First off the food is amazing! The shrimp and grits were out of this world! It has a great atmosphere on the inlet and the servers are fantastic!

I can't believe that I haven't visited fat sam's before now. But I am so glad that I did.
I had the fried fish basket. It was $8 and included 2 pieces of flounder, fries, hush puppies and a drink, which is a bargain, because I have half of it left over for dinner. My husband had a BLT basket that includes fries and a drink, and my dogs had the chicken strips, which appeared to be fresh, and I also got a cheeseburger for all of us to try. None of us was disappointed, the food was so good.
I went there at about 11, I ordered at the window outside, and the food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The women were friendly, the place was immaculately clean and I will be going back this week. They are open until 2 p.m., and I can't wait to try the breakfast, I think that it's available all day.
The fish basket is the most expensive thing on the menu, most of the baskets are around 6 bucks, which is a really good deal. I highly recommend fat sam's for good food made fast.

Update. Not sure what had happened but the quality of food has dropped off. The food I received was under cooked and tasted like the griddle had just been cleaned very chemically taste. Very unpleasant experience.
