Cafe Divan

This has got to be the best Turkish restaurant in the Northern Hemisphere. We visited our friends who live in Arlington for a couple of days and we came here for lunch. The owners are one of the most kindest and loving people i have ever met, only aim to please. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and so fresh! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic Turkish cuisine! 5 BIG GOLD STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After several visits this restaurant remains a DC favorite. The food is wonderful and service is excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting a friendly new server who has just arrived from Turkey. Not only was her service excellent but she also recovered my wallet which I had inadvertently dropped when leaving the restaurant. I am grateful for her diligence.

Cafe Divan is a uniquely shaped Turkish restaurant in the heart of Georgetown, DC. It has beautiful full floor-to-ceiling windows that gives it a special view from inside the triangular shaped building, which sits on the corner intersection of Wisconsin and 34th Street. The food was served promptly and hot! Very tasty "pide" (pronounced "p-day") - a Turkish pizza, tomato salad, and a ganache styled chocolate cake! 😋 The staff was very friendly and also spoke Turkish! I did struggle a bit going down the narrow stairs w/ slightly short ceilings. I'm over 6 feet. I did notice a few flies inside the restaurant that I pointed out to the staff. Luckily, we weren't interrupted during our meal by the pests. Maybe the staff swatted them? Idk? 🤷🏾‍♂️ All-in-all, a really nice dining experience.

Very delicious! Don’t miss out on the best Turkish food in Washington DC. Food is very delicious love its fresh ingredients and chefs' signature dishes. Customer service is 10/10 The restaurant has two environments inside with nice chill music and great ac for summertime is on point. The outside to enjoy the weather. Love the views since the restaurant has a triangle design which makes it very unique and romantic for a great conversation with friends or a date. All the plates are going to amaze you!

Authentic Turkish cuisine and desert! Divan Mixed Platter is an exceptional choice and it really worths to try. Iskander kebab was really tender and delicious, the tomato sauce was not enough but the waitress brought us a big bowl of sauce free of charge. Kunefe and Sutlac were perfect and highly recommended! Overall, it was a great experience and highly recommended.
