Red Lobster

My daughter and I ate here after a long day of shopping. We had the biscuits of course, salad, and calamari before the meal. All were delicious and hit the spot. For our meal we had popcorn shrimp with loaded baked potato and one with fries. We also split a lobster pizza, which we knew we would be taking most of it home. Everything was delicious and we had the sweetest waitress. The food is always great here and we highly recommend!

First off the place was extremely nice and clean. We ate all you can eat shrimp and then the best shrimp that we've ever had. Food was simply perfectly seasoned hot and hardly any weight in between dishes. The waiter was right on key polite kept the food coming he was just simply awesome. This was a completely perfect dining experience. Thank you once again for the perfect meal perfect atmosphere and perfect service!!

Jennifer was an excellent waitress and very attentive. The manager, Nicky inquired if our meal was good, and we responded, excellent taste. I had the Monday unlimited shrimp special, selected Coconut Shrimp and Shrimp Scampi. Nicky brought our 2nd helping. Both were delicious, and I ate another order. My sister-in-law got the same, brother got grilled lobster and bacon wrapped scallops.I asked for extra tartar sauce. The meal came with a choice of a salad, garden and caesar.i got garden, they got Caesar. Both of them told me that their meals were also delicious, too. The staff was friendly. Even some of the customers struck up a conversation with us, too. Very friendly atmosphere. We are regular Red Lobster customers, first experience at this Tyler Texas location. Jennifer made us all an ice tea to drink on our travel back to Houston.

We visited the Red Lobster on Loop 323 in Tyler TX Wednesday, May 25. It was a compromise - I’m a steak fan, beloved husband loves shrimp. We were a bit ahead of the crowd - immediately seated. The lady who served us was by our side as soon as we seated and had our drinks back before I noted their 7 oz steak. BH already picked his shrimp, so our order went in quickly. Comfortable atmosphere, clean table/chairs, quiet enough to talk softly. Our came out perfect - loaded potato done, split, and filled, broccoli not raw, not overcooked, and the medium rare was perfect, warm center. He loved his shrimp, too! After we finished, BH asked the waitress to bring me a slice of cheesecake - and mentioned it was my favorite and our anniversary. My marvelous cheesecake came with “Happy Anniversary” in a taste raspberry sauce. I do hope you see how Our service really supplied the perfect anniversary dinner for a couple of old folks. I do believe others experience excellent service, too.

The food is pretty good most of the time but the issue is not the food, it’s the service. Most of the staff just stands around and will look at you standing at the door to be seated and walk right past you without saying anything. A lot of times they are sitting eating (maybe on break) and then someone clearly on the clock is just standing talking to them instead of helping customers. The majority are in a terrible mood and don’t look like they want to be bothered by customers whatsoever. I have always been a fan of red lobster, but won’t come back to this one. Hopefully management will deal with the attitudes one day.
