Had a great time at Slug. Came for birthday bottomless brunch. Waitstaff were attentive. Sitting upstairs really made a difference to service as the two bars do not share orders so reduced customers to serve.

I visited the slug and lettuce Winchester recently. And what a place that was absolutely amazing staff and amazing food. They couldn't do enough for me and my family i highly recommend this place. Not only was the food service fast and the food was amazing but the choice of drinks was amazing. This is what a lot of pubs are missing these days it just shows anyone can open a pub but it takes good management and hard working staff to run a decent pub. Keep it up thank you again

Lovely little tucked away Slug & Lettuce branch in a quaint alley full of Winchester's historic character. The food was great, extremely surprised at the quality of the steak we received, genuinely tasted like a fillet and was cooked a perfect medium-rare. Drink choices are good, the prices were very competitive and the staff were very welcoming. Nice little place to stop off for a bite to eat if you are shopping around Winchester.

We've been here before and it is good. This evening we went for the 2 for 1 cocktail deal. Only thing was you had to order 2 of the same cocktail to get the deal. So we all had up end up doing that and then sharing them around amongst our party. It would be better if the 2 for 1 was for individual cocktails but I do appreciate that takes time for the bartenders to make. But all told great drinks and good atmosphere.

Visited just after 4pm on a Thursday - quite quiet so very fast service! Quinoa chilli is absolutely gorgeous, and has quite a few other vegetarian options too. Very pretty decorations inside too - good for a date!

We had our Christmas works do last night 07.12.18 here and it was fantastic. We were a large group of females and went for the cocktail making and sharing platter and it was all fabulous the lady who hosted the cocktail making did a fantastic job and made the experience and enjoyable one (apologies i cant remember her name i think it was Jay) The manager always checked to make everything was ok and everything was running smoothly. The cocktails went down well and the sharing platter was delicious and they did a grear job for catering for all dietary needs. Thank you Slug! We will be back. Emily

Had a really nice evening with a friend. Food was good (quite a bit was out of stock including my original preference) and served quickly and tasted great. Service was great, the front of house team were very smiley and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely to have a chat and chill out in

We went at lunchtime and they were very busy but nothing was a problem. The upstairs was great...beside an open balcony and plenty of fresh air on this very hot day. Decor well thought out and easy on the eye. Very central and easy to find. Food was great.
