After watching for more than a decade, I ventured in recently and found it to be a child friendly fun place. Artificial rainforest is created inside with figures of different animals like gorilla, monkeys, snakes, etc. They have the back of the huge Aquarium also. Lots of mysterious jungle sounds make up a nice atmosphere.<br/>Service is slightly temperamental. They have a nice colourful menu. Large varieties of items on offer. Tex mex is more.<br/>Tariff is slightly premium which may be justified with the special ambience. Even the table cloth and the menu is also designed to look like a rumble in the jungle.<br/>I ordered a fish and chips, at 79 dhs. Few fillets of white fish with thick cut good quality chips. Amount is satisfactory. Taste is good. The coleslaw was excellent.<br/>Overall an enjoyable place for the family and can be visited occasionally if the price is within budget.

It’s our 3rd time we are celebrating our anniversary here we are so much in love with their amazing theme and decor unfortunately so many years no change in menu same limited option for vegetarian dishes and this time I was more disappointed as taste were not that great compared to last year. Portion is American size one dish is enough for 2 ppl so try their pasta... Nachos u can avoid. I hope they will extend their menu with some lower price dishes with good taste

I went to Rainforest Cafe with family and I was very impressed with the decor. We felt disconnected from the mall and it is a nice place for kids. The service was great and the staff was friendly. However, the food was not good. This is a pricey place with entrees priced between AED 82-250. However, the customer service and quality of food leaves much to be desired. <br/><br/>I suppose most of the patrons come to the place because of its Rainforest theme, and the staff knows that, which is why zero effort is put in the food or customer service. I wasn’t expecting this because I’ve been to a Rainforest Cafe in the US, where the food was great and service was excellent. <br/><br/>At this place the food is bland and tasteless. The kids left everything. Also, I’ve seen better customer service at food courts. When we asked for plates, the server simply left a pile of plates on our table. The food was served sloppily, and the server was unfriendly and curt. <br/><br/>When I was speaking to one of ppl at the reception asking where the staff had parked our stroller, he spoke to me all the while without lifting his eyes from his computer screen, not once making eye contact. <br/><br/>All in all, the visit was a complete waste of money, and we don’t plan on going here again.

It is my daughter’s birthday today and she loves the ambiance that’s why we are having our diner here. I am writing this review at the moment right after eating. The staffs are not very nice, not accommodating at all. I wonder if they treat locals or other nationalities the same or just because we are Filipino. We asked if they have complimentary cupcake or something to put on the candle where my daughter can blow, they said NO we dont have, u can order this (dessert) if you want. Ok so i ordered ice cream but the server said “we have but it’s 15 Dirham per scoop (with a face of like “it’s expensive you might not afford it” ) and showed me the picture of cheese cake instead “ this one is 35 dirham”. I said “my daughter wants a chocolate ice cream. Another lady said “u can order ice cream sandwich so its easy to put on the candle. And once again i said “my daughter wants chocolate ice cream”. It’s so sad because we like this place and been eating here since 2011.

Had Heard a lot about this place so thought to give a try .. A good place to take your kids if they haven't been - the theming is quite impressive and the place comes to life intermittently with animatronics and lights! <br/><br/>Just a little warning to the younger ones: the dark forestry might freak you out, especially during their jungle moments where a rumbling ambient sound is played and all of the animals come alive.<br/><br/>Service is good and the wait staff were quite attentive. We went to this restaurant as it promised different ambience and proximity to the aquarium. And it didn’t disappoint. The menu is extensive and expensive. The place is affordable if you have zomato gold. Their portion size is huge. Please keep that in mind before ordering. One dish is more than enough for two people. We got greedy and ordered the chicken flatbread and rasta pasta. And a raspberry ice tea to wash it down. The food was delicious. Nothing to fault there. Loved everything about it. Also the aquarium view is great. Recommend this as a date place too!

I did not really enjoy Rainforest cafe. <br/>A very interesting concept indeed, definitely recommend it if you have to take kids out but it was really not my piece of cake. <br/>We ordered Parmesan chicken and spinach Fettuccine. <br/>Parmesan was pretty average and the spaghetti served with it was flavorless.<br/>Spinach fettuccine was pretty decent but the shrimps were not seasoned at all. <br/>Overall, not the bets place for anyone over 12 ! And I did not very much like the service.

We were a group of 10 adults and 7 kids for the iftar there. The interior is fascinating specially if u love nature. Kids loved it. The staff is excellent. Very helpful and pleasant. The food is average. The setup for buffet was not ideal at all. It was crowded and lil bit unorganized in all honesty. The variety of food was average. Staff was kind enough to inform us to prepare and bring the food to table as they expected crowd near the iftar time. Line was already long for the buffet. Food was warm and by the time it reached our tables it was cold. Not many options for kids except spaghetti and cheese samosa maybe. We brought this to the attention of the staff who then were kind enough to send fries and nuggets for the kids. And that's where food quality then didn't matter. I have always mentioned in my reviews that how important is the staff behavior even if the product is below average as long as service is good. They get 4 from me not for the food as I find it very average but for the service.

I visited with a large group of mummies daddies and kids included recently. A little overwhelming to say the least, particularly for some of the younger children, as they were a little terrified of monkeys, tigers and snakes jumping out at them, but the older children loved it! <br/><br/>The service was particularly great, we were provided our own area away from other tables. Each one of the staff were efficient and seated us down and took our orders straight away. The food and drinks arrived in good time. And we were taken good care of from the friendly staff. <br/><br/>The only let down was the food I’m afraid. A lot of the guys from our group were somewhat disappointed with their dishes, which lacked flavour and could have been better. I ordered the chicken with rice as per the staffs recommendation which I’m glad I took, as you can’t really go wrong with grilled chicken and rice; although satisfactory. <br/><br/>I think overall it’s great for older children, but not the younger ones as many of them were petrified, and it was a little overwhelming for the mummies and daddies as there was lot was going on in the rainforest!

The zomato gold is definitely taking me places. Today we decided to explore the Rainforest cafe at Dubai mall. The place is amazing for its ambience and setup like a safari. They have very well recreated a rainforest and animatronics to suit. The Dubai aquarium on one side adds to its beauty. This place is definitely gonna keep kids entertained. We tried the sirloin steak and amazon fajitas chicken. The steak definitely gets a special mention form my side. The spread was quiet huge. As the name implies, Rainforest has a dazzling forestry ambience. The animals give a attention gripping animation after every few minutes. Its the best place for families with kids. Expect a noisy dinning experience since you are in the forest full pf animals. Pun intended. <br/>As for the food, our experience was lukewarm. We ordered sirloin steak which was good but the full Ribs were not upto the mark. Ribs were very chewy which is unlikely as they are very soft and saucy.<br/>The service was good.<br/>Prices are fair if you have Entertainer or Zomato gold. <br/>

We had breakfast last week at this place. The best thing about this place is the jungle themed ambiance. If your kids are into animals, then this is a must eat! The jungle animals and the Tiki decor are set into motion every 15 minutes which leaves guests entertained. If you have kids, you can eat your food in peace because i guarantee you your kids will be distracted by the animals and the mascot. The food servings are large - we ordered 4 items and the 5 of us couldn't finish it. The manager gave my smallie a balloon as she was throwing a fit. <br/><br/>I'd have easily given it a 5 if not for the following - <br/><br/>a. the prices are too steep - e.g. their sandwiches you can get same from Paul's at a fraction of a price, the waffles/pancakes you can get from Ihop or other breakfast places cheaper. <br/><br/>b. upon bill out, the waitress asked if we're giving a tip. i would, but i prefer not to be asked. <br/><br/>c. they closed the access to the Dubai Aquarium, although you can still see it but not up close as it used to be.

Exceptional customer service. Great food, tried the shrimp platter. Special shout out to Richard for being extremely ambient and friendly. Gave perfect clarification to our questions and we even got free dessert!<br/>Also a special shout-out to Jerrick for the most amazing magic I have ever witnessed! Brilliant performance, will leave you baffled for sure !

The Ramadan Iftaar had a good standard of food and reasonable choice. There are seating areas for small and large groups with many exciting sites to see for the little ones. Staff were very helpful however the large numbers of people and overcrowding was a real problem. Cueing for food was not well organised and took too long in a very small space. I would advise coming outside of Ramadan times to benefit from a less chaotic experience, I shall go back for their buy one get one free breakfast voucher issued with our bill. Kids will love it and anyone in Dubai mall should stop by to take a look. The animal themes and animated sights are good for kids but under 11 years old, older kids may find it boring.

We really had fun eating at Rainforest cafe! Jerrick doing the magic tricks while we were waiting for our order, really entertained us and we were beyond amazed. James were accommodating with our orders. Overall, the staffs were great!

Cheap food looks like frozen and it's terrible.<br/>we ordered salmon and rainforest hamburger.<br/>Salmon was tasteless no sauce no spices and their vegetables as well..The hamburger was so oily and not grill cooked. expensive price tag..The venue itself is nice enough but all noises scared my kids. I will never go back..

The ambience of the place is amazing. It's really like a rain forest vibes inside and cosy. Every fifteen minutes the animals start moving and a lightning. There was a guy who came to our table to show us some cars tricks. We ordered the hockery chicken, rasta pasta and appetizer platter. The food was just okay, nothing great. Portion size is not large. It's a one time go to experience the vibes.

Unexpectedly exciting. The ambience is vibrant and fun, really gives you that rainforest feel, our here in the desert. We had someone show us some magic card tricks, which had us in stitches! That helped the time fly by. We ordered the appetiser tray and grilled chicken. I enjoyed the appetisers, but the grilled chicken was quite bland and difficult to chew. I'd definitely recommend a visit :)

Had dinner at this famous chain of restaurants. Ordered appetizer platter (tortilla chips, chicken rolls, chicken tenders and cheese sticks), pepperoni pizza, hotdog and ribs, steak and shrimps trio.<br/><br/>Very unique environment, every 15 mins the animals move with sound, every 30 mins there is lightning show. We had our eyes on this place ever since we visited The Dubai Mall the first time. My elder one loved the restaurant and was amused by the the interiors and the complete jungle setup. One of the best place to take your kids too ! Food wise it’s not that great! Lack of flavours for the dishes we ordered, but then it’s all about the theme ! I am giving all the 4 Stars for the theme of the restaurant, and every 30 mins or so there is a light and sound show that will surely entertain a kid as well us !

It's all about the theme!<br/><br/>The setting is awesome especially if it's your first time. The rainforest themed setting is very well done and real.<br/><br/>We liked the setting more than the food. The food is American diner style. Pastas, grilled chicken and the likes.<br/><br/>The kids love the experience. They have a birthday celebrations area too.<br/><br/>Get a table near the aquarium so you have a double whammy.<br/><br/>It is an expensive place. The food is a 2.5 while the setting is 4!

My visit to Rainforest was a little less than perfect because although the ambience was amusing, the food wasn’t that good. The presentation, ambience, service and shakes were just perfect, but the food lacked flavors. Maybe I am more habitual to the spiciness of Indian Food, but still I expected more because all the other places in Dubai had delicious food.

Rainforest is one of the most unique resturants I have ever been too, they have decorated the entire resturant in a way that you actually feel you are in a forest. One of the best places to take your kids to, great food, great quality and the best thing is you can use the entertainer voucher here too. I love it, it is inside Dubai mall. Highly recommended.

I love the food - portions are huge - but the best part was Jerrick with his magic tricks ! I also enjoy the rainforest atmosphere. Now the bad - 1) some tables had dirty seats - like we had to move 2 times cause the chairs had food on them from previous customers... <br/>And 2) I asked for my food as a take away - a plate which included a huge amount of Guacamole and a lot of cheesy paste. NONE OF WHICH WAS PUT OMG DO YOU EVEN KNOW THE DISAPPOINTMENT I HAD WHEN I OPENED THE BOX? Like you can’t eat this food with no sauce! And there was A LOT of sauce and Guak left 😭

The food is tasty. The staff are incredibly friendly. The staff members Jerrick - the magician and Jerlyn - the server were nice enough to entertain us with magic tricks until our food arrived. The only thing I didn’t like were the constant flashing when the animal show is on.

We went here 3 weeks ago and had the most disappointing experience ever. Ordered Pastalaya which contains shrimp and chicken as per their menu. When the dish arrived, we took a bite and and soon after, we realised it had beef too in it. We do not eat beef for religious reasons and are always cautious while ordering food. This was a huge deal for us because we havent eaten beef all our life. As soon as we pointed it out to the waitress, we were told Pastalaya always has beef and it is mentioned in the menu. We asked to see the menu again and it obviously wasnt there. She hesitantly offered to change the dish but did mention that she should have been informed that we dont eat beef. I spoke to the Manager and he was quite apologetic and promised to have the menu changed because he agreed beef is something that not everyone eats and should be mentioned in the description. Well I am writing this review only today because its been over 3 weeks and the menu hasnt been changed yet (atleast online). This shows how serious they are about it!

Love the unique ambience at rainforest cafe. It's my children's most favourite place for eating at Dubai mall. The food however tastes average, nothing special. We really love the tomato soup served there.

Last time I came here the food was pretty good if the service a bit slow! Definitely overpriced but considering you’re more likely going to this cafe for the ambiance and decorations rather than the actual quality of the food it’s really to be expected.

A great place to for a truly wild experience. Unique view of the Dubai aquarium from inside. Lot of robotic animals add to the experience! Great place to take the kids! They accept Zomato gold which makes it an economical deal. The food and service were pretty good as well! Chances are you would be totally engrossed in your surroundings the first time around. More detailed review when I go next!
