Pho Spicy Basil

I had high hopes for this place because I had heard good reviews in the past. This restaurant is close by my work so I thought I would give it a shot. The owner is very friendly and attentive when you first walk in. Unfortunately the food is a different story. I have gone here on two different occasions and will never go back. The first stop I had ordered egg rolls. They charged me 9 dollars for two tiny egg rolls that were cold. The second time I decided to give it another chance. I ordered kung pao chicken for the lunch special. He stated that it will take 15 minutes to make. Upon waiting, I heard microwaves in the back and it sounded like he was just reheating food. My egg rolls were ice cold and the chicken tasted old/burnt. Not only is this a disappointment but it is quite surprising that this place is still in business. I will not be recommending this place.

This was absolutely awful. The people who work here are rotten. After working in the service industry for three years as a waitress, I can honestly say I have never had this awful of an experience ever. After we arrived it took ten minutes for anyone to walk over to our table to even take our drinks. It took another 20 minutes to even receive the appetizers that were ordered. Another 20 minutes later, food was delivered, no one came to ask how anything was. I'm not sure why any of the food took so long, especially because the restaurant was completely empty. We were the only table in there. The food that was ordered, appetizers and entrees were absolutely awful. The sesame chicken tasted like stale peanut butter, while the rice wasn't even edible. Both bowls of pho were awful as well. No spoons were even given to drunk the broth with. When talking to management about the issues we had with the food to try and get our problems solved, he screamed at us and threatened to call the police. If I could rate this place a complete zero I would. Everything about this place was absolutely atrocious. If you value your taste buds do not go here. The rudeness as well as the food was not worth the hour of my time that I just wasted.

I was happy they had delivery service. Went in and the place was empty(first red flag), I ordered their Pho and the broth was extremely bland no option but to pour sauce which made it a tiny bit better. I ordered spicy wonton soup and the meat inside the wontons was dry(old?). The waiter was very nice. As time went by we decided to go back and ordered something different, the food was ok but never improved. This place is depressing and not a good place to enjoy food. Prices are ridiculous for the poor quality food.

The worst place ever (HAD TO CALL COPS)The place kinda looked cool and it was close to our house so we tried it but the food was terrible !! My husband got this Thai curry noodle and some how they managed to make it over cooked and at the same time undercooked. I should of read the reviews because it just horrible !! And once he told the guy the food was not well cooked he got so defensive and we told him we would pay just for my food which was Pho which was not good but not terrible . So we told him we would pay for my but not my husband. Then he called the police and we waited there because we never done this before!! Once the cop come he told them what happen . They were very cool (the cops) but since the guy was making it a big deal they asked us nicely to just pay and we did! From what the cops told us that this was not the first time they have came here for the same reason. !! Please don't come here !!

Never again!!! Horrible customer service and inedible food! I ordered $55 worth of food, a selection of appetizers and two meals. The food arrived cold, dry, overdone and the fried food was soggy. I called to revolve my issues and was treated rudely by the manager who gave me a better luck next time response. I hate complaining but everything was inedible and we had to get something else for dinner. Quite an expensive meal for our trash can.

Wow. What a TERRIBLE experience. First time order- wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Ordered online and got a confirmation for delivery. Called 45 MINTUES after the delivery was supposed to be delivered- 1 hour and 45 minutes after I placed the order. Called the restaurant and they 'forgot about my order' and just started to make it WHEN I CALLED. Then, when the people I ordered through contacted them, they had cancelled the order. Spoke to the owner (after he hung up on me twice). Said that HE cancelled the order because he was going to give me a free egg roll. A free egg roll for being over 2.5 hours late on an order. Then, he hung up on me. I'll NEVER order from this place again. I'll NEVER set place in this establishment even though it's 5 minutes from my house. When I called, I heard an order that was going to be ready in 10 minutes. Wish I could have tasted the food. But crappy management usually means crappy food.

Absolutely horrible!! Served me rotten food. The jalapeños were slimy and rotten, the meat had a weird flavor, the lettuce was brown, and the limes were yellow and molding. When I complained and said I wasn't paying for rotten food he screamed at me, called the police, and threatened my family with violence. Absolutely ridiculous experience. I will be reporting them to the heath department, and I reported the threat to my family to the police. I honestly have no idea how they are in business, disgusting experience all around, but very thankful for the officers who responded.

It took over 30 minutes and we were one of only 2 tables there! We had to ask for more water because the only thing close to a server was what looked like a 6 year old boy! It was only he and his dad there. Another guy who came after us left without eating because it took so long! When spring rolls came, they sucked; very sticky, falling apart and only one shrimp and lettuce. After 30 minutes, when our pho finally came out, the pho broth was really salty (and i like salty food normally), the noodles in the pho were in a hard ball and not tasty, the man said they didn't have basil or mint leaves when we asked for them, and there was only 5 pieces of steak in all in my pho (#1 rare steak). Also my sons order of chicken fried rice was all clumpy and bland. Definitely the worst pho restaurant I've been to. We only went there because the one on 70th and Washington was already closed. That one puts this place to shame!
