Cafe Longet

Amazing meal. Each course was spectacular, the asparagus salad was a big standout for how well all of the flavors melded together but the ingredients are an unlikely pairing. Also the gratin was the most amazing I've eaten. There was nothing we had that was short of delicious. Can't wait to come back.

What a spectacular experience! Classical French cuisine at it’s best! The service was friendly and efficient. The food was simply amazing. The escargot were delicious! The lamb special was off the charts! The mashed potatoes were sooo creamy and light. And for dessert we had the dark chocolate sorbet. Simply WOW! Chef Longet needs to be congratulated for bringing such high quality and delicious food to the west coast of Florida! Too bad you don’t have a restaurant up in Sarasota!

I wish I had taken photos of the entrées but alas, here are 3 of their delicious desserts. Chocolate créme brulée with raspberry sorbet, tiramisu, and a blueberry tart with vanilla bean ice cream. We shared the crab cake, and ordered beef short ribs and chicken wrapped in bacon for our entrées. Every single bite from start to finish was amazing. Wine list is short but offers a nice variety. We stopped in on our way from Tampa to Naples and we are so happy we did. Looking forward to another wonderful dinner here the next time we fly down from NJ!
