Panera Bread

Nice people. But food is extremely overpriced and very small portions. Paid $7 for a tiny piece of lettuce, which is sad considering you can buy a whole head for 98 cents at the store. salad was as big as my hand and came with a teaspoon of dressing. Better off going to HEB and getting a huge salad that’s loaded up for the same price or cheaper. In the photo I already ate half of it. Also see the difference between HEB and Panera….. Yea…. That

Panera has good sandwiches and salads. And, surprisingly, their coffee is as good as any in the fast food arena. But, where they need to improve is with their beverages. Considering the folks who most frequently dine at Panera are a bit more health conscious than most, why not offer fruit smoothies and the like?

The excellent food, great service, and well-implemented ordering system make this a fantastic Baylor-adjacent spot for a quick bite to eat. I’ve come here with my better half - who may or may not be a Panera addict - and the location’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer a nice view of the Baylor University campus. After ordering using the newly-installed tablets (intriguingly, they’re just iPads with a specialized Panera app) I got my sandwich and drink quickly. I would highly recommend this spot for locals looking for a quick bite and vibrant atmosphere or for travelers along Interstate-35 to stop, stretch their legs, and refuel (food-wise, as there is no gasoline available here; I would hate for a certain search giant’s ML models to misread this review).
