Glaze Bakery

I decided that I wanted cupcakes for a birthday party instead of the traditional cake. But I hate the greasy frosting used by all the store bakeries. I did a Google search for local bakeries and found Glaze. I can't even begin to tell you how extremely happy I am with the cupcakes I ordered! From the start of our phone conversation, they walked me through all the possibilities, and helped me order the perfect cupcakes for the party. When I hung up the phone I was really excited to try the delicious sounding cupcakes!! They were friendly and honestly happy when I picked them up. I noticed the bakery was a quaint little place with seating and a cozy atmosphere. The cupcakes were a HUGE hit!! Definitely not your grocery store bakery cupcakes. I will use Glaze for all my bakery needs in the future. Quality products with affordable pricing!!

Everything Glaze Bakery made for our wedding was delicious! For our rehearsal dinner, they made a variety of pies that were all scrumptious and eagerly eaten by our guests. The day of the wedding they made us lemon bars, s'mores bars, caramel brownies, German chocolate bars, and lemon and chocolate raspberry mini-cupcakes. All of the desserts were ridiculously tasty and irresistible. My father, a Type-2 diabetic, went back for seconds and thirds because of how delicious everything was. It’s been almost a week and we’re still munching on the leftovers we brought home! Whether it’s for an event or your just in the mood for something sweet, I would highly recommend checking out Glaze Bakery.

Glaze is an interesting little bakery! Unfortunately, they seem to have something against baking more than six donuts in a day, and if you arrive later than perhaps 9:30 or so, you can count on them being completely out of at least half of their selection. The actual baked goods are about average, they taste exactly like the stuff you would get from Safeway or Fred Meyer. Their sandwiches, though, are excellent, and very large! The parking, as noted in other reviews, is terrible, with just a tiny handful of road-side parallel parking spots, most of which are usually taken up by residents of the apartment complex. As long as you are prepared to walk a couple blocks, you can easily park down near the park and walk up Riverside Drive if you need to, it's just a tad bit of a walk. Overall not a great place, not a terrible place, and great for lunch if you don't want any baked goods. About average. If you're close, it's worth stopping past. If you're looking deliberately for a bakery, roll up the road to Cashmere and check out the selections there!
