Momo House

First time trying Nepal cuisine and I like it! From my perspective I could taste some elements from other Asian food inside the food we had today. We ordered two appetizers and 1 momo platter for two of us who weren't that hungry. Akabare pork belly, so flavorful! It reminds me of my Taiwanese braised pork and soy sauce. I like it maintains its texture instead of fully soft. And I didn't expect the red sauce on the sides would be THAT spicy 🤣 People could choose to mix two flavors for the MOMO platter, so we have 4 vegetables+ 4 chicken. Basically they are dumplings and both of the flavors tasted good either alone or with the assigned sauces. The final dishes we have today were the chicken skewers. That creamy sauce contain nuts and I think I had similar flavors on some Indian dishes before. This plate was good too. Overall, the food, service, and price were all good. The welcoming lentil soup was something I won't know I need until I met it. I like it! Just that the dishes served slower than I expected. I would come try their entree (with naam) next time I visit!
