Amazing food, the fish is more fresh than most AYCE places, wonderful variety, fast and efficient service, I enjoyed every plate I ordered and cannot wait to go again

Much worse than the original North York location. Rolls taste and look pre made. Half of what we ordered didn't come. We asked two different waitresses to follow up on certain items and nothing happened until we asked to speak to a manager. And then all of the dishes we ordered came. He was very nice and offered us a 10% discount if we paid cash. But that's not enough for me to go back. Despite the fact they have quail (in addition to the north York location's menu). I will say that the Scarborough locations decor and size is infinitely better for dining atmosphere but the food is terrible. Also many dishes were either bland or way too salty. No consistency. Such a huge disappointment because I love the north York location. Oh and the size of the pieces of sashimi was tiny! The pork skewers were so dry and tough and difficult to chew we thought it was the chicken hearts until the chicken hearts arrived.

Much better than the leslie location.

This is my 2nd time at Sushi Legend and I have to say the experience is way better than the leslie location. I was gonna go to the north york location today but unfortunately the electricity was cut off in that whole plaza so we decided to try out luck on the Scarborough branch.

This place is very spacious, about twice as large , besides they use Ipads instead of paper so you know what your order looks like. Most importantly, I believe the food tastes much better than the north york location.

Initially I wanted to give a 4 out of 5 cause I ordered 6 pieces of Salmon roses but they were never delivered, but I also bumped into one of the waitress upon leaving and cause her to drop the whole plate of food to the ground and she was very nice and told me no problem at all, so I guess I should give them another 0.5 point, :).

[Service]
It was a little difficult to get their attention when we first walked in but otherwise service was okay. They gave our party 10% off because it was my birthday, so make note of that!

[Food]
As some of you might know, AYCE restaurants are more about quantity and quality. I feel that Sushi Legend produces good teriyaki dishes, mediocre sushi, and great dessert. I will recommend that you order A LOT on your first menu sheet because believe it or not, the first installment is always better in quality. I'm going to tell you why, our second installment was filled with sashimi that wasn't as fresh and even my dad could tell you the difference (and trust me, he sucks at this stuff). The dessert is quite good, so make sure you order the creme brulee. Otherwise I think the restaurant boasts the same quality as their first one, if not better. I know I reviewed KAKA previously but this place is cheaper and my parents would rather come back to Sushi legend than KAKA.
Came here for the first time with some friends in a large group (10+) for the all you can eat dinner. We were seated in a long table made up of several smaller tables. It was very busy so we were pretty cramped beside the group next to us with a small space in between which gave us some issues later on. The space, while big, open and nice decor felt very stuffy and hot as the evening went on.

The food itself is really nothing too special. It's pretty on par with every other AYCE place I've eaten at, although I will note that their soy sauce is definitely watered down. However, they did have mackerel on the menu, which is not often served at AYCE places, and it was delicious. The dessert menu is pretty good, offering many options other than ice cream.

The main issue of the night was that the service was extremely disorganized. We kept getting food that we didn't order, but because we were such a large group, we didn't notice at first. However, we started to get things we didn't recognize at all and were wondering why this food was coming to us. We noticed that the group next to us had no food and were looking around, turns out, they were serving us the other table's food and we felt terrible. Obviously this is a problem because we weren't getting what we ordered and we were getting other table's orders that we would have to pay for unless we ate it. We let the staff know and they really didn't seem to understand. They kept bringing us more food, even after we told them to stop because we didn't order anymore.

Came to Sushi Legend on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch and had a good experience.

I don't frequent AYCE that often but I won't mind coming back again if my friends invite me to join.

Give yourself a lot of time. Even coming here on a Friday after 2:30 the service was still a little slow. It took us a hour and a half to finish our lunch. All the food we ordered took awhile to arrive and we were also served with food that we did not order.

I do like how their rolls and sushi are not a mega piece of rice ball. They were small bite size piece and at least you won't be overdose with carb. So if you are a big eater, you can order more pieces of different varieties.

Hot food is decent too. The tempura shrimp though as of small size but tasted fresh and not mushy. The beef ribs was well prepared.

There are also quite a good selection of dessert all served in mini portion. Good thing you can try quite a few of them but they all just sloppy prepared.

Sushi Legend is decent as an AYCE and if you are not too picky about Japanese food, you might enjoy the experience at a decent price point.

This newly opened location is noticeably bigger and brighter than the original. I had high hopes that it would offer the same quality food and service as the original, but was somewhat disappointed. As we sat down at our table, we started to realize that there is a disturbing issue, as we saw a fly circling above tables.Sushi, fortunately, kept its standard - fresh and tasty. But the desserts were very sloppy, and their Tiramisu was made differently from the North York location.
Service isn't high quality, but acceptable. Was seated in about 0.5 ~ 1.0 hour. Reservation recommended.

I do plan to revisit this location maybe after a few months as this place settles and improves.
