Been coming here for the last year the owner lis very polite great fresh sushi better than some restaurants 💯 fresh fresh salmon tuna , octopus all of it is high end I know of people to drive from Irvine all the way to this hole in the wall mom and pop family spot I do recommend . anyone who says my review is not correct is lying .

I had previously given this place a 5 star review: Tasty food, AMAZING serving sizes for the price, the highly-coveted “unlimited toppings”, and up until tonight— wonderful staff. However, this evening we had a horrifying experience!! I jumped into the car as soon as my friend made it over from hollywood and we rushed to make it before closing time, arriving at 8:45pm with 15 minutes to spare. As soon as we walked in we were met with a curt attitude from the young woman behind the counter asking us to “make this quick”. Well, we come here quite often and order the same thing every time... we can’t possibly order faster. But in her unduly extreme sense of urgency, she rushed through our orders and COMPLETELY messed mine up. I asked for a mix of sauces with “just a TINY bit of eel sauce.” And she doused it. There’s no recovery once the sauce is on there. And of course I felt so pressured by her behavior that I didn’t ask for it to be redone (huge regret). I was shocked and commented on the mistake, but she just asked if I wanted any dry toppings. I said “No it’s fine” because I was afraid to interact with the uncomfortable haste, but now there’s about 52 grams of corn syrup my “salad-based” bowl is swimming in. I’m disgusted, disappointment, and out $17 for a meal I don’t want to touch. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I’m shocked that she in any way feels it was acceptable or appropriate to treat us that way. If this were my first time there I would give it one star and never come back. But like I said, we come often and have openly appreciated the staff other times... so, 3 stars for them.

I've tried a couple of different poké places in the area and I keep coming back here. For the price, what you get is a great deal. The fish is fresher than any other place I've been and they are very generous with their toppings. Next time I'm in town visiting, I will definitely visit Poke & Roll again.

Spicy tuna a bit too spicy, regular tuna was nice but room temp, salmon wasnt prepped properly and looked slimy so i didnt bother eating it , California roll just bland and warm the tuna was a bit warm when served Wasabi looks bright and fake... Your better off getting sushi from the amazon market up the street, its fresher and better priced...... Wouldnt recommend this place.. First and last time for me.........

This place is pretty good. The quality of the fish is decent. The portion sizes are really good (I got a medium = 3 types of protein). It's a pretty small place (can only seat about 4-5 people). So this likely a good take out option. The service was quick and staff friendly. They do have a unisex restroom. No alcohol. All in all a good local spot.
