Edit x2: Got the Sam's omelette. Didn't disappoint. So good! Edit: Still a really nice place for an early morning start during the weekend. Wait staff are friendly and food is great. Tried the super hopple popple. It's very good and filling, but I made the mistake of choosing American cheese. Don't do the meal a disservice. If I had to do it over again, I'd have chosen a milder cheese like Swiss. Other than that, great experience. I want to get the Sam's omelette next time. Spinach and feta? Yes, please! Very nice spot on Main Street in Waterford. After-church time wasn't too busy, and the service was polite, attentive, and friendly. Food was delicious. Fun fusion of Mediterranean food, which we didn't expect, but the Greek breakfast skillet was great!

Wife had short stack. There wasn't any stack to it. Pancakes were tiny thin as crepes and 1/4 of each were black on top. Cmon, pancakes batter is cheap as heck. If you see you burned a little toss it out an start over. Small an thin, I told my wife I'd be embarrassed if I owned this place an saw that come to the table. My meal was meat lover skillet. Eggs were cooked perfectly flavor was good but here again there couldn't of been a half cup of Hashbrowns under it. Extremely small portion for $11+. I read all the good reviews but I'm sorry I can't join them. 2 stars because the waitress was great and the place was very clean

I have been frequenting Cafe 36 since it was Sam’s in Tichigan. Such a nice warm atmosphere with quality dishes and friendly service. Sam is a wonderful person who doesn’t mind taking a few minutes to say hi. You leave the cafe feeling more like a guest than a customer. (I definitely recommend trying one of the tasty Mediterranean options on the menu.)
