Wendy's

First off, it was not busy. We were the only ones waiting inside for food. Drive-through was not busy, no customers. There were plenty of employees behind the counter. I counted 7 which includes a shift manager. One was working the grill. The other 6 were standing between the pick-up counter and the walkway to the grill chit chatting. Socializing makes great team building, but ignoring a paying customer with an order for five sandwiches and one fry is just lazy. We waited 18 to 20 minutes to get our order. On a positive note, the order was accurate, but it was all cold. One employee, not the manager, did appologise for the wait. However, there were no attempts fix the problem. Needless to say, we will not go Wendy's again. There's local competition with better quality food that brings it out hot with a smile and no wait.

Wasn't sure exactly what I was going to order for the house. So instead of holding up there drive through (which was completely empty when I arrived), I pulled over and downloaded the app. After putting my order in I went and pulled around to find the drive through out to the street. I groaned and got in line, was through the line with my food in less than 10 minutes. It's been a long time since I received that kind of service from a fast food restaurant.

Sometimes the fries are a little undercooked, but Wendy's is the go-to place for my whole household if we want to get fries for a meal. They have less expensive fries than most places, & good quality for what they cost. They're sometimes out of stock on items (napkins, condiments), but overall this is a good place to get food. & most employees seem to enjoy the fast-paced environment, & they're all friendly. I even had one of the employees ask my pronouns to make sure (I'm he/him but most people gender me she/her at a glance), which was respectful & the highlight of my day.

I've always had fresh food and friendly service, however my last visit there their machine wouldn't run my card (it was their machine not my card because my account showed the charged then refunded purchase twice) and by some crazy happenstance I actually had cash on me that day because I wouldn't have been able to get my food because their machine wouldn't process cards.
