Was my first time in madinat after the for thé corona , all madinat was and quiet and sad, suddenly the door opens to a happy vibrant place , it was packed , luckily we had booked a table , As every time food and drinks were good, service was excellent , I just needed my mussels fix , hopefully on my next visit 😄

The picture uploaded is of their lovely balcony that has a view over madinat lake and is not from a visit, but I was sitting across and am a regular there. Obviously the beer is outstanding, they know how to fill a pint and have such a variety that even my non beer drinking wife always finds something she likes. The food is always spot on and never dips in quality. My all time favourite is the beef tartar, I can highly recommend that fornthe sophisticated beef lover. The mussels seem to he amazing as well from what Inhave witnessed, but I personally dont eat them so can't vouch for it, but I've never had a bad meal there

As an event planner in the UAE specialising in Nigerian weddings and events, I brought 3 CEO's wives for dinner last night and it was Ladies Night so thought it would be the perfect location. I had my EID, another lady had a passport and 2 ladies had copies on their phones. The lady at the door told us we all had to have actual ID with us but would ask her supervisor. He then came to the door and told us that only those with EID could enter. I have lived in the UAE for 8 years and I have never heard of an establishment saying you can only enter if you have EMIRATES ID. We are in the UAE which is a tourist destination, in the middle of MADINAT JUMERIAH. He was adamant that every single person in BELGIAN BEER CAFE was a resident of the UAE. This is an outright lie and because of that this company will never get my service and I will not recommend my clients to them. Clearly my only other assumption is that as 4 black women they did not want us in their restaurant! If this is how you choose to run your business then WELL DONE

We visited the BBC on a ladies night. Love the ambiance of this place. They have a lovely outdoor seating which would be great during the winter months as they have great views all around. We ordered Crispy skin salmon, Belgian mussels 250grm tenderloin. All the dishes ordered were very good but I loved the mussels the most.

I went there for the brunch. Ambience is really good, although not a party brunch. I was disappointed with the drinks, no good Belgian beer for a Belgian bar. There were 3 options and even the most expensive one did not offer good beers... I understand they are expensive, but then charge accordingly.

A known brand which serves frozen chicken and beef both not well thawed ! An afternoon meal that was shoddy and not week done. It pains when restaurants do not treat guests with food they deserve for the money they pay. I complained to the waiter but to no avail. Always a different experience from the other beer pubs around you. Belgian Cafe definitely carries that edge. Souk Madinat has a very cozy and large area to seat. Happy hours are the best! Must try are the Beer tasting palate and the bitter Ballen with the lovely Belgian Fries. I ve heard the brunch at this place is something not to miss. Spent Friday evening with a friend and it also happened they have a ladies night. I t was crowded but we ere seated where we want to be. Sitting outside was so pleasant (but not the people smoking around you but it is expected though). Food was good, kudos to their chef! I also commend Cassey who served us because despite of toxic crowd and serving alone outside she was very patience, she can still smile and checking each table to make sure if they and we need anything. I am sure its pretty tiring but that was she is!

Wonderful selection of Belgium beers, We came here for moules and cherry beer and we found it all here, tried 3 different types of moules - all was perfect. Kids menu variety is very good, never tried such a good burgers for kids. It was a bit loudy and staff was very busy, i think they need more people for better service. Though staff was very helpful. Cool vibe of pub and similar interiors. Definitely will be back.

Today came for late lunch with my wife to Belgian beer cafe, souk madinat jumeirah, and we stayed outside to enjoy the last days of spring in dubai and enjoy the beautiful scenery of souk madinat jumeirah We ordered sharing starter platter, famous cheese burger, and fish & chips The food took extremely long to be served to a point that we felt full before even receiving the main course I asked for the burger to be served with fois gras but on the side so it doesnt affect the taster but it came with it inside the burger, also we find long blonde hair inside the piece of fish It was disgusting, we asked for the bill and the waitress gave us the bill for the starters and water No one from management bothered himself to come check on our bad experience Anyway the decision is to never ever comeback

Fish and chips was stunning. Loved the lightness of the batter, and their chunky tartar that complemented the cod perfectly. I am not a fan of fish and chips but will be back for this one. 5/5 for this one. Pork was alright, flavorful but a bit on the dry side. Portion is deceptively small. Their fries were good. The dip was not. Complimentary bread was a nice touch, and that was well done too.

Been here long time ago and didn’t find it very nice. We found out there was a new chef with a new menu and improved dishes. Since we liked clima and environment we diced to come back, there was a house improvement on the menu and the food quality, the food was just magnificent m and so tastefully good, nothing to do with the old dishes we tried before. Defiantly will make this restaurant as a come back and recommend one.

We did the brunch (two times already). It's a great view in the terrace, delicious food and very friendly and helpful staff. It is not a party brunch. I really enjoyed the afternoon there. This is not my first time in belgian cafe, i used to like this place and the food is nice but the service is really bad Every time i go there i have a bad experience with the service The staff is not nice and they come up with excuses every time to bother me like “system doesn’t accept it” We met a couple there and wanted to split the bill as every couple pay his bill using his own entertainer but there is always a fake excuse called “system doesn’t accept” which is absolutely incorrect I just went there because my guest wanted to try it but definitely i will avoid this place as there are countless of other options with better ambiance Food: 5/5 Service: 0/5 Ambiance: 1/5

Went here with my friends to celebrate my birthday. We ordered few drinks and food as well. In food we ordered one mix platter which had french fries, mozzarella balls, chicken wings, crispy calamari and beef mac and cheese balls, veg. Pasta in pink sauce, white pasta with chicken and in desserts we ordered lotus tiramisu and chocolate mousse. Amazing food but the service is a little slow. The view is amazing.

I visited this place on the 25th December. Though the entire Souk Medinath was packed with people who came with their families to celebrate Christmas. But this place was calm and quiet. One of the best place in Dubai to hang out with friends. Though the food choices are less, but the quality of food and servings is good. Highly recommend this place.

I’m a beer lover and its always a pleasure to visit any of the 3 joints in the city. This one especially this one in winters the place is so romantic beside the artificial back waters of the Souq Madinat Jumeriah. The food is too good and portions are big so order carefully. Belgian beer cafe is a licensed cafeteria with a pleasant bar type milieu. We went in evening and found it slightly full with customers making merry. The old mahogany wooden work with glossy finish gave an atmosphere of old world charm of europe. Our seat selection was a problem and we found ourselves behind the big staircase. This nook does make private tete-a-tetes easier to conduct. But service takes a toll as it can't be very visible to the staffs at the counter. Ambience-4.5/5. Interiors-4/5. Service-3/5. Reasons explained above. Food-4/5. I have taken only a mojito. It was lovely. Price-3/5. Quite upmarket. I would love to go again to sample the other items on offer. Specially the pork.

The vibe was generally nice, but the food was overly expensive. We had several beers on the tap and a bottle of wine, both were very nice. Additionally, we had several mussels with the spicy flavour and the traditional flavour, both were really tasty, yet the freshness of the mussels should be improved. Overall, the food was ok, still we believed there were too many dishes that were with dairy products and heavy flavour, which might not be the best.

We’ve dined at Belgian Beer Cafe twice now, both times with a group of friends. And when I say “dine” I really mean snack. What I’ve tried: 1) Belgian Mussels with Garlic and Cream (my husband enjoyed the dish but I didn’t eat more than a couple pieces of mussels) 2) Friture Platter - bitterballen, calamari, fries, cheese croquettes, chicken wings (great for satisfying fried food cravings, I asked for a side of mayonnaise to dip the fries in, my favourite were the sweet and salty crispy chicken wings hands down) I don’t drink alcohol but friends recommended the Kriek Belgian beer, especially if your taste buds are looking for something new and exciting to try. It is cherry based 🍒🍒🍒 Overall, I enjoy the view of Madinat Jumeirah from the window side, and it’s a comfortable environment to meet up with friends. They sometimes have a live band playing near the front of the cafe. Happy eating 🌷

We opted for natural, roquefort without cognac and garlic & cream mussels, which were plenty for two people and was quite flavourful. I personally enjoyed the mussels cooked in garlic cream sauce. Garlic Prawns The prawns are cooked in chilli and garlic butter sauce with crushed black pepper. The prawns were not over cooked, which made them soft and juicy and helped keep in all the flavours. The flavours of the dish were great; however, I would prefer a side item with this dish to make it complete. Personally, I would enjoy having rice or risotto with this item. Virgin Pina-Colada A very refreshing drink to beat the summer heat. However, it tends to get heavy so its better to have it after your food to avoid filling yourself up on the drink. Belgian Beer Café is a Dubai classic. There are a few locations but I find myself in this location more than others. The atmosphere is wooden, feels small (but the upstairs is much more airy and roomy feeling) and the service is relatively fast. This place gets really busy, REALLY BUSY. You may need to make a reservation so it is worth calling to book as often I come here and the only room is at the bar. There are sports screens throughout the bar even though it is not advertised as a sports bar. As the name gives away, this is a beer café with a focus on European beers including lager, white beer, stout, flavoured beers and cider. There are plenty of options on draught and even more (and more niche) beers in the fridge. The atmosphere is smoky so if you do not like smoking then you may struggle. Regarding the food, I struggle to enjoy the food here because it is not what I enjoy. Most of the menu is fried (breaded shrimp, calamari, platters of the same, bitterballen) or heavy casserole and stew dishes. This is however fairly authentic to the region it replicates as this is common Dutch, Belgian and Northern French food. The hotel offers valet parking. In short, if you love beer and sports, this is your place. If you like food, it has a lot less to offer.

The Belgian Beer Cafe has been our place ever since I first visited Dubai. Whenever we craved a good bite and a drink, we found ourselves heading there. The food quality and taste were honestly the best. So sad to see standards decline. It is no longer the great food I am used to. Earlier rating x5 stars: Yum! We have been repeat customers at both the Madinat and Festival city locations. Friendly staff, great service and good food - definitely a great place to hang out and relax - in good weather, the outside area at the festival location is perfect to watch the sun go down. Our kids love the place too and the staff always makes them feel welcome. On the food side, the cheese burger, streak sandwich and chocolate mouse are a definite try - and if you like Stella do give the cherry version a try (warning: is a bit sweat).

Trying this Cafe in Madinat Jumeirah and we didn’t regret at all! The food is mouthwatering! We ordered their Salmon, the pan-fried Lamb, Rib-eye Steak and their Pork Ribs! Oh-so happy they have Pork! The ambiance is great since we are situated outside the area. Mood vibe of romantic and festive combined! We didn’t anticipate at all that the servings are large, delighted that the waiter delightfully put it in a take out. Customer service superb! Always asking hows the food and all making you feel also welcomed and important to them. Definitely would go back!

I’ve always known Belgian beer cafe ever since I came to Dubai. This particular branch is my fave,although I don’t always come here, some of the old staff were still there but mostly new faces. It’s my first time to try their food coz I always drop by for a drink. We had the pork ribs and the pork festival, both were so good, the meat was tender and flavorful. We really enjoyed our food! The lady who served us was prompt and friendly, I forgot to ask her name though. But overall our experience was great.

Use to be a great place for food and beer. Its still great for beers but the food has deteriorated so much that you cant even eat it. We had a burger the other day and had 2 pieces of bone in the patty, really disgusting. They also changed their fries to a cheaper thinner alternative. Such a shame. When we told the manager, he said its not his fault but the senior management decided to change suppliers.

Croque monsieur was really nice and tasty The balance between crispness of the toasts and the softness of the cheese was just perfect ! The ambience and service were good Waiters are friendly which made it a good experience

Nice place to try out Belgian food and beverages. Mussels in spicy broth was amazing, while the turkey and cheese sandwich was okay. The profiteroles were disappointing and unappetizing.

I went there on a Saturday, open wings. This place has the best fries! The beer is good as well. The staff is super friendly. Definitely will go again. They should probably add some desserts to the menu.

Everything about this place!!! First of all, the location is simply stunning, you have a great view to Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah. The staff here is amazingly friendly and helpful. But the food...is simply too delicious!! I have tried many dishes so far, but I would suggest you to try any beef steak, grilled salmon, waffles and mussels (if you like it) !

A fantastic Friday Brunch! We have been meaning to come here for a while and this more than met expectations with fabulous food - most notably the ribs, prawns and mussels, and the attentive customer service from Erwin - perhaps the main reason we would come back as we were never short of a drink or a friendly smile. A good place to chill, located in madinat Jumeirah. It’s quite big with an old wooden yet charming interior. I never tried the food but the beer is great! A good place to watch sports games if you’re a fan.

I went there as I normally like to go to Festival branch! We had some drinks and food. The place is located inside of Souk Madinat, as the brand has all deco in wood and pub style. I had Stela beer which was great and some cocktails with my friends, the cocktails were normal, nothing special! The place has a cool ambience for a beer and fun with friends, you can enjoy sport TV there. We tried the mussels which were good and some burgers. Kind of fast food / pub food. It's ok.

We went there for an evening during weekdays. The place was pretty full with a DJ playing good music downstairs. We had a wonderful view from the terrace upstairs on the Madinat and burj al Arab. The selection of beers is amazing! The service was excellent and quick. I was however disappointed by the overpriced food: the mussels are nice but the size of French fries is ridiculous for 180aed. My Pork Plate was dry and not exciting. There is improvement to be done when all option are above 150aed. All together, it was a good experience and I might go back to enjoy beers with few appetisers (but will avoid food).

Located on 1 st floor of souk madinat. With 2 sitting area ac & open air. With the view of the waterfront and boat ride. Service was ok. Options for Vegetarians are limited. Place has good variety of beers. Ordered Americano coffee which was strong n refreshing. Veg burger - it was bad taste wise, served with fries which was ok. Didn’t enjoy at all. Only saving was coffee n view.

The food was good especially the belgian burger. The fries were delicious and crispy. The pasta was delicious as well as the croque monsieur. The portions were generous. However the service was very very slow! The staff was friendly nonetheless.

One of my favorite beer bar in Dubai. I have been to all the 3 locations in Dubai. I love the Belgian beer varieties they have and not to forget the Bitterballens. The location at Madinat is very serene, near the internal canal. The outdoor seating is perfect for the cooler months of Dubai.

Visited here for couple of beers late evening last week during the week day. As always the first thing which I love here is the ambience and I love this location in winters the best . Choosing to sit outdoors with couple of beers was a lovely experience. The service was good and friendly staff . We had hoegaarden and stella and small bites only . I love the food here but been visiting the dfc branch pretty often than this . Nevertheless this place is excellent

I like the beer in this place , the muscles were nice but felt the portions were significantly small ! I ordered the Marine zoo meal and it was half what I was expecting! The shrimps plate featured 6 tiger strips in the photo and we got only 4 when the dish arrived and they were far from Tiger prawns size! I guess this place is nice to hang out with friends to grab a bear but won’t say it’s the best when it comes to food!
