Accidentally went to have dinner after the beach and did not lose! We decided that we would eat here every evening of our stay in Dubai. Pleasant atmosphere and sea breeze, delicious food and large portions, friendly and attentive service - this is great!<br/>Absolutely incredibly delicious lobster roll, so fresh!<br/>A chocolate fondant is a real pleasure and a real orgasm! Its thinnest crisp shell and liquid viscous core is very pleasant in consistency, rich and original! Pleasant ending to dinner and day. Definitely recommend lovers of sea food and desserts!<br/>Thank you very much to all the staff for their work.

Came with high expectations, reading their board of being voted best seafood restaurant... just can’t believe who gave that rating? Food was so tangy... Tomyum soup was tasteless, no flavor. Their service was good, that’s the only saving grace. Still, the taste of the food doesn’t deserve even 1 star.

I made a reservation here for me and my boyfriend for his birthday because he wanted Lobster Thermidore, so we did 😊 We enjoyed the food, the location, and friendly staff. They even brought him lava cake and ice cream while singing him happy birthday. Price is a bit on the high side but they were ranked Best Seafood Restaurant and the lobster did taste fresh !

We had high expectations for this particular restaurant but had an ok experience. The service was great as the waiters helped us with reccommendations and explaining the dishes. We ordered some grilled lobster which was one of our faves as well as some shrimp in spicy sauce, this was ok as it lacked abit of flavour however the sauces served on our table made up for it. The main bucket was abit disappointing seeing as it was their best seller. We did enjoy it as who cant resist some fresh seafood but i guess we wanted abit more from it. The experience was great having put on our aprons and gloves as well using their gadgets to tackle our food. We would go back maybe to try other things and including the grilled lobster again.

This should be on top of the list of Best Seafood Restaurants in Dubai!! One of the most common seafood I see around are mostly malnoutished, but the seafood I have encountered here are ao meaty I just couldnt get my hands off them.. Literally I din in the sumptuous servings. By the taste of every served dish, you can tell that its prepared by real professionals. Highly recommended!!

The food was great and delicious, but quite expensive. About the staff I didn't see them to smile with us. Not so friendly. And the food was came on time except for the dessert. They told us it will be serve after our main dish but when we're done,we still wait another 10minutes for our dessert. And the toilet was on the theme concept of the resto but i didn't like it, it is clean but looks not.

I have to say, unfortunately very disappointed. Food lacks flavour. The sea food looks like it comes out of plain water. Despite the sauces it has no taste. We had the grilled oysters, the prawn cocktail, a bucket of crab, a bucket of prawns and a salad. None was exceptionally good. For a seafood place is sad that my favourite thing was the salad. Would expect more for such high prices. Service is good and the ambience is lovely.

It was a cold evening at La Mer. We spotted this restaurant at the corner neatly decked up and well appointed along with a tag that read 'best rated seafood restaurant'.. We thought we would give a try.<br/><br/>The interiors were amazing and even took a tour. We ordered Salmon fillet, king fish grill, Country fried, cripsy breaded shrimp, fish and chips.<br/>Service was excellent. Taste was very good, soft freshly baked breads and dips sauces accompanied.<br/>A bit on the pricy side, but yes the experience is completely worth it.<br/>We will consider visiting again.<br/>

Of all the A&H in Dubai I visited this one fares the lowest. Ambience was good, staff was polite. But the food was not at all upto the mark. The fish served was stale and the sauce in the bucket had a very bitter taste. It felt at times that frozen fish was used and the food was rewarmed and served.<br/>I won't recommend this branch. 3 stars because of the staff, ambience & name! Hope u guys take this as constructive feedback and work on it.

This is the perfect place for a seafood dinner after a lovely day at the beach. It is located on the Wharf and the ambience is lovely after sunset. We had a seaside seafood platter which came with the side of tomato garlic rice. We chose the grill option for the fish fillet, mussels, shrimp and the calamari was fried. The seafood was really fresh and grilled very well. The shrimp was huge,juicy and lightly sweet as it should be and the fillet was delicate. The calamari was slightly chewy but the hero was absolutely the mussels which were easy to shell and devour. The rice had a lovely burst of flavour and the accompanying lemon butter sauce super tart. Overall the portion was more than sufficient for two and we absolutely enjoyed.<br/>Our server was very gracious and helped us make a good selection.<br/><br/>

Dinner with special guests who loved the food when we visited the first location on the boat. It’s closed for refurb so came to La Mer.<br/>We had the shrimp, clams with black pepper, mussels with saffron sauce and the awesome mud crab in black pepper sauce. Disappointed there was no alcohol but the food was great. <br/><br/>We were sat outside as the weather was pleasant. Service was quick. get ready to get your hands dirty especially with the crabs.<br/>Will definitely go back but a location serving alcohol. 😃

Rather serve me a smaller salad filled with the headline ingredients - that feels generous, and will bring me back.<br/><br/>The service is adequate, not intrusive but also could be a little more attentive. Especially for the inside tables. It feels like if you’re not sitting at one of the tables outside that you are forgotten inside - this is the case both at La Mer and at The Beach in Jumeirah.<br/><br/>Inside, the shop is very very quiet - a touch of music will mean guests don’t have to all listen to each other’s conversations. <br/><br/>The venue and location are top class - stunning view and a beach situation give a real authentic feel to the brand. <br/><br/>In terms of value for money, holistically because of the little quibbles in terms of taste, the salad issues and the sometimes-inattentive service and lack of ambience, you don’t walk out here feeling the value of your money, which is sad because there is nothing wrong here at all, it just seems to miss the mark

We asked people around to find the exact location.<br/><br/>▲ Inside/Outside Decoration: Great interior design, cool things to wear while eating, two inside floors , outside area , very big, fresh and enjoyable atmosphere.<br/><br/>▲ Dishes Presentation & Taste: We ordered the famous Paella and it came in very nice presentation, and very delicious!! my friends ordered many other platters and they were very satisfied by their choices. Even steak platter was well done. My only concern was on the shrimp avocado salad that need improvement, has no taste... <br/><br/>▲ The staff: very friendly, and welcoming!

It’s my first to this lovely and delicious place, you could smell the seafood from outside while you are walking, we were welcomed on the entrance by the hostess and she guided to a nice table on the first floor with view over the beach, <br/>I ordered shrimps pomelo salad and mixed buckets with garlic chili sauce, <br/>It is really very delicious, the salad is fresh and has unique taste. <br/>You will be using gloves to eat this full bucket of shells. <br/>It is highly recommend and I will be visiting again.

Decent location, many awards as stated on their menu's and displays. Weather was great for an outdoor seafood meal. Almost on the beach, surrounded by sand. <br/><br/>The staff was lazy and greeting wasn't there. They were tired it seems and understaffed. Seats were soaked with water from previous diners wearing wet swimwear so had them changed.<br/><br/>At first wanted to order some oysters but feared from the hot weather so skipped that. <br/><br/>Mains were two salads, salmon, fried shrimps, calamari. <br/><br/>Crispy breaded shrimp: good sized shrimps, breading makes them big however the taste is great and cooked perfectly. The sauce is mostly a cocktail mayonnaise sauce that I didn't like much. Preferred them without a sauce. <br/><br/>Classic crispy calamari: tasty calamari. Fresh and tender from the inside. It's better than other calamaris i tried. Most usually are dry from the inside. This is not. And the breading is good. <br/><br/>Shrimp & avocado salad: portions are average. Cuts of Lettuce just to add volume to the bowl, shrimps are okay for a salad, like 5 pieces. The sauce I didn't enjoy at all. Didn't have a taste honestly. I would skip. <br/><br/>Seared tuna salad: the tuna is great, it was my first time trying purple potatoes, gave the bowl additional colors but not enough flavor. <br/><br/>Grilled salmon fillet: this is amazing. The salmon was smooth as butter. Cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor when salmon is cooked on point. Over cooking just destroys the flavor. Sides are baby spinach that are okay. The potatoes are good. Soft, portion is sufficient. The sauce is tasty but i just enjoyed the salmon without it... <br/><br/>In terms of speed they were somehow slow, staff were lazy, when people left the tables and plates it took them 15min to take them away, and the flies were storming the table. Had them bring burning coffee and that took another 15min, we were almost done with the food since we didn't want flies laying down on the food. <br/><br/>They closed in downtown i guess to open in la mer. Tried this place for the first time last week. The restaurant was quite busy and the server didn’t bring our drinks till we were nearly through with our main course. We ordered the grilled prawns with garlic sauce and the prawn coconut curry with rice. The curry was pretty amazing but the problem with the grilled prawns was that the sauce was hiding all the way at the bottom of the dish rendering the dish a bit sauceless and tasteless. Not a bad restaurant all in all though.

First thing first, Awesome atmosphere and ambiance. The outside sitting area is superb, surely adds on to the dining experience. The table is well equipped with fancy Hammers and crab shell cracker.<br/>We had called for the Mixed Bucket. The preparation looked good but the taste was disappointing. We had asked the sauces to be served separately, may be it is meant to be mixed with the sea creatures inside the bucket. However, it was not all that worth. <br/>The Grilled Fish Fillet came along with rice and some sauces which too could not save the day as far as taste was concerned. The best thing ordered were the refreshing drinks.

The location was good. However, I do believe the food is overrated. We ordered the calamari as a starter. The dip was really good, however the calamari was like rubber. We also had paella and the old bay blue crab boiled. The portions are good but both orders are way too bland on some part and too salty on some. It was not properly mixed. I totally agree on the service part though, because the servers are not attentive enough, you can probably skip without paying and they probably wont notice. It felt like the servers are being forced to serve us. And oh, half of our mussels are empty and the other half are really, really small. The garlics and the lemons are pretty big though. So yeah, a total let down.

I do agree that you are the best seafood restaurant till date no doubt anout that because the food here is amazing, cooked very well and taste perfect. you have mastered the amazing taste of seafood. however the only thing that put us off was the attitude and attentiveness of the staff. they were very attentive to locals, business men and european costumers. we had to catch the attention of our waiter for over 3 minutes while for the other tables she stood by them all ready to take there order any time. we noticed the table with all business men were served water while for us we were just given the glasses and did not offer to pour our water. we noticed the other table with locals were served so well staff were even smiling to them and even asking how are you. sadly we felt like we being served as a favor. sadly when our mud crabs came we were not offered aprons like the others. we did surely enjoy our food though. one waiter was nice and came to us last minute and cleared our tables. he surely saved the day, nice filipino guy from cebu. keep up the good work. he had good costumer service. unlike the ladies. overall we enjoyed just atleast teach your staff not to choose their costumers. we were ready to give her a big tip if only she had performed well.

After long time willing to visit aprons and hammers finally I came to one which is in la mer beach. I came alone so the menu was not actually for the person who wants to have lunch alone it’s more family/friends restaurants with the sharing portions. I was waiting for the server to assist me but after the long time of waiting had to ask while the server mention that everything is big portions and for sharing, was not helpful at all. I asked if they can do for me grilled shrimps the server agreed and left. In couple of minutes another server came to me with grilled calamari which I never ordered and asked to change for my order. But was not lucky enough as they server who took order came back to me saying “excuse me but this what you ordered and we can’t change”. Nice experience). I think in this kind of situation manger should be involved and even if I did wrong order (which I am 100% sure I did not and the server did not understand me well) he should offer me to change and not to argue with me. I felt upset and not comfortable in the place. The calamari btw was very testy even I do not like as much. Thank you so much chef ! After finishing of eating was waiting in purpose if the server will come to offer a desert or drink but as he did not and was so much busy talking to the colleague in the corner of the restaurant I had to call him and ask for the bill and leave. That was my experience. The concept of the restaurant is amazing and sure food as well ( could not try as much) but the management should work more with the staff and teach a bit service specially how to look after female single visitor. This how my experience was.

This is my second visit to Aprons and Hammers. What is wonderful about this place is the location, from their upper deck you have wonderful view of beach and lamer. The classy decor of the place really attracts you. <br/><br/>My first visit was not really impressive still thought of giving it a second chance. <br/><br/>We ordered for Feta cheese, avocado with watermelon something priced at 69 or 79 AED. One lobster sandwich along with one beef burger.<br/><br/>The food portion was massive but my avocado salad was missing avacado in it. It tasted well but there was more green leaves in it than anything else.<br/><br/>The burger was big and juicy but my friend didnt really liked the taste of it. I cannot comment much since my friend had it <br/><br/>My lobster sandwich had soft bread but taste was missing. The meat was bland and steamed and didnt had taste at all. The sauces in the sandwich was so less that it didnt do much to it. <br/><br/>The waiters over here are not attentive. I noticed this for the second time. I see them very active on locals table but Asian i am not sure. Both my visit i had to ask them for the bread while it was easily offered to other ppl. <br/><br/>The bill came to 235 aed. Totally not worth it.

Decided to have our Christmas Eve dinner here and we just made a great decision. Super happy tummy😍😍😍 every dish is delicious and mouth watering. Serving is more than what you've expected. Their paella says it's good for 4 pax but it's actually good for 5-6 pax! Full of seafood toppings 😍😍<br/>Food 5/5 (large serving, mouth watering, palatable)<br/>Service 5/5 (kudos to their great service! Special mention to Denny for being so approachable and all)<br/>Ambiance 5/5 (lit! Great lighting, designs and interior)<br/><br/>Highly recommended for those seafoods cravings 😍

Food served was warm and near to being cold.. Came to try the Lobster Roll, it was nice but could have been better for the price.. Fried calamari was supposed to be crispy as per the menu but soggy. Might still come back to try the seafood bucket and paella.

Great food, will definitely be coming back! Try the crab bucket.. Also, if that didn't fill you up, make sure to try the signature paella. By far the best seafood restaurant in Dubai!

Great seafood on the beach with a cool vibe, really enjoyed it. Had clams to start and mud crab for main, both were excellent, highly recommend it.

Nauseating food! Something was definitely off, as it turned our stomachs, and I was not well for two days after that horrible experience... the fish in the sea food platter was definitely not fresh, the calamari was too greasy and thankfully my kids didn’t share my food...<br/>A bad experience....

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the new Aprons and Hammers at La mer. We visited on a Friday night which is very busy however we were seated very quickly. Our waiter promptly came to take our order and the manager made a point to ensure we were comfortable as we had a little one with us. We ordered oysters to start, the quality was magnificent. For mains we ordered a crab bucket and battered fish. And for the little one mac and cheese. I was very impressed with the mac and cheese, yes i understand this is obviously not the restaurant to be criticising the mac and cheese as its not their speciality however i think it can be improved on. <br/><br/>The cr@ab bucket was great fun, it was however pricey and not very filling but its a great crowd pleaser and great fun for the kids. The provencale sauce they served was mind blowing!<br/><br/>I had the battered fish. I was sligjtlyndossapoimted by the fact that they out battered fish on a bed of lettuce. Which made the costing soggy and wet. Which sort of killed my vibe, the fish was very fresh so plus points for that. <br/><br/>We ordered 3 drinks and no desserts , our total bill was roughly around 500 dhs for 2 and half . <br/>

This restaurant is really really average. I tried the crispy calamari it was dry, and the Paella is super below standard. I am abit disappointed, need to hire more skilled kitchen staff urgently..

I visited La Mer and was walking around before deciding to eat here. Their shop looks attractive so I decided to try it.<br/><br/>I ordered the platter that has mixed seafood, it was good but the portion was not enough so had to order more, the lobster was really good but not the lobster sandwich. The sauces that come with the food were really good, I tried the lemon butter and the spicy sauce.

الاكل لذيذ و المطعم اجواءً جدًا رهيبة وشاطئية وتناسب المكان .. كنا 2 وطلبنا باييلا الحجم الصغير وشريمب باكيت 12قطعة جميعها فوق الوصف اعجبتني جدًا الباييلا كانت على طريقتهم الخاصة وليست الاسبانية الكمية راهية جدًا جدًا اذا كنتم 2 اطلب الباييلا الحجم الصغير و صحن مقبلات واحد فقط.
المحار اللي في طبق الباييلا كانت لذيذة جدًا!!
سبب التقييم بـ3 نجمات الموظفين تعاملهم بارد ناشف سموها بالطريقة اللي تحبونها الابتسامة غائبة للاسف البشاشة ليست في قاموسهم.
