I used to love their food, but now it seems they rely heavily in oil, salt, and pepper to spice up their dishes. Add to that fact that they take a long time to cook the food noting that the food is comparable to fastfood.

Very slow service! We ordered from them at 12pm. 1:30 the food's still not delivered so we called them. They said to wait for 15mins and the rider is on the way. But the food arrived after 2pm! And the chicken wasn't even hot anymore. Will not order from this branch ever again.

But I was suggested by the server, very reasonably so , to go for the offer of the same but with so many additives. In this offer, the price is still 25 dhs but it comes with Drinks, two skewers of grilled chickens, Chicken broth soup with two dimsums and an Iced tea. Unbelievable package.<br/>I was told that if you take only the Nasi goreng as a standalone item then the quantity will be slightly more. But for me , this combo offer got me totally filled up and I was happy to get so many items together.<br/>I always liked the iced tea which comes with a big slice of lemon. 4/5.<br/>The soup was lovely to start with. It's typical of SE asian cuisine and differs much with the indian subcontinental cuisines. 4.5/5.<br/>The manager personally visited my table and gave me many discount coupons of 15 dhs each of different combos of the Nasi goreng. So I have to visit again soon.<br/>Good work here.<br/>On another day, I had a combo meal from the discount coupon which had 2 buchis. There so good. Soft inside with a gooey filling and the white sesame seeds on the outer layer. Loved them.<br/>

Food was amazing feels like home but the only disappointment was the kare-kare is not allowed for delivery nor take away which is not nice.. the servers are friendly but it's ages to process our bill and when we went home we found out that the styrofoam that they put our food is broken. Very Bad service, I’m a very regular guest I’m also ordering online. But today was a very bad service me and wife come for a halo halo. We order butchi siopao asado and halo halo. I wondering why is not rush hour. My siopao and butchi arrived very quick. But my halo halo did not came. Many of the order went to table even bedside my table. I nod my head but no one recognize us. Even manager visiting only one table. When I approach him that my order did not come. And I asked for my bill and told him to cancelled my halo halo. He told that he will checked. He came back to me that they can do it for 2 mins. But we already lost our appetite. If he told us given the halo halo for a complements I would to stay. But they want me to go out the restaurant to write a complain. Thanks to management I will not never visit in this restaurant again.

This is one of the good restaurants around the area. I always come back for their korean style chicken barbecue coz it is so delicious. <br/><br/>It can get crowded during the weekend tho and orders will take time to be on your table.

Had to wait for 1 1/2 hour for an order for Jumeira 1 from Satwa branch. The Zomato customer service and I can’t even reach their contact number. Why can’t you just tell the customer that maybe there’s a shortage in riders blah blah so we’ll know that the order will be late? Bad customer service. Will never order again, will not recommend and will discourage my friends from doing so, too. Not worth it. <br/><br/>Disclaimer: Just had to put 1 star but it is really zero star for the Satwa RA branch. Sorry not sorry.

The crew who was taking my order was a bit rude. I asked if they serve pork he answered me with this. “ If I’ll serve you pork ma’am, our store will be closed.” So I asked what can he offer for the siomai flavor that is available. Was actually disappointed with their service. I could have been so rude too but I didn’t stressed it out. Place is nice. Like a regular one but too many tables and chairs. An Oriental Restaurant located at an opposite side of Al Hana Center near satwa round about.<br/>Neat, clean place with a calm ambience. With a TV screen near counter area that you can enjoy to watch when you're alone. <br/>The waiter serves us a fair service. He just put the menu on the table and leave. Cutleries was not set individually. 1 water was served but he did not asked if we needed a glass. Manager is visible in the counter area. But did not check its guests. <br/>The food was excellent. Asado siopao was served hot, with a sweety filling inside, off white bun that just right for the sauce. Halo Halo is the best so far in UAE. The sweetness is just right, you can really indulge its flavors.. <br/>Over all it satisfy our cravings.. I will definitely let my friends try chowking as well.. <br/>

Ordered bbq lauriat for lunch. i think its an average. i sat down and notice that the table was dirty, flies are flying over and the dining is big with only one staff (understaff maybe, so i consider). The food was okay, it came on time, tasty as usual but the rice is undercooked i guess (still hard).

There are not one but two ChowKing restaurants in Satwa; one opposite the Iranian Hospital, and this one, just off Satwa roundabout, opposite the Al Hanaa Centre. ChowKing is a Pilipino chain of Asian fast food restaurants. It’s owned by the same group which owns Jollibee. And with that useful bit of information behind us, we can move on to the fact that ChowKing also serves breakfast, which is what I was there to have.

Why would you accept an online delivery if you don't have a delivery boy? It took you two lonnggggg hours to deliver my order with no compensation whatsoever! There was no call in between from any of the branch or your call center to apologize for the late delivery. I am angry, I am so angry in fact and I will never order online or dine at all. If you want to eat something not only different but also yummy in reasonable prices then our selection priority must be this branch. Chowking is serving best Filipino food . To start with, we ordered a Chicken Siomai which is a dumpling. The chicken was well cooked and it had a nice taste to it. It was served with a spicy chili oil.<br/><br/>For main, the Nasi Goreng and a chicken schezwan stir fried noodles. The rice in the nasi goreng wasn't as sticky as I'd usually find it elsewhere, but it was delicious. The noodles looked tempting, but didn't taste all that great. The chicken in this felt a bit stale. For the drinks, we had a 'Nai Cha' which is iced milk tea. We loved this one. It has got some pieces of jelly in it too.<br/><br/>Detailed review on the blog.

I was craving for Filipino comfort food. I initially thought of going to Jollibee but later decided for Chowking instead. I ordered chicken bbq meal and 2-pc fried chicken. The estimated delivery time was 90 minutes. For a fast food joint, this did not sound fast. Good thing though, the food arrived in a little over 40 minutes. <br/><br/>The chicken bbq was delicious. It had that very Filipino ketchup-based bbq flavour that I was accustomed to. The chicken was marinated and grilled well. It was soft, juicy and with strong bbq flavour. It brought back memories of home but at the same time longing for its pork cousin. The fried chicken was equally good. While belonging to the same company as Jollibee, Chowking's fried chicken was distinctly different. The crispy skin was where the similarities end. Chowking's version had a more Asian flavour to it with the use of soy sauce and other Asian condiments in the marinate. It had bolder and richer flavours. Its taste was more familiar and closer to the ones my mom cooked at home. <br/><br/>I'm glad that I decided to order from Chowking. Not only was my craving satisfied, my palate was also able to go down that memory lane.

My last visit we ordered congee.... presentation is nice one of my favorite everytime I went to Chowking, but suddenly I was dissapointed when I found the chicken is not well cook, good thing staff noticed me that I'm not comfortable with my food and they took the chicken back to the kitchen to inform the chef, then the manager went to our table to say that the chicken is cooked, I'm expecting that he will come to apologize but a surprise he insist that the chicken is cook even obviously I can saw from the color that is little bit pink instead of white. Service we found active and friendly.

A very good place of East Asian delicacies. I have tried many dishes from Chowking as I have eaten from here on numerous occasions. Hakka noodles is one of the dish I always order. Nasi goreng, Crispy beef, seafood platters, gulaman drinks and halo-halo ice cream are also my favorite. <br/><br/>The restaurant is very easy to find out and a big car park is available behind this. <br/><br/>The service is brilliant and the restaurant is spacious as well. The prices are very reasonable. A perfect place for both small and big groups. Will surely keep going back, and try new dishes.
