Cafe Cornerstone

Unexpected rustic little cafe close to Windsor Station. You can see from the photos that they had cool al fresco furniture - wooden barrels and boards as tables, and then metal high stools. Got a couple of bacon and egg rolls and long blacks, and they came up to $29 or so. The rolls were nicely toasted, the eggs perfectly done (with enough run to ooze out on the first bite), and the tomato relish quite delish. Service was great and very friendly. Note: I also notice that the table beside ours had a dog, and they brought out some water in a makeshift bowl (bucket) for them! Aww

Delicious drinks and food. The food and drinks did take a while to come out but well worth the wait and friendly service, will be back! I had the bacon and eggs on sourdough and added a hash brown and tomato. Big serving very well cooked delicious flavour. Had the iced mocha with icecream instead of ice and tasted nice as well. My boyfriend had the waffles probably one of the best waffles I've tasted with caramel icecream and butterscotch sauce, amazing! Even delicious caramelized bananas which I usually don't like. Worth going!
