The doorman called Pete was very welcoming on my night out even cheekily asked for my ID when clearly old enough!

Stopped in to enjoy some wine and beer on the outdoor patio on a warm sunny afternoon. Very friendly staff at the bar.

Renovations are very welcome, especially the toilets. Though as a patron for 20+ years I am extremely disappointed by the newly introduced rolling GB News coverage, therefore cannot give the 5 stars sadly

The renovations are really nice all new carpets, tables and chairs. The large garden area is clean and tidy with lots of table and an outside TV.
Massive drink selection and TVs showing the sport inside. The staff are great! kind, courteous and really helpful.

We basically come here for Willow; the gorgeous pub cat who is over 20 years old!! The pub itself is good. Lots of sports. Pretty quiet on weekdays but not sure about a Sat / Fri night. Good Guiness (apparently).

Lovely little pub, with a great beer garden. Reasonably priced drinks, and lovely bar staff. Ladies was clean with a sign up to say to ask at the bar of you needed sanitary products,or if anyone was making you feel unsafe etc. I look forward to coming back.

Sadly none of the awesome burgers they used to do - or any hot food for that matter.
But the beer was good and theres a pub garden to watch sport in 👍
