Absolutely amazing place… The service was amazing, we got free cookies as we were coming there for the first time. Everyone was very kind and friendly. And food was amazing and for a very good price! 🙏

I love you 3rd St!!! I’ve been in the neighborhood for a while now and this is always my go up iron. Tons of yummy local snacks, and I love the iced tea 😍 staff is obviously my favorite thing about the store, always happy to see you it makes my day every time!

This place is cute and historical! Sooo many cute yummy snacks! I wish i had spent a bit more time perusing! Grabbed a mocha latte and it was perfect! I forgot to tell the barista half sweet (the average mocha is like drinking a bottle of sugar so i always tell baristas to go light) but i didnt have to this time! She got it perfect without me having to tell her. I will defintely come again

Great location, stopped in every morning for breakfast sandwiches and multiple times for lunch while in town. Food was great and they had a good selection of other items for snacks and drinks.

Excellent lattes, sandwiches, beer/wine and food goods. They support and off a lot of local options. Italian sandwich and a blind dog chocolate chip cookie are my go-to. There’s a little patio at the side too. Invaluable part of the community that also supports this community! Love this place

BLT+avocado absolutely hit the spot for lunch! Big sandwich, lots of ingredients and sauce, and really tasty bread made this an epic sandwich. Will definitely come back again to try more of the menu!

Amazing team! They made my morning this morning! I can’t believe they had compass coffee right down the street. Oh and if you haven’t tried the dirty chai tea latte it’s a must!

Great local deli/grocer! They serve Compass Coffee and the shelves are stocked with items from other D.C. owned businesses. Food wise you can’t go wrong. I admittedly opt for sandwiches 95% of the time — the turkey & cheese, tuna sandwich, and Italian sub (OMG THE ITALIAN SUB!!!!) are delicious. They also leave treats out for your dog which is just the sweetest. Highly recommend.

I live this place. It feels like home. Especially since it reminds me of my childhood growing up here in DC. It’s nice to have a corner grocery store you know you can run in and pick up a few things you need or want. Friendly staff is such an understatement. The staff here rocks and I love them. Great products and good food (I’m VERY partial to the bagel bites) and a cool place to support other locals.
