Lefteris Gyro

This is my go to Greek food restaurant! The food is always delicious. The serving size of each dish will leave you stuffed so come hungry. The gyro sandwich and platter are always stuffed And delicious. Our favorite appetizer is the calamari which always comes fresh and lightly breaded. I definitely recommend for a family to come and share a few dishes. Enjoy and happy eating ✌🏽

A must visit if you go shopping at Ridge Hill. Leftteris Gyro is a Greek Restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have an extensive menu that surely your family will love. I went on a Sunday and ordered the weekend tapas special. I wasn’t really expecting but I was blown away by the portion size and taste of the food. The food was great but the service is even greater! Their customer service is top-notch. One of the best I’ve had in Yonkers. From the minute you step in, when you are seated, served your food and end of service, you can feel the positive energy and great customer service. Come for the food and stay for the service. You wont regret it.

We were in here, had two gyros and two soft drinks, nothing else and the bill was $30. Pretty expensive for what we had. The gyros were relatively small but very good. We would definitely come back but their prices are just too much to come here often. A Gyro platter it’s $27, for that price you can do a lot better down the block at the cheesecake factory. If you’re looking for a very good gyros this is your spot but be prepared to pay for it!

They have vegetarian options beyond falafels. I was so happy when my friends took me here. I was afraid the only thing they'd have for me would be falafels over rice which I get all the time in the city. The cabbage is stuffed with rice and beans and has a side of deliciously tangy potatoes. It also comes with pita bread and a huge salad! I ate it all aside from one cabbage roll and a few pita slices. For 16 bucks, it was the best bang for my buck I've gotten in NYC. Twas a very happy cat that day!! Definitely going back.

Just like the original in Tarrytown. Best salad dressing! And I don't like salad that much! There's an Atlantis theme mural covering all the walls, service is really quick, they have things down to a science here! You can't go wrong ordering the flaming cheese and any of the souvlacki platters. Enjoy! I know I did

Went here with five others and we were all starving and ordered a ton of food so I got to try a bunch. Main highlights for me were the eggplant dip, fried squid, and my lamb souvlaki served in a pita. Also two of my party swore by the deliciousness of the lemon chicken soup (avgolemono). Couple criticisms: I loooove moussaka as a rule but this one had too much nutmeg for my taste, it was so sweet it almost tasted like a dessert. The lamb chops were dry, probably wouldn’t order those again either. Service was great! Friendly and fairly speedy. Overall a yummy meal with huge portions and I left feeling very open to coming back again! Apologies for the lack of photos: we destroyed everything put on the table very quickly.
