Joyful Cupcakes

Only good things to say! Not a usual stop for me, discovered it when researching the offerings for this year's hot chocolate festival. As soon as I saw the fig, ginger, pear hot chocolate listed, I started dreaming about it and made the trek across town. So glad I did. It was superb. I hope they use that exact flavor combo in future desserts. My daughter and I so tried one of their chocolate croissants, which was fresh and flaky, exactly as it should be. The pastry case was loaded with beautiful confections. I'd love to go back and try them all. They even had individual Lunar New Year sugar cookies that were a gorgeous red and gold. The shop staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. The bakery is very clean and there is ample pay parking out front. A cute little oasis perfect for a quick afternoon treat. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Blair and team worked with me to get a cake for a milestone birthday. Blair was always prompt to respond to emails. The cake was fantastic and better than I imagined. They were able to recreate the design image I provided. And went out of their way to get the cake I wanted. The service was exceptional and the cake was delicious and flavorful.

Both beautiful and delicious! Blair (General Manager) was so wonderful from the moment we reached out to inquire about getting our wedding cake from them. He was a clear communicator, flexible, and professional. We picked up a tasting box to-go, and that was also quite the fun experience with what seemed endless options (Amongst the mix and match, we tried their London Fog, Carrot Cake, and Double Chocolate Caramel Crunch cakes and they were all truly delicious. We ended up going with lemon curd, vanilla buttercream and lemon brown sugar cake). As for their design, we sent several photos of what we hoped the cake could look like, and left them to their creative thinking to create what you see in the attached photo which was spot on. The biggest win was that this cake managed survived a trip to a Southern gulf island from downtown Vancouver due to the amazing packaging and instructions for my friend who brought it over. We just had a cake testing for our wedding cake. It’s such a fun experience making your own cake and it’s delicious! I highly recommend it. Dealing with Blair was also an incredible experience: He is so professional, quick to answer all my questions, and very patient. Can’t wait to taste our wedding cake when the day comes. Thank you!

It was a breeze communicating with the team for a custom birthday cake. From start to the end, the process was seamless. Everyone absolutely loved the cake, it was a hit and one of the bests we tried so far in Vancouver. I also happened to try a fruit danish when I picked up the cake and it was to die for. Highly recommend!
