Every Valentine's day we come here in a past 10 years with my husband. Reservation is never an issue, situated in Grand Hotel downtown Toronto, this place is open 365 days in a year, and price is reasonable. Once upon a time, was a very beautiful Victorian style interior, which have been renovated into a modern version about 5 years ago. This place is excellent for a quiet romantic dinner. Summer time the patio is open as well. Service is always impeccable, quick and efficient. Accommodate your seating preferences, either the bar area with low tables and couches, or the regular white tablecloth setting you can choose from. Menu doesn't really change too much, we had rabbit soup at once, delicious lamb, unique beef dumpling, samosas, muscles, even mango Pavlova. I mean I can't list all the mouthwatering dishes what we ate here over the course of the years. Pictures will speak for themselves. Highly, highly recommend this place!

I stopped here for lunch before doing my massage exams in the hotel. I was there from noon until 2 ish and it was fairly quiet and a good place to study. After this it picked up. I ordered a diet coke (4$) a chicken club (16$) and a Latte (6$) All in all it was about 35$. Food was delicious and very fresh. I would definitely eat here again. My server Nicole was very polite!

The service is great, the location clean and comfortable. Lobster risotto. Lobster and rice both overcooked, rice grainy. Pumpkin bread pudding. The flavours were great, but I have a huge sweet tooth and found it sickly sweet. The ice cream was generic. I'd expect homemade or at least decent quality anywhere else. The wine by the glass options weren't impressive at all, and the beer selection was inferior to say the least. For the prices I'd rather eat elsewhere despite the convenience!

I’m reviewing Citrus a restaurant in The Grand Hotel and Suites in Toronto Ontario today. I do many reviews and recommendations but I have never given as high a mark or recommendations as I do to Citrus or The Grand Hotel and Suites in Toronto. I work in the Toronto area but travel with work to many places few have the total package that this Hotel and restaurant has. To begin with I have major food allergies.. I’ve never had issues here.. they care, they listen and they are friendly, and kind. The food is fresh, hot, beautiful flavoured, not rushed with ever attention to detail. I had recently left a review for the Grand Hotel so I’m unfortunately not allowed to do this again for a while. I do stay regularly at the Grand and I leave all the business details to Greg Egglesfield. I suggest booking directly through the restaurant and hotel. In closing I suggest breakfast Sunday Mornings at Citrus.. take the garden seating

We had such great service last night at this restaurant The chef has made a very interesting menu with a variety of combinations in foods that are yummy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from beginning to end The desserts were decadent, Our new waitress was a natural and followed in the footsteps of her trainer beautifully.. What a team We spent our evening enjoying the service and the food, We do not normally take our time like this...we felt spoiled.
