Old Chicago

First I'd like to say that I was here on a Tuesday not sure how a weekend crowd would be. The hostess was really nice and polite and greeted me as soon as I walked through the door!! My waiter(Avery) was very good and when I asked for a recommendation of what to eat, he was able to give some good suggestions. He was very on point for keeping check on me and if I needed anything. Now, I decided to go with the cauliflower Meat Me pizza. It was very pleasing and tasteful. The andouille sausage was the kicker for this pizza. Great meal!!

Love this place. Have been twice in which I sat at the bar side once and the other side once; It makes such a different atmosphere and experience. Great customer service. Delicious, and variety of, food. Great drinks. My husband and I will definitely be back for a third, fourth...many times to come.

Our waiter was superb, but the food was not very good. I had a burger and the bun was so tough I literally had to eat it with a fork and knife, the burger itself was mediocre. Another person's food in our party sat so long before it was served that they actually had to remake it - that's after waiting nearly an hour while there was hardly anyone else in the business. But like I said, the waiter was extremely efficient and friendly, I'd give him 5 stars. Hopefully things turn around for the restaurant, I've eaten there before and it used to be top notch.

When we first walked in we stood there for a good 10 min as employees crossed us back and forth trying to close the seating section down (it was 5:30 pm on a Tuesday)...we thought they may be getting a table ready for us. Then they eventually said "Oh it's open seating you can sit where you want". We sat down - waitress came and was the rudest non approachable waitress I've ever had. Even my children and my boy friend thought so. They would say thank you for the drinks etc and she would respond with not a word before walking off. It took over an hour to get the food. They were not busy at all. Our appetizers came out with the entrees. The most disturbing issue I witnessed though was an older couple who walked in. Again - were not greeted just as we weren't. She was in a wheelchair. It was clear there was NOT a single handicapped table for them to sit at. As they continued to be ignored and waited for help, my youngest son (10) even said "Mom should we go help them?" After about 10 min of being ignored they left clearly frustrated. The waitress charged me wrong for an appetizer - when I pointed out her mistake it was "oh..." and then she walked off. It was just very uncomfortable there. There was no communication with the staff whatsoever and it was embarrassing to watch the older couple be ignored for so long. I can deal with food taking a long time and understand people being over worked. But it was slow. And more importantly there is never a time I will understand rude behavior. We will not be back unfortunately to that location.

Like the infamous TMNTs, I love pizza and this place rekindles my love for it every time I go there! The hand tossed buttery crust, mouth-watering sauce, with the perfect ratio of mazerella cheese makes for an excellent pie! You know it's really good when you can reheat it and experience the same thing all over again. This is a must for true pizza lovers!

Service was excellent, however the food was awful. Took my wife here for dinner tonight and doubtful we will ever be back. This was our first time eating here and was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the server who waited on us. I had the chicken bacon macaroni and cheese and that was ok at best. My wife tried the chicken carbonara and it was terrible. She are a few bites and left the rest. One plus other than the excellent server, very large beer selection! 👍

We went in waited almost 8 min before anyone even knew we were there and that was because I call the store on my cell. We could see 2 empty tables and 3 dirty tables on the dining side, we saw what I would guess was the bartender Just standing at the bar who I waved at to have him get some service, he just stood there and talked to what I would guess were waitresses ,host or a manager.when we got someone to finally come talk to us they said were under staffed and would have to wait 30 minutes which is ok if we hadn't seen all the empty clean tables and the workers just standing around.
