Customer service is good but the food is not. I went there because I like Asiago cheese bagels and brown bag deli which is down the street only has plain bagels. I ordered a toasted Asiago bacon egg and cheese with only ONE egg, salt pepper ketchup. This was the worst $5.49 I ever spent! I swear the bacon was so burnt and it looked as if it was only once piece of bacon that they split into two there was hardly any bacon on it and I had to throw some of the egg away because it seems there was still too much egg on it. I will never get food from here again for breakfast. Customer service is good because I went to take it back and they gave me my money back with no problem. She said we put two eggs I said I told the guy ONE egg she apologized though so they get props for that.

Under different ownership, several years ago, this was a great place to grab a quick and delicious lunch. It has steadily declined, with fewer food options, poorer service and a dingy atmosphere. I waited 10 minutes, just to order a toasted bagel, after being passed by twice by people who came in after me. And there were three people working, also they seemed disorganized. the cream cheese on the bagel, which cost 75 cents extra, barely scraped over the surface. I had to use 3 different coffee urns, to get a full cup of coffee, at 10 am! I gave it one star for existing in a convenient location, and one star for edible food. I won't be going back; there are far too many nicer places. The cashier, who I believe is also the manager/owner, just laughed when I complained.

Rodney Grille is one of the best places to eat in Wilmington! They have a huge livery and set up too. variety of wonderful food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owners know a lot of customers by name and treat them like family. I worked there in a management position and only left because I moved downstate. The are very clean and have the health department reviews to prove the level of cleanliness and Serv Safe standards are met and beyond. I recommend Rodney Grille for your catering and dining pleasures. Catering is available with delivery and set up too. The prices are very competitive for downtown! Ugggghhh. I used to love this place. They are pretty quick and I love the small salad option. HOWEVER. First, there was a frog in their salads. Then, a coworker was finding hairs in the salad. And FINALLY I chomped down in a piece of metal that almost cracked my tooth. Now I'm really freaked out to go back. I definitely want to but if I do I will be watching carefully and examining every bite. Definitely not the cleanest location in downtown Wilmington...

I really wanted to give this place a better review and rating, but it's definitely true that one bad apple could spoil the bunch. I came to this place a few days ago and I received some very great customer service from the two ladies on duty.. today I walk in and neither of those employees were on duty, instead it was one lady who seemed to be having an ok morning, I walked in and waited in line to order as there were 3 customers ahead of me. I waited a total of 5 good minutes as she finished orders and checking out the last person, at this point another customer comes in behind me, and the cook comes to take our orders.. she looks at me, looks the other way then asks the customer behind me for her order as if she didn't see didn't already know I was waiting for her. The customer corrected her and told her I was here first then when I FINALLY got her full attention she was VERY un interested and showed a dramatic difference in how she serviced her other customers. I would hate to think this was a racial situation (Im Black American male, the other customer behind me was a white American female), but this was my experiences coming here twice in one week. But the food is great so i will return but refuse to order from the lady that was there today. Great food! Just hard to find good help these days.

I managed this place for a while. It was quite disturbing how little they cared about food safety. For years they kept the chicken and beef in a broken cooler, at room temperature, all day. I can't imagine how many people got sick from that alone. Everything was filthy where the customers couldnt go. They werent washing any produce and it often sat on the dirty floor in the cooler. Eat at your own risk.
