Ruby Tuesday

2018-04-05 as always, I call in and Amanda takes my order and takes good care of me. Food was good, service was even better. 2017-11-28 I call in my order, ask to place an order at the bar, Amanda the bartender always remembers my order, and she has it ready for me to arrive, sit down and eat. Thank you Amanda! 2017-10-13 wow they get 5 stars, today! Called, placed order for a burger, they told me it will be ready in 20 minutes, since I wanted the burger cooked well done, I arrived exactly 20 minutes later, parked in the To Go parking and walked in the To Go door, and saw my order in a bag sitting on the bar with my name on it. Lady bartender was nice to talk to while I pay for my order, and I left. That's excellent service! Took the burger home, ate it and it was good! 1 year prior, I said, The salad bar is good and the servers are usually pretty good.

This food was really great! The drinks not so much it sounds like they have these specials but they don't put much alcohol in them. The vegetables were remarkably good everything tasted fresh and not too spicy but nothing was Bland. We had a really great meal here! And then for dessert we had the hot cookie with ice cream on top o my it was worth every calorie it had it was done to perfection! I am very impressed with this Ruby Tuesday now I can't say all the Ruby Tuesdays are like this but this one in the Monticello shopping Center has a seriously well run restaurant!!! I wish you could have been a little bit cleaner and I really wish they had wiped off the menus better but other than that this place was perfect! And no, I do not know anyone who works there or owns the place!!

Our server was outstanding but the kitchen staff didn’t come through. My wife ordered a well done (no pink) that came out very undercooked. When she sent it back the server offered the salad bar while she waited which was very appreciated. When the burger came back they had attempted to better cook the burger my wife had cut in half which would have been ok but it had cheese on it and they burnt the cheese (it was charred) and still didn’t get the burger cooked properly. The kitchen staff ruined great service by our server.

The salad bar just needed to be started over for the day. There was nothing fresh on it, the already made salads were either dried out, rancid, or non existent. The "fresh" veggies weren't so fresh looking. The tables hadn't been wiped all the way, like several where we were seated including ours. The service wasn't bad neither was the food we ordered. I just wish someone had payed more attention to the salad bar seeings alot of people use that as their side. And cleanliness of the restaurant. At the mid day, where they weren't busy this is something that shouldn't be an issue. Will I go back...no thanks. And if your a server, please don't go for a smoke break in the middle of serving...because that's all the patrons can smell.

Sliders were over cooked and neatly burnt. Preferential treatment was given to other patrons who came in long after we did, and received their food ling before we did. Our waitress had to be flagged down to serve our table. She bristled briskly by our table without making eye contact and told us loudly, as she bypassed the table, that she was coming, but never did. That is, until she saw us complaining to the manager we summoned about the burnt sliders. The manager was friendly and professional, stating that the sliders were definitely overcooked. He took it off the bill and offered another dish for our table. On the other hand, our waitress then suddenly came over acting concerned. When we called her on our food taking well over 1/2 hour to receive and her over attention to other tables (non African Americans, of course) and her lack of service to ours, she made excuses and brushed it off. However, she did step up her game. I had the Turkey avocado burger which was hearty and fairly tasty. The broccoli was soggy and bland. Salad bar was stocked with fresh veggies and condiments.
