Fishscale

Stopped by while on a campus tour with my son last week. Tried the Jerk Cheesesteak with catfish with Japanese sweet potatoes and it absolutely delicious!! My son had the True Blue Maryland Crab burger. Actually he had 2 (Lol) because it was that good. Loved the concept, the friendly owners, and the food was just flat out good. I'll be stopping through whenever I'm town!

FishScale was a breath of fresh air compared to the service I have received everywhere else in the DMV area. I told the male owner it was my first time and he gave me a breakdown of the whole menu, description of the fish and how it was caught, and he was happy the entire time. I received my food in a timely manner, and it tasted great and fresh. The corn pudding was amazing and a must have side dish when you come. I came outside of peak hours, so I was able to sit comfortably, if you come during peak hours expect to have difficulty finding seating because there are two 4-seat tables and two 2-seat tables as seen in the pictures posted by the owner. The prices were comparable, in some cases lower, than similar dining experiences in the DMV, but all of their fish is fresh and they take pride in offering the best seafood available in the region. The brother and sister owners take pride in their restaurant and will keep customer service and satisfaction the number one priority.

FishScale is incredible in multiple ways. The People working were friendly and informative. The restaurant and it's bathroom very clean. All ingredients noticeably fresh. 3 of us had the crab burger. It was original and very good. I had the Japanese sweet potatoes as my side. They were delicious. My wife had the blue catfish Mumbo over rice. It is the best catfish she has ever eaten.. They were delicious. I told the brother and sister who own the restaurant that they have created something very special. I highly recommend eating at FishScale.
