Hop

Around Halloween me and a group, aged 30 and up went to midtown first. It was ridiculously packed and was aggravating. I’ve never been to Hop and agreed so we could get our party started. Omg I had so much fun and don’t even want to bother going to midtown anymore. The atmosphere is so fun and the jams they had on I was positive DJ was bluetoothed to my phone on my “ol’school playlist”! It was actually nice to not be bothered by any youngsters, stupidity etc. We had a blast and I can’t wait to go again!

The only thing I have a problem with is whichever DJ is in the booth, last night I saw two get in there at around midnight and right in the middle of a song. . While a bunch of us are dancing, it turns into story time. I don't know if this guy was wanting us to run up and grab an autograph or what. Dude seriously shut up! Stop bragging! The band I played with was invited to play monsters of Rock in the '80s. Not once twice! I played before venues number in 75,000 plus as lead guitar. You never know who is hanging out in your club! No body knows who I am.

Visited for the first time this last weekend, and this will be the first of many visits, I am quite sure! Came in from Dallas with my GF; she has talked MUCH about this place, and set a great expectation that was exceeded, and we will be back for more.! Great prices on drinks! Excellent music! Diverse crowd! Fantastic lighting! Great atmosphere for some great fun!

Go there to dance. People are friendly and the music makes your feet start stepping. I injured my back was paralyzed for 10 weeks then started working on my walking. My girlfriend took me there for the exercise. I used to constantly hold onto things so I wouldn't fall. 11/20/21 I seldom have to hold onto things and I'm getting better and will be there dancing again soon. It's been a great place to go emotionally and physically cause the people are friendly. See you soon!

If you like to dance this is the dance floor to do it. The floor isn't slippery. I think there is a new DJ. The music lineup has changed. Thursday nights are ladies night and there is no cover for ladies. The bartenders and waitstaff have always been attentive. I hear the owner is investing some more into the rear patio and the restrooms. There is no longer a restroom attendant. Oh wear a shirt with a collar. There is a bit of a dress code. Great place to go dancing. Thursday is ladies night, no cover for ladies! It does need a bit of updating.(what 30 year old club doesn't) The bartenders are attentive to all humans no matter what nationality or gender. They are so patient! I have seen some "winners" that I would lose patience with, and the tenders just make their drinks without batting an eye. I hear the owner found someone to help him get the place looking better and setting up the new enclosed patio. The bathroom is unattended now. I'm grateful for that.
