Mandarin Inn

I love Mandarin Inn. I'm asian & there are no nice asian restaurants in Whittier. The food is great! My bf loooves the beef & broccoli. I usually order sushi here & the raw meat seems to be fresh. I haven't had any food poisoning & I've been coming here for 7+ years. The sushi is quite large so you need to stuff your mouth or like me, just cut them up into smaller pieces. I can't complain when I get a lot of food. I love the fortune cookies they give at the end, which they used to give with almond cookies, but not anymore. The new location is much nicer. It's located where the old Alcpulco restaurant was. The service is great, always smiling and quick. We eat here at least once per week. There's also a flat screen televisions around so you can watch the Lakers, Clippers or any sports here as well. I definitely recommend this place.

I am very disappointed in the food on our last visit to Mandarin Inn friday 6-14-2013. I was so discusted with the choice I made from the menu (Scallops with Mushrooms) Yuck horrible the mushrooms were like huge pieces of dung (crap). OMG I wanted to vomit after dinner and to top it off my husband and I both got sick from the food. You can definately tell when there is a good chef and a bad chef on duty. Think twice before walking thru those doors, we have eaten there for the last time. It is hard to find good chineese food these days. Teresa
