Fresh Shop

I was really excited when I heard about this cafe but sadly it did not meet expectations. There was no one at the till serving for a long time when I entered and had to wait until someone from the back finally came. I ordered hot dogs for me and my partner which were quite average - but then there was a hair in my fries that completely put me off.

Lovely local cafe with very friendly staff. Good for coffee, cakes and pastries. Nicer than the chains and generally cheaper than the other really nice places in town. For parents they have high chairs, though there aren't many places you can squeeze them in - it's never been so busy for this to be a problem though.

I adore this place. I must have been five or more times since it opened earlier this year, and it's become my go to place when I have anyone visiting or if I'm meeting someone. It has a lovely, friendly atmosphere with great service. I've tried a variety of omelettes, pancakes and paninis and all have been delicious and beautifully presented, and the girls who run the place have always been very accommodating of any requests. My mum also assures me the coffee is excellent. I've not yet eaten an evening meal here or tried the wine bar (although I hope to this week!) but I'm confident that both will be as fabulous as my prior experiences have led me to expect. It's also usually delightfully quiet and peaceful, although I don't imagine it will stay this way once word has spread! Highly recommended.

Lovely little cosy cafe. Unfortunately the afternoon tea was just not up to scratch. Tea was served in a (milk jug) not a teapot with only one tea bag! There was 3 of us! Sandwiches were stale looks like they were left there for hours before we arrived hunst the table was all set up. Very upsetting and will not return again.

My favorite place for coffee ! Just when you think Watford is all about big chains and fast food, this lovely indie coffee shop will prove you wrong ! Conveniently located within a one-minute walk from the High Street and the Intu Mall, it doubles as a laid back and cosy lounge. Great and well priced coffee, nice homemade food, a friendly staff with a great sense of humour, and enough comfy chairs and table for you to really feel at home ! Try it !

My partner and I have just moved back into the area and we've been itching to find a cafe with lovely treats and quality coffee, boy did we find a treasure! Perfect desserts and coffee, will be back again and again. We also love the idea of having live music and opening late, feels very american will definitely check it all out and come down for a cheeky drink. Hospitality was very warm, was refreshing as its very hard to find good customer service these days! Hooray for Fresh shop! Ps very comfy seats
