The Gallery Cafe

Upon entering we were hit with a pleasant smell coming from the bakery along with the aesthetic sage decor. It was really busy even early in the morning and we could tell why it's so popular due to the food being served. Luckily as soon as someone left the staff cleared the table leaving us somewhere to sit. My partner ordered a traditional breakfast , he said it was the best one he's had while doing the nc500 !!! I ordered the French toast , it was decadent and beautifully presented, matching its sweet taste. Although the French toast was really sweet the cream on the side as well as the rich cappuccino I got balanced it beautifully . Really huge portions as well as quality ingredients making it well worth the price paid. If I come back to Scotland, I'd definitely seek this place out again !!!

This is such a lovely cafe shop that serve delicious food and drinks. Me and my partner went into in the morning and they were very busy. Luckily we thought we had to takeout when some customers left opening up a table for us. We both had a cappuccino, I ordered the big breakfast which was delicious and my partner ordered a French toast which looked beautiful and very appetising. The place is quite small so tables are limited. Nice decor. I would come back if I do the nc500 again in the future. Its also quite responsibly priced. They only have 3 parking spots here as I couldn’t not park outside so I parked down the street abit and walked down. Highly recommend this place!!

Delicious breakfast, amazing pastries, and perfectly-brewed coffee drinks. The eggs and toast was creamy and buttery with perfectly crisp sourdough. The breakfast sandwich was large and filling. Our food was prepared fairly quickly and packed to go so we could take it with us on the ferry. Employees were very friendly and helpful. If you have time to stay, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
