see they were really busy! Thanks to James our waiter for excellent service with a smile; friendly and efficient and helped us choose from the menu. The orange chicken is juicy and yes, orangey with a tangy taste. The fresh lumpia is full of fresh vegetables, wrapped in a kind of pancake and topped with peanuts and a sweet and sour type of sauce. Generous servings and not expensive. Well done guys, see you again soon!

Huge restaurant serving a massive menu. There is alot to choose from. Orient Chinese as its named. It was hit and miss. Some things were good rest were just blah. It lacks flavours. I had ordered nasi goreng from them in the night, the order took an hour to be delivered, food was almost cold by then. The quantity of chicken and shrimps was so less the I can still remember the exact number 2 piece shrimp, two one dhiram sized chicken sausage cut pieces. Rest was just over sauced rice. Cost compared to quality and quantity was expensive. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Charboiled chicken for long time ive been ordering this but now they downgraded their egg fried rice to steamed white rice which i dont like..For this kind of a bit pricey item should have at least remain their original menu rather than downgrading it.But overall food is ok, just a bit disappointed with the downgrade of rice

Al ghurair branch deliver was very poor. I ordered at 4pm and my order came at 7pm which really unacceptable despite that my house location was nearby. If you cant handle your delivery better to discontinue rather than annoying your loyal customer. Instead of apologizing time to time better you improve your delivery service. <br/>
