Masataco

This was my first time at Masataco and it was an amazing place for a birthday dinner! We ordered way too much food because everything looked so good 😆 and it WAS so good. We took a bunch home, so we even got more meals out of the deal! The staff was friendly and patient and answered all of our questions. I also really loved how attentive they were to my Aunt's allergy. They communicated what to stay away from and how they were preventing cross-contamination. (As a vegan, I also appreciated that the whole menu was vegan, but meat-eaters could make some substitutions if they wanted 😂 I'm so used to the other way around!)

Lacking flavor. We had breakfast. Maybe the tacos are better. We had three different meals and they are lacking creativity. Could make all these at home with better flavor. If you charge 14 for chips and mole it better be the best mole in the world. You can not have an ingredient in the menu show up as a garnish. Long drive. So disappointed. Oh dont waste your money on the coffee. Instant coffee packs taste better.

Seriously, top 5 places to eat vegan food ever. I wish they were a little faster cause it takes a while to get the food, but it is so worth the wait. I loved their cauliflower wings and their sopes were beyond amazing. Can't go wrong with the tacos either. We had both the vegan carne asada and the vegan carnitas and both were flavorful. The jackfruit pozole was bomb too. Add in the fixings to your liking and it's the perfect fall meal. We went here 3 days in a row while we were in town cause they were that good. Keep doing what you're doing!

The food was okay, nothing too flavorful. But I did like how everything is organic. I would say that this place is more of a $$$ instead of a $$. At $4 per taco, the price escalates pretty fast. The cashier was helpful in explaining what was in their dishes for a newby. They have paper plates instead of styrofoam, and their straws are made of compostable plant-based materials. It's these little details that make you see why their prices are above average. Looks like they care about the waste they leave behind.

The food here is so fresh and amazing. My friend said it was the best chicken taco he’s ever had in his life, and he’s not one to exaggerate. It did take a little too long to get food, and I get that everything’s made to order, more or less, but they need to figure something else out. We weren’t in a rush, so it was fine. But had we have been, it wouldn’t be a good idea to have eaten here. Regardless, the food was top notch.

This must have been my 50th item from masataco. Not exaggerating! I've ordered taco Tuesday tacos for not only myself but numerous other people. I've defended them when friends I've referred said it was a huge waste of $70 worth of food. I've constantly post their food on Instagram & even repost their specials. I decided to order from them on uber eats for probably the 4th time.My order was COMPLETELY WRONG it was missing black beans,corn, pasilla,quinoa, rice,mushrooms, sprouts,squash, and tofu feta. That is literally 9 items masataco has failed to add to my order.I only asked for 3 items to be excluded: tomato, kale & cilantro. I didn't ask to only receive spinach, broccoli, carrots and my protein option. I'm very disappointed with my order. The moment I received my order I immediately placed a help ticket on uber eats because where is the rest of my meal?!?!? I was expecting some kind of buddha bowl given the fact that the "I'm on no carbs" item contains quinoa and rice. I was not expecting a spinach salad.
