I had gone to the al seef branch on a date and the atmosphere and view was good but it was a hassle to find a parking and then walk to the place. The shisha was pretty good and drinks were fairly priced but the food wasn't that great at all. We ordered the pizza as it is easy to eat but it wasn't good or fresh.

Kailash Parbat is one of the best multi cuisine vegetarian restaurants. Located in the busy lanes of the famous Meena bazaar with ample parking space right in front of the restaurant, this restaurant can easily be considered as a "Hidden Gem" We tried some of their signature dishes and must say every dishes we tasted here was top notch. Started with the Mushroom Cappuccino Soup, it mixed with Exotic herbs and topped with fresh cream. The garnishing of Cinnamon powder took to one level up on taste. Drumstick & Pepper Rasam Soup an authentic South Indian Rasam cooked with the choicest Indian Herbs. The Ground pepper made it very nicely favoured. For starters we tried Paneer Peshawari Tikka, panner marinated & stuffed with Cashew & Chilli paste in a saffron base marination and grilled to perfection. Chow Chow Mushroom is a stir fried crispy Mushroom and Paneer in Hakka style. Excellent taste and very nicely prepared. This dish we will not get anywhere in Dubai. We also tried their Crispy hot hot Medu Wada. This was very crispy and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Their Mango Pani puri is the talk of the town. Made with a very nice pani of Mango base. Chole Bature was also outstanding, they have varieties in the Bature. We tried the Methi Batura, Paneer Batura & Regular Batura. No words to describe, can only say Simply superb. For drinks we ordered for the Anti inflammatory Tonic & Morning Glory. Both are cold pressed juices, all the fresh ingredients used made it a very nice refreshing drink. Very healthy too. This is a must for everyone visiting this place. They have a wide range of Desserts too, we tried their best seller Malai Kulfi which was dipped in Rabdi. Ended the scrumptious meal with a cup of Masala Chai. Very nice taste and a good finale to a very nice evening.

In the middle of the hustle and bustle of Meena Baazar, you will spot the all-time local favourite restaurant, Kailash Parbat. It is usually packed over the weekends for dine-in and takeaways as this Indian restaurant is popular for its thali and street food. Like any street food lover, we started off with the pani puris. The presentation was fun as the sweet and spicy chutneys were served in test tubes. The pani puris were power-packed with flavours. We tried their popular Special Thali which is the North Indian Thali. It is served with rice, vegetarian dishes and 1 dessert. It is safe to say that this dish is quite filling but definitely scrumptious. Although the place can get packed and loud, it is a fair joint to visit for a North Indian Thali.

Extremely Disappointed with their cheese fondue... Firstly...it was served with normal sandwich bread instead of boiled vegetables And secondly the fondue itself tastes horrible. Would not recommend this dish to anyone And suggestion....if the restaurant cant change the dish please mention in the menu that its serves with bread so people know what your dish is.

Looks like KP is doing cost cutting due to Coronavirus. The last time we had their KP executive thali we enjoyed every element of it. Right from starter to the kulfi. But this time the quantity and quality were both saddening. The biryani and the kulfi were nowhere close to what we had last time. Moreover, they had to cost cut to such extent that the air-conditioning was shut and had to be reminded twice to put it on since it was getting stuffy. So much for a brand name. In the times of coronavirus when people fear to move out and eat atleast respect the customers that come to your restaurant.

The restaurant is situated in the heart of Meena Bazaar. Had ordered a ghee roast, mysore masala, dalrice, sizzlers and gnocchi. The dosas were upto the mark, but the paneer shashlik sizzler was tasteless and the paneer in the dish was bitter surprisingly. The white sauce gnocchi was bland and the pieces of gnocchi were large. They took longer to serve the dal rice then any of the dishes. The ambience is good but the food is not worth the price.

Ruining an nice evening is the result my parents experienced yesterday after visiting this hotel 23/12/19. Ordered for 2 dosas and waiting a good amount of time they received only 1 dosa for two!!! Being an human compromising is always a part of our life. They also felt the arrogance and rude attitude in the face of waiters after requesting for warm drinking water just to drink!! Waited again a while and still no sign of positive response to have some water even-though waiters are standing they decided to leave the place. Does anybody prefers to have chilled water in this winter season? Asking warm water is an common practice.. As a common family we shall never take a visit nor recommend this hotel to any one. Thanks!

If you want to have south indian food then please avoid ,masala dosa was half done and cut into pieces and when i asked the staff he said we serve it this way in a rude way... dosa was horrible and the service of the staff including the manager is pathetic... better get a training done on how to speak to the customers. Sometimes all we need is our comfort food. Sometimes it can be late at night. Sometimes it's at the back of your house. That's how we reached Kailash Parbat in Meena Bazaar. The ambience of the restaurant is good with 2 levels of seating area. The service was quick. We ordered for Veg. wontons, Fried Rice , Manchurian with Gravy and Pista Falooda. The wontons was recommended by the order taker and was genuinely good. If you are from Mumbai you would also know that they are known for their Falooda's. We ordered for their Pista Falooda which was absolutely delicious. Our total was approximately Aed 80 + Vat 5%

Every time when I visit the restaurant, the service was horrible. Staff will only come after multiple calls... At one point, I thought they are giving me a free food. So I have to wait in the queue.. Taste of the food was ok... I asked thali that was not available, so adjusted dinner with snacks- chole bhatura and amritsari kulca...The taste was okay. However, the presentation of gol gappy and even the taste was awesome. Management should really do something about service and food. I personally do not feel the food was value for the money. Please take it as feedback to improve... thanks

We had visited their meena bazaar branch which was very crowded for weekend and had to wait around 15 to 20 mins for our turn . Finally on getting our table for 2 we ordered for some chaats initially which was the sindi style chaat that tasted average and for the main we had the amritsari choley kulcha and Malaysian spicy noodles . Everything tasted average nothing great about . As we expected much more tasty food seeing other reviews but food was okay . Staff was not much interested in serving us well as they never showed up to check upon us until we had to call them over and ask about the best food among as it was our first visit , Still they had nothing as such to recommend. We just randomly ordered . Overall the food was okay .

Staff requires lots of training, cleanliness, no cutlery provided on the table and quality of the cutlery also very poor. Staff can not remember which order is for which table. Confusion all the time. In food We ordered Normal Chole Bhature, Paneer Chole Bhature and Burrito Supreme. Taste of Chole was very average. Also in terms of quantity of Chole was less. Burrito was so bland and dry.

This restaurant felt like typical tourist trap, specially Indian. Extremely dirty, specially at the entrance. One of the attendants at the lower level was openly eating and sharing Gutkha that is banned in the UAE . Imagine talking to someone with mouthful of that carcinogenic substance in their mouth. Horrible choice as an eating place and I could just imagine the state of kitchen from the scene.

Pathetic food, pathetic staff and service, and owner is also very rude... We ordered thali and the reality was so different from the description... thali said biryani/pulao, they gave us plain rice, that too was not fresh, plain Dal instead of daal makhni and when we complained staff and the manager were not even ready to talk. When we called the owner he responded in a very rude way. A simple sorry would have helped...instead of empathising he was intimidating .. and very rude

Visited this restaurant over the weekend for lunch. Located in Meena Bazaar, Bur Dubai area. This is a pure veg restaurant with a global twist. Other than Indian cuisine, they have Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai cuisine as well. We tried their Pav Bhaji and KP Executive Thali. The dishes are quite filling and tasty. The Thali comprised of 2 chapatis/rotis, pulao/biryani, papad, dahi, 3 veg, Dal, chaas, kulfi. The veg dishes were good and went well with the chapatis. Good food. Comfortable ambience. Will surely try the other dishes.

I was craving for CRISPY masala dosa, while ordering I clearly mentioned I need it to be crispy. Waiter asked if I need masala inside dosa or out, I mentioned anything is fine but I need it crispy. When they placed the food, I was so disappointed by the way it looked (Dosa was cut into pieces and flat), it was soggy and masala was bland. My second worst experience in this restaurant.

Overall ambience, quality of food and service is great however last night's experience was not expected from a quality restaurant. We went for dinner and it was late in the night and ordered palak kofta. Apparently the stock was finished and they served some other kofta which was available. If some item on the menu cannot be served at a certain time the customer should be informed about it instead of just serving what's available in the kitchen. It has become a standard practice from the service staff to just apologize which is more annoying as this was done knowingly. Extremely disappointing.

The restaurant says it is open and serving everything on the menu when you call them at 5:00 PM. When you reach there they serve you Chaat and basic stuff. I asked for a masala papad and they said they don’t have to guy who makes it. It is basically a chaat with onions, tomato and coriander and a basic papad. Don’t run a restaurant if your basic chefs can’t make masala papad. Please be honest about the food you serve at what time. Just to attract customers don’t say yes. It was embarrassing as I took guests along before their flight to eat here and they didn’t serve anything despite saying they would.

This place is right in the center of Meena Bazaar. The name speaks it for all the amazing food they serve. The ambiance is really simple and good place to visit with family and friends. The staff is good and are quick at taking orders. Sometimes due to too much crowd mostly during weekends the service is a little slow. Their Chaat items are really good. I am Sindhi so tried their Sindhi Curry, Sai Bhaji and Chawal. It was very good and tasted just like our home food. For desserts must try their Rabdi with Jalebi Overall - 4 Stars

A multi-cuisine restaurant! I had heard about this Indian restaurant that serves international cuisines and I had to visit it! We visited Kailash Parbat, in Meena Bazar, Bur Dubai for a weekday lunch. It is very spacious and there is seating on the ground floor and first floor. Here is a review of what we ordered: 1. Beverages: Ganga Jamuna, a mix of orange and sweet lime juice was fresh and tasty. The Bahubali milkshake was also tasty - it consisted of dry fruits and dates blended together. 2. Chaat: The ragda of the ragda pattice was tasty. The pattice had bread and potato in it, unlike the usual potato pattice. The chaat platter was delicious - it consisted of bhel puri, papdi chaat, dahi puri, sev puri and pani puri. The puffed rice can be more fresh though. 3. Chinese dosa: It was nice, although there were no vegetables with the noodle stuffing. The accompanying sambhar and chutneys were tasty. 4. Quesadillas: They were very filling and the accompanying sauce with beans and corn was delicious. 5. Penne paprika: Although this was presented well, there was too much sauce in it. The pasta could been more towards the al dente side. 6. Desserts: The ras malai was tasty, the milk can be thickened a bit more. The jalebi rabdi was superb and presented differently from the usual. The staff is obliging and polite but needs to be more alert. The ambience is really good. Paid parking is available, but it depends on which part of the day or week you are visiting. Tucked away in the busy area of Meena Bazaar, this place serves some delicious Indian food. I was here one afternoon for lunch. The interiors are fancy ample seating space. While you would wonder where the place is, they have a sprawling seating on the first floor of the restaurant. The service is decent. We started our meal with a Katori Chaat and Pani Puri. I would certainly recommend these, they were fresh, full of flavor just how they are supposed to be. I was here with my little one and I ordered for a Palak Khichdi for her. This one was excellent, so good that I actually got the left over packed and had her eat it later. We were recommended the Kailash Parbat Special Chole Bhatura from the House Special Dishes that is served with plain, methi and cheese bhatura. This one was brilliant with perfect flavors and the special bhaturas only adding to the taste. We also had the Pav Bhaji Fondue. While this is served in a special way, the bhaji is creamy and cheesy and overpowers the taste of the masala itself. In the mains we called for the exotic Vegetables in burnt garlic sauce, a Hong Kong Noodles and a Spicy Malaysian Pot Rice. For a vegetarian restaurant serving Indo Chinese food I must say they do a great job. We ended the meal with freshly fried hot Jalebi served with Rabri. A perfect ending to a heavy meal !

Recently tried this place starting with the pani Puri which was good. One should try the Sindhi delecacies here like the bheen ke pakode, aloo tuk etc. we had the chole bhatura which was somehow average, the cheese masala dosa was regular stuff. The koki was nice accompanied with creamy dahi and so was the sev ki barfi. Service is very good!

If you thought Kailash Parbat is only about Good Indian Food then you're gravely mistaken! We tried Italian, Chinese and Indian-Fusion and all of them were finger licking good! Located In Meena Bazar, this place is pretty crowded most of the times (I don't blame them, the food is excellent!) It's not just the food but thr overall experience that makes you feel like visiting them again. The staff is friendly yet professional, the prices are really low and the food is delicious. The ambiance and decor is very delightful, slow relaxing music was playing which really added to the experience of fine dining. for drinks we got mango lassi and it was very delicious perfecy for summer days. we ordered the Sindhi thali which has amazing pulao, dal, lotus sabzi rice, kari, daal abd chappati and papad but the highlight of the dinner was cheese veg pakora it was very delicious. we also tried the chole batura which came with 3 kinds of baturaa, orginal, paneer and methi all of which were nice hot and round. choley were also very yummy. There is a Sindhi in me, which gets excited when it finds any dish related to the said cuisine. I find immense joy when an eatery serves something that makes me feel at home, where chefs cook just like my mom. For me, it's something that naturally brings a smile on my face. In Meena Bazar, Kailash Parbat brings to you vegetarian food, that satiates the tummy, soul and heart. They have an array of dishes to offer, ranging from North Indian, South Indian, to Italian, and a lot more. Their ambiance is beautiful and spacious. Furniture neatly set out, well - lit and elegantly set up. I was invited here for a tasting session, and I met Mr. Sachin and his team, who were absolutely courteous and polite. For the drinks and food, we ordered the following: Pomegranate juice: freshly squeezed, this juice was served in a tall glass, and was revitalizing and sweet. Passion cooler: very refreshing and served chilled, this drink was a mix of lemon and passion fruit, and had a good blend of the said flavours. Definitely a must try! Pani puri: came cycling to us, all the way from the kitchen, these crispy and crunchy spheres had a filling of soft, spiced, mashed potatoes. Served with meethi chutney and teekha paani, this dish was mildly spicy and flavourful. The teekha paani was well made and just perfect! Samosa chaat: this mouthwatering dish was very delicious. The samosa was so tasty, and it was topped with sufficient amount of chick peas, creamy yogurt, chutney and other relevant ingredients. It was a little zesty, mildly spicy and flavoursome. Undoubtedly a must try! Sabzi kebab platter: a platter consisting of different kinds of vegetarian kebabs, such as two kinds of paneer tikka, mushrooms, potatoes, baby corn and cauliflower. All these appetizers were perfectly cooked in tandoor and they had a smooth texture. Their marination was subtly spicy, full of flavours and toothsome. The paneer were very tender, the potatoes (my favourite) had a crispy outer layer and a soft inner layer. The tiny, soft discs of mushrooms were excellent, and the cauliflower and baby corn were adequately soft and yummy. Seyal bhaji: being a Sindhi myself, I was proud to find out that they make this dish just like an authentic Sindhi homemade dish. Lotus stem (bhee), potatoes, peas and paneer were cooked together in a semi - dry gravy. It was cooked to perfection with moderate amount of spices and essential condiments, and it was subtly spicy and flavoursome. Surely a must try! Dal bhukhara: black lentils cooked with kidney beans. This was delectable, and provided a very homely feeling to the appetite. No butter or cream, this dish was very light to palate, mildly spicy and delectable. Just right in consistency with a rich texture, this is a must try. Butter naan: served warm, fresh, crispy, soft with lots and lots of butter. I am still drooling thinking about it. Hydrebadi biryani: the looks of this dish made me salivate. Served with some crunchy papad and raita, the long grain rice were freshly prepared. They were cooked well with veggies such as corn, peas, bell peppers, beans and soft paneer. Adequate amount of spices added, offered a mildly spicy and flavourful touch to the palate. Kulfi falooda: the best falooda I have had till date! Creamy & rich kulfi and pistachio ice cream, with some vermicelli and rabdi was scrumptious. Fairly sweet and pleasing, we relished this till the last spoon. Rasmalai: rich with its saffron flavour and moderately sweet, the patties were lavish in terms of texture and were fresh. Enjoyable and tasty! Thank you Kailash Parbat team for being such great hosts. I can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu.

I never knew this place existed until recently and then found out after I came that they have been in business since 1952. They serve only veg dishes but the number of cuisines they have are unbelievable. These include veg pizzas, south & north Indian, Chinese and even veg sushi. We tried the virgin pina colada(3/5), paneer tikka masala(4.5/5), veg manchurian(5/5 - nice and spicy), pav bhaji(5/5), hyderabadi paneer biryani(4/5) and chole bhatura(5/5 - they have both methi and paneer bhatura). In desserts we tried both Rasagulla(5/5) and Rasmalai both of which were good. The seating capacity here is large, presentation is good and food is super tasty. After a little bit of bad service initially it got better and I started to like my experience. Overall definitely a place to consider for veg food.

We went for lunch here and food was delicious. Started with masala papad and some refreshing juices. Then in starters we had tokri chaat which was quite good. In mains we had their signature kp special thali and chole bhature. They serve 3 veg,daal,sweet,papad,chaas,rice,raita and 2 chapati in a thali which is quite good in quantity. Kp special bhature has 3 types of bhature with spicy chole. In dessert we had hot jalebis with kulfi and rabri and everything was heavenly. Food should be cooked in a very hygienic way and kp is a brand,we expect clean food here.

Kailash Parbat is located in the heart of Meena Bazaar, one of the busiest localities in Dubai. Despite being of Sindhi origin serving only vegetarian, they serve varieties of dishes from across the globe. With a two-floored restaurant, there is ample amount of seating space. Chaat Dahi Puri Paneer Chole Bhatura Aani Basar Phulka Rose Blossom (drink) Rasmalai Sizzling Brownie Absolute Recommends - Paneer Chole Bhatura Dahi Puri Aani Basar Rasmalai Rose Blossom I've never tried Paneer Chole Bhatura but the one from KP is delicious! The bhature is so soft it feels like it melts in your mouth. The chole is different from the ones I've tried so far; it is a little heavy on the black pepper but goes well with the bhature. Aani Basar, a Sindhi onion based masala curry, steals the show. It tastes just like something you would make at home and pairs up well with the phulka. The spice level is medium so for those who can't handle spice at all, this isn't an option. Rose Blossom is very refreshing drinks amongst all the spices. Rasmalai is a great way to end the meal. A visit to Kailash Parbat is surely recommended for some amazing vegetarian food in Dubai.

My experience here was really good. This is a classic go-to restaurant for vegetarians with great Indian cuisine. They have good quality food and taste. The ambience is usually colourful and bright in any Kailash parbat you go to. I had ordered: Burnt Garlic Soup: (Pan Asian) It had a really good flavour which brought out all spices and the garlic. To start off, eating at this outlet reminds me of ‘Mumbai’. All their dishes have a distinct taste of Food that we get in Mumbai. We order 3 dishes ... paneer Tikka pizza - it was super Ravioli - it was nice as well Tacos - average And the best was desert sizzling brownie!!! Good and helpful servers! Wanted to try out at pure veg being in Meena bazaar we thght of trying this restaurant it had lots of rush and looked quite popular. We had the deluxe thali which came with chaas, and sabhji was paneer masala which was good. Gobi and bhindi with Papad and gulab jamun .Overall the food was good, ambience was awesome. Good place for any1 wanting to eat pure veg since they have lots of variety in the heart of Meena bazaar. Good thing is they have a RTA paid parking outside the restaurant, but good luck finding a parking.

This was my second visit to this restaurant so giving review together for my both visit .. Ambience is very attractive and seating arrangements also spacious and comfortable .. Ordered first time Baigan Aaloo Tamatar ki subzi , Amritsari kofta curry a, Poori , Butter garlic naan .. Amazing food .. really liked it .. Second time ordered KP executive Thali .. It was good but but I am not really happy compare to my first visit .. Thali was ok as I had better Thali's than this .. Updated - Made a visit on a fine friday and was expecting the food to still taste amazing and have the same experience I had from the previous visit. We had ordered the same thali which we order normally the KP executive thali, however this time the dal didn't have enough salt, the potatoes served were hard under cooked, the peas had too much garam masala and upon confronting the waiter he simply claimed that it is a Punjabi dish. I have eaten Punjabi food in past and pretty sure none of them ever put so much garam masala. Had also orderd a panner dish and mix veg which didn't have the taste we were expecting. This place used to be good but looks like it has become like every other restaurant in Dubai who change their taste after being established. This was our last visit, I hope you change otherwise you will see more negative reviews Old review Amazing place for premium veg food. Amazing location, amazing decor and a good taste. Would highly recommend all vegetarians to make a visit. Value for money

A nice place for authentic indian pure vegetarian food. We ordered the exclusive thali, pani puri, papdi mix chaat, crispy chilli potatoes. Everything was good. The vegetarian dishes and the daal were very well flavoured. The pani puri was also fabulous and the papdi chaat was also perfectly assembled. Complemented by great service and very cooperative staff, we had a very pleasant expericence. My complements to the management and the staff on running such a great show

I liked this place. The flower decoration was adorable but I had a problem with the food. The exclusive thali had a less amount of food in the different varieties of food but the crispy chilli potatoes and the pickles were fascinating. The crispy chilli potatoes were a lot more crunchy than I thought it would be. The pickle was spicy and flavourful. The gulab jamun and the chaat was also nice but the bread pakora was not so good. Everything else was great. I would give this restaurant a 4 star rate out of five. I'm happy with this place.

Only one issue we had asked for Exotic Vegetables without mushrooms but still they served it with it and they took time to bring it again back with a solved problem so we had to wait for a time to be returned and we were famished as well. Went there for lunch today (friday), we ere the only customers there in the restaurant. They switched on the AC after we took a seat at the table. And obviously on a hot summer afternoon it won’t cool quickly so we had our food in a relatively hot seating. We ordered for two thali- Deluxe Thali and Normal Thali. The food was not warm enough. The portion size was pretty fair. But the taste was really not upto the mark. I have been to this place few times earlier and also had the thali before too but today the food was below average. We were very hungry so we dint bother to waste time complaining and just had our food and left. The aloo gobi sabji tasted stale may be the hot climate can be the reason but rest of the food at least Was tasting fresh. Overall disappointed. Service was just fair nothing outstanding. Might review it again sometime later.
