Ms. Potato

I remember going to this mall 50 years ago. It was always busy with every store and every kiosk open. There were so many people at times that it was hard to walk. When I went to the mall a couple of weeks ago, it was almost empty with 1 out of 4 stores closed. It was still well kept but I felt sad that its heyday is past but I still have and all the good memories.

Very sad to see what has become of this mall. I've been a resident of Connecticut for about 22 years and remember coming to this mall for everything. In recent years the major flagship stores such as Macy's,Footlocker, and Sears have left so it's only a few stores left to go to. I have to travel 45 mins to and hour to shop any place decent. They're rumors that it's shutting down. I hope not. It needs business desperately.

This mall definitely is starting to die compared to what it was like pre-Covid. There's a few little stores I like and I love the All-Year Dairy Queen. The DQ in Groton is only open in Summer. Also I like the Sarku Japan for the sushi, and the FroYo World. Even though it seems to be dying I really hope it stays so it can keep my favorite food places open. ❤️🙏

The small is definitely in decline since it lost some of its anchor stores. It's really unfortunate to see because honestly it's one of the better malls out there. There are little alcoves throughout the mall with comfortable chairs and coffee tables to relax, drink your latte and people watch. You won't find that in many other places and it's a fun way to kill a little time

Crystal Mall in Waterford CT. Everytime I come visit I have to go to the mall to visit Ebony and Ivory great product and friendly staff Mrs.Jackie and her Husband are great people. You've wigs, to costume jewelry to scarf and head wraps, lotion and shampoo. I always leave with something when I come here. So many other stores and a food court on the first floor.
