Mcdonald's

I am no longer going to this McDonald’s restaurant. Many times I visit because I am from the area. I sometimes visit during dinner/late night hours and each and every time wind up waiting in line for >15 minutes, sometimes even 30 minutes. I visit during breakfast most of the time and never really have any issues. But the problem that made me take my business elsewhere is the just lack of customer service. I came during the morning at 10:50am for a bagel sandwich. I had a $3 app coupon and when I gave the code at the speaker the person told me it wasn’t available. Then took my order anyway. I ordered the bagel and ice coffee. Get to the window and it’s $8, clearly the app coupon didn’t work. Tried to pull it up for the cashier and he said it only had points on the number, no coupon. I go to pull up the coupon again and it’s not there. So it ate my $3 bagel coupon, and it also wouldn’t let me use any other coupons for 10 minutes. Frustrated I leave the drive thru and go inside and wait for service at the counter. The cashier got the older manager. I explained what happened and he got a younger manager by the name of Angel I believe. I explained my situation to him, he barely even looked me in the eye and told me the app is a corporate problem. What do you mean? If technology is the future, then you stand behind the “app” you are promoting so heavily. I took my business down the street to Dunkin at Liberty and Chambers, and anytime I am in the mood for McDonald’s I go to the one on Cass St now. At least they are understanding, and more accommodating.
