Phoholic

My brother was like yo man do you want to drive to Westminster from the 626 just to get pho and banh mi? I was like okay, sure. Boy howdy, I'm glad we did because phoholic delivered in spades. The wait looked intimidating, but we got seated right away. Protip: don't park in the restaurant parking lot on crowded days, park elsewhere that is willing. Food was served lighting fast and pipping hot. The broth is divine, very meaty, full of flavor with a slight bit of sweetness for an overall well-rounded soup. The flat noodles are also a nice surprise. Even the rare beef steak was tender! The ox-tail piece is large, but a little on the tougher side. The beef rib is tender and oh man filled with so much flavor. Even the soup the beef rib or the tendon rib comes in tastes different from the one in your soup bowl. Additionally using scissors to cut off lumps of tendon or beef meat is a fun activity between guzzling down soup and noodles. I never finish the whole bowl's broth, but I finished my own soup bowl and the broth the beef ribs came in. Un-pho-gettable.

OK this is a high pace, quick table turnover place. You're not coming here for ambiance or customer service, you're coming here for the food. Once you sit down, be ready to order. Check the menu while you're waiting for your seat because they waste no time to put your order in. That being said, the pho broth is on point! We got extra ribs on the side but it really wasn't necessary. If you're a big eater, go for it. Otherwise your typical combo bowl is more than enough. It was a 40 min wait on a Sunday lunch hour. Will be back if we're around OC.

This was hands down the best pho I've ever had. I grew up in mostly Asian places and I've had pho a few times but I never understood what was so special. A meal here made me realize that I've never had good pho. They're also really generous with their portions and very fast with service. I also love the atmosphere of the restaurant. While the seating is indoors, the restaurant reminded me of the bustling hole-in-the-wall restaurants I'd eat at in Asia. 10/10

Our family came to California for a vacation. We heard about this place, so we really wanted to try it . We are glad we did . The pho was fantastic, broth was delicious. They were not frugal on meat as well. I was quite full after . $14.99 was for "dac biet' wasn't called that though, pretty much the same ingredients as in Calgary where we are from. There are extras you can add as well, I did rare beef on the side and a couple ribs that I shared with the wife. Even my Son liked this place , he is quite a Pho connoisseur. He gave it a 9.5/10. There is basically no parking though, I would suggest to get someone to get out and put your name on the list if there is a long line up. While you go get parking somewhere. We got parking next door to vegetarian restaurant beside , my Mother asked permission and the very nice owner let us park. We are thinking people have had their car towed before , because there were no cars there .My mother out of gratitude bought little cakes from them . They were pretty good actually.
