Coffee & Bagels

I had fumbled when doing my initial rating, so the number of stars on this review is accurate. Actually, I love this Caribou coffee/Einstein bagel shop. The staff is nice, the location is convenient and I really love the French Toast bagel; wish they still had the maple cream cheese... Maybe they'll bring it back.

I always expect to wait to get Einstein Bagels. Today was terrible. They put out my to go order for dine in and it sat around for 10 minutes before I said something and asked for it to be remade. Next sandwich was mine again and they claimed it was for a dine in customer who had just ordered. So they give priority to dine in customers? Shortly after they were all in the back yelling at each other instead of making food. Got my food after 30 minutes of waiting and being passed up by a few dine in orders. NEVER eating here again. Edit: Got home to eat the sandwiches. Had 4 warm sandwiches and one freezing cold one. They never remade the sandwich. This place needs new management.

I like this place and so do my kids. Food is good, atmosphere is nice with big windows to let light in. There is a fireplace too for a warm cozy atmosphere. On my most recent visit though, when asked if me and my 2 kids wanted our items to go, I said no, we'd be eating in. The lady who took our order and my money said, "Well, we DO close at 5:00." This was at 4:00. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by ordering food and hour before closing. Still, we like this place and will come back.

I work across the street so my staff and I often go here. The food is really great...IF you actually get what you ordered. I can honestly say about 70% of the time our orders are screwed up which can be really frustrating when you only have a half hour lunch and don't have time to run back and have it fixed. As a manager myself I hate having unnecessary complaints but when we've called or gone back there is no sense of want or urgency to fix the issue. After yet another screw up in my order today I doubt I will be going back.
