Ruby Tuesday

Haven't been here in a long time and after shopping decided to stop in for a late lunch. Six customers in total when we arrived. Waiter came to take her drink water. I asked if they had Cherry Coke I was informed no they didn't so I asked if they had Cherry syrup I was told they didn't have that either. My friend then questioned whether they didn't put cherries in any of their drinks and was told no they didn't so I ordered a root beer. Few minutes later he came back and told me that they had cherry syrup, cherry juice from the maraschino cherries and they also carry cherry Coke so I took the Cherry Coke. When he returned with it it was regular Coke. We ordered mozzarella sticks and coconut shrimp as an appetizer. My friend said she just wanted the salad bar for her meal. He came back and asked if I wanted a meal. I said I would take a cheeseburger well done and could I exchange the french fries for a cup of cheese broccoli soup he said that was perfectly acceptable. My friend was finished her salad and we were still waiting for our appetizers he rode with everything at the same time the coconut shrimp,the mozzarella sticks and the soup for red hot my cheeseburger was room temperature. He brought our bill and we had to ask for containers to take home. He brought one container to put what was left in my sandwich, the soup and the mozzarella sticks all together I had a request separate containers. Then I had to request a bag to put all the containers in. We're hoping that he was new and we're giving him a benefit of the doubt because the service sure wasn't worth the price of what we ended up paying.

Ruby Tuesday’s Vero Beach Date of service 1-19-2022 My wife and I local so we have been dining off an on at the Vero Beach Ruby Tuesday’s since it opened. They consistently have a decent salad bar. You have to work at it and special order items but you make it an okay choice for a low-carb-based meal. Date of this visit 1-13-2022. Kelsie is always our waitress whenever possible. She always remembers us, what we like and how we like it. She is always kind and friendly as well as quick and efficient at serving us. In my experience, it is hit or miss at many Ruby Tuesday’s as to whether or not they will cook items, like their salmon, to order (i.e. medium) or not. This one does which makes for a perfectly mouther-watering, buttery delicious piece of fish. We only every really order the salad bar and add grilled chicken and/or grilled salmon which they prepare very nicely (except with an occasion new cook, then it may require a re-order). What would make it a 4-5 star review for me? More grilled and healthy entrée and options that are scratch cooked with fresh spices and herds and not heavy starchy sauces. In my opinion the menu is mostly starch heavy, fried, or heavily sauce/gravy heavy that makes them taste like every other processed food, fast food chain.

This place is absolutely disgusting and I'm a bit disgusted with myself for staying and eating, but we were hungry. The moment you walk in, you're hit with a smell that reminds me of old dirty cleaning rags mixed with wet musty old carpet. The bathroom was horrendous. I've been to cleaner bathrooms on I-95 rest stops. There was dirt and gunk buildup around the faucets and corners of the counter. The stench of urine was terrible. The chairs in the dining room look as though the only cleaning they've ever received is from the pants of the customers. The sides of the chairs are covered with cakes on grime. The food... was equally as impressive. They can't even be bothered to fully apply sauce to the ribs you're paying $25 for. The other members of my party felt the chicken tenders were overcooked, but I knew better as someone that cooked professionally for 20 years. They weren't overcooked, I'd bet money they were cooked the proper amount of time in old, dirty oil. Our bill for 3 of us came to $86 plus tip and the only decent (I'm using that word generously) part was the French fries. Years ago, Ruby Tuesdays was a decent place with decent food, but they have clearly given up. This place is so dirty you'll need a shower immediately after visiting and the only way to clean it up now would be to gut the entire building. Stay away if you have any respect for yourself and your wallet. I plan to.

I used to like Ruby Tuesday but the last few times have been very disappointing. This time I got a bacon cheese burger with fries. It was terrible. It was a $13 burger. They gave me cold fries and the smallest amount and the worst of the batch. The burger was not cooked correctly and they didn't even add my pickes. It had the smallest piece of bacon I have ever seen as well. Our other two order where incorrect aswell. I dodn't think I will order from this place any longer. Three times in a row bad incorrect and overpriced orders. It honestly reminded me of school cafeteria food.

Went to our local Ruby Tuesday - wanted that salad bar!- and was very pleased. The food and prices were good, of course, but I want to compliment the staff from the hard working Host to the Servers. They were very pleasant and efficient. Haven’t been too impressed these days with restaurants/ staff, but I was today.

Walked in Sunday evening with my daughter for dinner, and after a host finally came he told us he didn't know if we could be seated because they were short-staffed but he would ask the waitress. There were maybe twelve people in the entire restaurant. Maybe someone could train staff not to treat customers like an inconvenience. When we finally were seated we waited for more than 5 minutes, but there was no waitress or waiter anywhere in sight, so we got up and walked out. I realize wait staff apparently are independently wealthy now and don't need to work, but how about you train your staff how to treat customers with courtesy. We have the option to eat elsewhere and we did.
