Cuco's

We had 3 waiters take our order, they lost our order again. No one noticed us for the first 30 minutes. It took an hour and a half to get our order, 4 tabels came in about an hour after we got there. By the time we got our food they were already done with theres. It was the worst service i have ever had.

First visit to Cuco's Mexican Restaurant in Waunakee. Not too busy when we arrived, greeted by friendly server and seated right away. Ordered a couple of house margarita's, although they were tasty they are small. Asked if we would like some salsa and chips, "sure" we responded - only to find that we were charged for them on our bill. I tried the Pollo Fundido and "she" had the shrimp chimichangas - our meals were good but not great. I never like to judge the quality of the food and the quality of the experience by the amount of the bill, but in this case I have to say the food quality doesn't match the $65 spent for two with a couple of margaritas...and chips and salsa and extra sour cream. With all that said, our server was friendly and attentive, food was average, and experience was average at best. I think they can do better.

This was my first time eating Cuco’s. I placed an online order for pick up and it went seamlessly. The order was ready promptly and on time. The food was packaged nicely and I was pleasantly surprised that they even included chips and salsa (since dine in customers get chips and salsa to start). The food was amazing! I got a chicken quesadilla, cheese quesadilla for the kids and beef taco’s. Everything was absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to eat there again.
