So basically i reserved a table for 6 at 10 pm and i recieved an email confirmation, then at 6 pm a lady calls me from the restaurant telling me in order to proceed with the reservation i have to give her my credit card details! I was really shocked and i told her since when we are supposed to give our credit card details and its being asked on the phone!!! She said i am sorry mam this is our rules and then i replied this is a very personal thing and i can not give it to you simply that way but i can assure that we are coming and i hope you can continue with our reservation without the credit card and she replied i am sorry i can’t proceed!!! <br/>Nivine owners you need to change your staff and the manager as soon as possible before your place shuts down from their attitude:)!!!<br/>Horrible👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼<br/>And you just lost great customers:)

I can't describe how beautiful is this place!! It has an amazing vibe specially when it's nice weather, I just LOVED IT. We came for afternoon tea, as I have seen the coverage on a food blogger's instagram account where he has wrote about this place and also mentioned that the price of the afternoon tea is AED 176 for two person and post the bill too on his story but was unfortunate that it was not true coz we were two and were charged AED 330, it's ok since we enjoyed!!

The place is nice , but with a lack of hygiene and cleanliness . PS very rude and bad management. <br/>Ordered a vegetarian meal ( couscous vegetables ) plus chicken, and it smelled like it cooked in meat stock ,<br/>When i informed the waiter , he was friendly and polite went and informed manager to check with us . <br/>The manager (Her name is Patricia ) came to our table and said : next time be careful coz in the menu it mentioned that the vegetarian meal is non vegetarian.<br/>I was surprised by her attitude ,not professional at all and to talk to customer like that was impolite .<br/>However they changed my meal but when I was checking menu over I saw that it was not mentioned the meal I ordered is non vegetarian. (As you can see in attached picture)<br/>Can you imagine, the waiter explained to us that both vegetable and chicken meal was cooked in meat stock and its not mentioned in the menu.<br/>We were waiting for friends to come over and have shisha & drinks but because of her unprofessional management skills and impolite attitude we decided to ask for bill and leave...<br/><br/>Interior - beautiful <br/>Staff - friendly <br/>Prices - expensive <br/>Food - below average <br/>Management - non professional , bad etiquette

Cute location, good music, but unfortunately the staff is not the friendliest and most professional one.<br/>We booked for dinner but were still waiting for a friend to join us. Waiter asked us 10 times if we want to order food. We said we are still waiting for the friend then we will order.<br/>In the end the hostess came and told us in a very strict and serious way that if we dont order food now we have to leave the table (even though we were having a lot of drinks).<br/>A very unprofessional and rude way to talk to guest. The amount we always spend on drinks is same amout we could have spend on food, so what is the difference? Someone needs to explain this ;)<br/>Anyhow we quickly ordered some starters to keep them quiet and when our friend arrived we left the place and went to a place next door to have dinner.<br/><br/>As I said: very nice location and I was looking forward to finally going there, but due to the rude treatment we experienced this was definitely my first and last time.<br/><br/>

Ninive is the perfect place to have a Middle Eastern dinner, the decor is very beautiful, it makes you feel you are dining inside a modern bedouin tent in the middle of the financial district of Dubai.<br/>The menu is very interesting, since is not focusing only on one specific cuisine but a mix of traditional dishes from the region.<br/>All the dishes we ordered where delicious and perfectly cooked.<br/>I definitely recommend to visit!

We were a group of friends who popped in here for some bites, and drinks. We had an amazing time, the music was fantastic and quite varied. The food was really good and the sheesha was good. The interior was well ventilated, even though they had a tent to beat the heat. I’m sure this place is going to be even better once the tent comes off when the weather is better.<br/><br/>Will definitely be back here again and will recommend this place to friends.

Ninive is not the usual Middle Eastern Restaurant. It's decor incorporates the aesthetics of a Bedouin tent, surrounded by a beautiful wooden structure and vegetation from where you can enjoy an amazing view on DIFC skyscrapers.<br/>The dishes are Iranian, Iraqi, Egyptian, Turkish, Saudi or a mix of these which make Ninive's cuisine unique. From the moment you enter you will feel very welcomed by the staff and the Arabic modern beats will set the mood on.<br/>Definitely to add on my list of favorites restaurants in Dubai!

Despite being a city that is home to over 16,000 eateries, Dubai has been seriously lacking great dining options in a category that might surprise you – modern Arabic. Morah’s wonderful levant cuisine certainly raised the bar, but its stint was sadly short lived at the top of the JW Marriott Marquis towers (now replaced by the lively Hotel Cartagena). Zahira also attempted a shot at the crown of Dubai’s best Arabic restaurant but it too closed its doors before its first anniversary, with food too rustic to really impress Dubai’s spoilt and fickle diners.

I have visited this restaurant for Suhoor at the beginning of Ramadan so I did not have the chance to try their a la carte menu. The location is stunning, very small and extremely cosy with such a strong Arab influence is the interior. The sitting areas are extremely comfortable, it’s one of those places where you can sit and relax forever, smoking shisha and sipping mint tea while nibbling in some very delicious Arabic dishes. I really recommend this venue, even in summer where the outdoor area is covered by a beautiful white tent.

A very nice place with comfortable seatings and spectacular view of the Sheikh Zayed sky scrapper and emirates towers. It is an open area so it is good from Sept to April as it will be challenging to sit outside in summer. I highly recommend Zalouk as starter - never taste a better starter with Eggplant-, chickpeas salad is good and Tajin is tasty. They serve good Shisha as well. Recommended place to chill out after sunset till midnight.

Dont ever trust their valet , i have just picked up my car and it is wet as if it was raining .... whats really frustrating is the management didnt even apologies but rather told me you can clean your car and get us the receipt to pay it .... they literally know nothing about customer service or acting professionally ! B

headed up to this new restaurant in Emirates towers which has some authentic morrocan flavours to offer. the ambiance was very nice and relaxing; with good Arabian fusion music in the background with nice romantic lighting. Coming to the food we opted for the Chicken Tagine and the sea bass for the mains both were beautifully cooked and were boasting of authentic Moroccan flavours; if i had to pick a winner the fish be my pick. For the appetizers we opted for the chickpea salad and roasted eggplant dip which were good too in taste however there was no wow effect as such.. overall a great experience would definitely go back and would recommend this restaurant to all..<br/>

Been bragging my hubby for a long time to visit Ninive after I saw their photos while browsing through Zomato, and finally got our chance when he got a little bit free from workloads.<br/><br/>Walking thru the stairs, I already can feel that this night will be awesome!  Greeted by some lovely staff at the reception, you will be ushered to your table and luckily for that night it was a quiet one.  We went here without a reservation because we felt it's not needed at that time - it was a Sunday night so obviously less crowd.  I'm really in love with a majlis setup, whether while camping or in restaurants and hotel, and Ninive took a huge step and modernized it.  Yes, it is located just close to the busiest road but you won't feel nor hear any noise that will distract you.  I felt that I was transported to another place and we felt so relax, especially our server, Haytham, who is amazing and so patient and kind, is always there smiling at us.  He told us that there is a live singer and a dj during weekends, and we'll definitely be back soon to experience that.  They have a free valet parking, but you need to show a receipt from the restaurant.

What a beautiful venue. Came with my good friends that had been wanting to visit for some time, definitely worth it. The ambience is beautiful, at one point we felt like we had travelled to Marrakech. The music was perfect for the setting starting with Arabic vibes and then moved to deep house as it got later. The food is fantastic, definetly need to try the eggplant dip to start, prawn skewers and the beef roll. We had the chicken tajine as a main. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

Spoiler Alert: I think Ninive Dubai is going to be everything Zahira couldn’t. I know, I know, that’s a little harsh but I’ve always been one to say it as I see it. I’m not the biggest fan of Arab/Middle Eastern food, but when I heard that Ninive is led by the same head chef as La Cantine Du Faubourg, Gilles Bosquet, I knew I had to try it out. So, I accepted the tasting invite and headed over for dinner with M.

There are many after-dark restaurants and cafes in Dubai – but there is only one that will take your breath away as you enter and then fill you with joy of life as you pass a divine evening in a world of its own: Ninive!. Believe me, the joie de vivre at Ninive is tangible. You can taste it on your tongue, and feel it on your skin… a mesmerizing locale, hypnotic and enchanting.

It is like an urban majlis at the feet of the Emirates Towers, its decor incorporates the aesthetics of the Bedouin tent. You would ask me but what is the meaning of the word Ninive?. Let’s go back a bit to history 🙂. Ninive from its original word Nineveh from the Syriac Language‎ was an ancient Assyrian city of Upper Mesopotamia, located on the outskirts of Mosul in modern-day northern Iraq. It is located on the eastern bank of the Tigris River, and was the capital of the Neo-Assyrian Empire. Nowadays it is a common name for the half of Mosul which lies on the eastern bank of the Tigris.

Surrounded by ever-busy Sheikh Zayed highway, glittering downtown lights and the hussle of the financial district, Ninive of Dubai is a brilliant idea. It caters to the growing need of every cosmopolitan city for a little paradise of greenery, privacy and peace. A place that looks good, feels good and contributes to goodness. That’s what Ninive is for me.<br/><br/>Decorated in the best traditions of One Thousand and One Nights, where gold is everybody’s favourite colour, Ninive communicates Arabian luxury and guest’s comfort as the priority. The interior elements, accented with warm light lanterns, fluffy cushions, low foamy divans and a feeling of privacy, make you immediately forget all your worries. The later was elegantly sprinkled on several mouth-watering appis, which didn’t last long. I especially enjoyed the absence of ceviche, a dish that the majority of Dubai restaurants tend to force into their cuisine recently. <br/><br/>There is no strict definition of Ninive’s cuisine type. It’s noticeably influenced by the Middle East, Persia, South Asia and nearby states, however things aren’t easy. I appreciated the trend of moving away from serving a boring spread of stereotypical dishes towards crafting the new Haute Arabic food couture to impress and startle.   <br/><br/>Chef Ibrahim<br/><br/>I spotted chef Ibrahim right at the entrance. Confidently powerful in the kitchen, he projects charm, charisma and a love of food. I couldn’t stop staring at his act through the glass wall of the kitchen located right behind the bar. Easily mesmerized by super skilled professionals, I couldn’t keep my eyes or iPhone off him. Intrigued by my non-stop flash, chef Ibrahim laughed and visited my table for a quick chat. He was as entertaining in conversation as in the kitchen. <br/><br/>Chef of the bar Marc<br/><br/>Marc is another personality not to miss at Ninive. Many guests stop by the bar just for an opportunity to observe this awesome guy and share a bunch of jokes. Enigmatic, always on the go, anxious in a fun way and incredibly skilled, Marc is a character that could be plucked from Cirque du Soleil. I knew there was something cheeky in his past watching the way Marc tossed a napkin next to me. That’s for me to know and for you to discover.<br/><br/>Haytham<br/><br/>Haitham was introduced to my table half way through the dinner and for the first few appearances I kept on referring to him as Olivier. He never corrected me, smiling rather charmingly. He captivates attention with a soft approach to service, sharp attentiveness and enthusiasm. Given how much I enjoyed my earlier visits, I organized a dinner for 35 of my friends to Ninive, with a carefully selected mix of dishes that formed the 3-course set menu. The night was a resounding success, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the food, shisha, the music and the atmosphere. Perhaps the only issue was that there may have been the portioning of a couple of dishes (not everyone had the kebab, while there was leftover couscous) but other than this one point, it was an excellent night. <br/><br/>If you want to plan for an evening out where you can take advantage of the cooler weather, you will not find a better spot than Ninive.

Brand new restaurant and lounge alert in Dubai- Ninive, this new dining sensation offers Arabic cuisine under the stars. And last week, we had the pleasure of visiting them for dinner. From the owners of La Cantine du Faubourg comes this beautiful new venue at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel. Ninive is an al fresco only dining destination that offers diverse Middle Eastern cuisine, drinks and Shisha.

The ambience is very nice but the service and staff are very unprofessional and unwelcoming- zero management skills with reservations.. shisha, food and everything else is over priced and menu variety isn’t great. I’d pay for the ambience but that’s about it- really hope they improve soon as it has potential to be a hot weekend spot!

Not worthy of a 5.0 - Anyone who rates food here at 5.0 has not credibly rated this place. Great ambience, adds another shisha lounge to dubai scene (145 dirhams shisha!), but disappointing 2.5 page menu without a lot of choice or value for money (easily 1000+ for 2 people without drinks). We tried lamb chops and chicken tagine and neither were to sing about, the excellent dishes were the desserts otherwise the menu needs a revamp.

اولا من ناحية الاكل ممتاز ولكن الخدمة سيئة جدا جدا جدا بالذات الموظف ابراهيم كان غير لبق واسلوبه غير حضاري ابدا .. as a guest sorry to say that one of your waiters ( Ibrahim ) they way he treat us was unprofessional, rude and uncivilized, I hope you retrain your staff in a better way this is not acceptable. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED
