Kool Kone

Great ice cream, quick service, friendly staff. They've got a lot of great flavors. Strawberry shortcake, Milky Way and strawberry cheesecake just to name my favorites. The portions are good for the price, and you don't end up with more than you can eat when you order a small cone, which is great because I dislike wasting food. Vegans you're welcome too, they've got flavors for you! Not in the mood for dairy? Stop in for some food, live entertainment and a relaxing time near the woods.

Disappointed with this place 4 out of 5 times, and never going back if it can be avoided. Despite being on Phantom Gourmet and consistently listed as a top spot to get fried seafood on the Cape, Kool Kone is seemingly ‘Konstantly Klosed’ for weeks at a time during the summer months without any notice on their already scant website or Facebook page. If you DO manage to catch them when they’re open, the seafood is pretty darn good…as long as you’re willing to shell out $30-40 at market price for a basic platter. Ultimately not worth the headache of gambling whether the place is going to be open for business or not when you drive out, and they sure as hell aren’t going to let you know until you’re already there.
