Panera Bread

The only thing consistent with panera are their soups (which are frozen bagged) and pre-made paninis. I ordered the steak and cheese which of course is a dollar more but hey I love steak and cheese, hard to mess up steak and cheese- they were out of pickled onions so had me modify the order; I got sauce on the side and arugula and this sad piece of fatty meat garbage is what I got. No arugula no sauce only tears I can cry into my consistently delicious broccoli cheddar soup.

Dirtiest Panera ever. Turkey avocado sandwich was my favorite and they ruined it. It had some turkey wadded up golf ball looking and size. Not even enough to spread out on the bread 1 small size bacon also not enough to cover the bread. 1 thin slice of avocado not enough to cover the bread 1 thin slice of tomato. It was a one bite sandwich and toss the bread. Went and got lunch at Pho Bistro. The worst part at Panera was the manager doing interviews next to me. WHY? She was horrible to the applicant She told him if you put such little effort into your application what makes you think you'd put any effort into working in my store. How rude. She didn't have enough common sense not to do an interview in front of customers. Will never go back. There's plenty of normal Panera s out there.

The Winchester Panera really struggles with getting orders out in a timely manner. As a customer, there have been several occasions where I have placed to go orders and they have not been take to the shelf or the order ticket never got printed and the order didnt get made. Today, I stopped in for a coffee and a cookie. After I finished, I decided to DoorDash for a bit since I was at the store. I took an order that was to be picked up by 9:14. I was already at the store at 9:12. I waited 10 minutes (the order was only 2 items and 1 was pre-made and the store was not busy) before asking the status. I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. 10 more minutes go by. I was told it was almost ready. 10 more minutes go by (so 30 minutes now) and I finally asked for a manager. The female manager came out, obviously annoyed and asked what the problem was. I explained I had been waiting over 30 minutes at this point and needed to know the status of the order. She got snippy, did not apologize, said it would be ready in 1 minute and turned around and left. I waited the 1 minute and the order was still not ready so I was forced to cancel. My time is valuable and if Panera is going to treat the people who do their delivery service so poorly, they need to rethink if they should even offer ther service. I had been a customer that morning as well and I will say that after being treated the way I was as a delivery driver, I will not be eating at Panera again. Treat people well regardless.

This place has really gone down hill. At 10:15am, a few random bagles left and almost no bread. Tried to order an over easy bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, they were of course out of the brioche bun it should come on so I substituted for ciabatta bread and the attached image is the sad excuse for a sandwich I received. I asked the manager for a refund who was only trying to justify that the bread was larger then the brioche and that is the reason for its sad appearance. This was partially the case however the egg was particularly small, over cooked and had no yolk left. It was obvious that there was no care taken to construct this sandwich or to cook it. The restaurant itself was very dirty as were the tables and booth seats. I will no longer go to this location.
