Ariane Kitchen & Bar

Fabulous night at Ariane celebrating my wife's birthday. Fresh croissants were at the table. My wife had the Puff the Magic Dragon and the Peace and Prosperity signature cocktails, and both were delicious, but the P&P eked out the win in the taste tests. I had the pigs in a blanket starter which was served with a nice tangy mustard dip. She had the side sampler and had the tater tots (really jalepeno croquettes), grits with mushrooms and cheese and grilled brussel sprouts. All three were exceptional. For the main course, I had the smashed burger, and my wife had the Mediterranean spiced Beyond Meat burger (olive red pepper hummus, tomato jam, raita, spinach vegan wrap, Arcadia mix salad). Both were great. Service was great. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Or water glasses were never empty. The only thing stopping those from 5 stars is s freezing cold breeze coming from somewhere (kitchen? Overhead vent?) We look forward to our return.

Turns out the best restaurant in Montclair is actually in Verona! Everything AKB does — from cocktails to small plates to entree sides — is done to perfection, blending perfectly together. I can’t recommend their bronzino enough; the beans and broccoli pair brilliantly with the perfectly grilled, light fish. Make this your next destination for a special occasion!

This restaurant was amazing! We've been wanting to come here for years and couldn't have been more pleased with our meal from start to finish. Everything was amazing from drinks, appetizers, dinners and dessert. The pork chop and chicken was the most tender we've ever had. The service was amazing too. They didn't rush us for any courses and we had a amazing chat with out server. The space itself is very large with all different kinds of seating areas. We would love to come back soon!

Lovely first experience☺ Service was prompt, professional but not stuffy or rushed. Appetizers were delicious. Main courses, a flavorful and well prepared stuffed chicken and burger. Drinks, decent wine list and a choice of sophisticated, high-quality flavorful cocktails. Saved us the cost and headache of driving to NYC.
