La Madeleine

MOLD!! Do NOT go! Save yourself from the food poisoning! My family and I went for lunch and it was a terrible experience. The little cups of jam they give for the bread had mold in it as you can see from the picture. When I brought it to the attention of the staff they did and said nothing! I showed them the mold and they acted so surprised and then they took the cup and that was it! No apology, no new jam, nothing! The manager didn’t even come talk to me to apologize. I was so disgusted I couldn’t eat anything further from this place.

This dry, hard brick looks nothing like the 4 cheese grilled cheese on the ad. It took 15 minutes to get and it was hard, cold, dry and the cheese was like dried glue. Took it back and the lady asked what was wrong. I told her to look at it, she just shrugged her shoulders like, "Meh" and then yelled to the cook "she don't want this!" Like I'm stupid. It was inedible They then discussed me with backs turned to me until I walked away. Total waste of $16

Food was just OK. This place is more like going to the chow hall, the cafeteria line, unless your in Framce at the move and pick at the train station, this does not lend to the French experience. I've had better crepes. Glasses were dirty, silverware was dirty. Pastry was good. Need to up your game, just cruising along in neutral.

Let me begin by saying, I never write reviews. This place flat out sucks! Not because of the food or the cleanliness, but because of the management/employees. I will not say all are bad, but those who are ruin it. La Madeline has stolen from me several times, either because they simply did not bring something to me and after several request for it still did not, or because they did not get my order at the register correct. I was coming every weekend, but I will never come again. I recommend you do not come here, unless management is changed.

DON'T go to this one, go to the one in Charlotte. Two stars because the staff were friendly. I was excited to eat here because of having been to the one in Charlotte. I am disappointed. I ordered the avocado toast, which had about a tablespoon of actual avocado on it (it looked like it had just been painted green), was INCREDIBLY salty (I'm a salt lover so this has literally never happened to me before). The salad could have been classified as a soup. Coffee was cold. Pastries were over cooked but okay. Will not be returning here.
