So I’ve been coming here for over 25 years. Honestly it’s been so long that I’ve lost track. Nippers has changed owners over the years, but it’s maintained it’s quality and taste throughout. The prices aren’t bad either…even with the rise in cost of everything everywhere in recent months. All the guys are super friendly and treat everyone with respect. My fav is the double cheese no cheese burger (inside joke) and the fries are the best especially loaded with vinegar. I just with they were open later some days.

Such a great spot, friendly staff and reliable quality. I hope nothing changes and they stay open forever, not much left in this town to enjoy. Also better and cheaper than any other Coney place in town. Mckellers charge like $5 a Coney dog lol.

I gotta give this 5 stars. The bacon cheese burger is my goto. Melts in the mouth. Fast, friendly and clean service. A must see place to get your eats on. Better coneysauce anywhere in thunder bay.
They only take cash, but there is an atm inside.
French fries are great too. I will start making my way thru all the menu items.
Pleanty of standing room and ample parking.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The food is awesome, the menu keeps growing, the owner is an awesome, outgoing, and extremely friendly guy. And the staff.... they are GREAT!!!! The customer service provided at Nippers is probably the best that I have seen out of any restaurant that I have ever gone to. If I could rate this place from 1 - 100 ... The rating would be off the charts.

After years away from my hometown, decided to make the rounds and see exactly which was best. Nippers, McKellar or Coney Island. Had a burger and hotdog from each and this one is hands down the winner. Sis got large fries which were more than enough for 3 even 4 people. Friendly guys behind the counter worked like a team and got the orders out fast. Get them now tho. They are closed for 3 week in Sept 2020 (not sure why with everything just getting back to norm)

It was a great experience. Bought special burger, large fries with gravy and hot Italian sausage for $11. Also they gave me a huge portion of sample fries too. Even though I am not a huge fan of their burger, their Italian sausage was really good. I also uploaded their menu with this review.
